KOEI TECMO EUROPE ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF ATELIER ESCHA & LOGY PLUS: ALCHEMISTS OF THE DUSK SKY

KOEI TECMO EUROPE ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF ATELIER ESCHA & LOGY PLUS: ALCHEMISTS OF THE DUSK SKY

“Plus” Version of Acclaimed Standalone Installment Now Available on PS®VITA with All Previous DLC and Exclusive Content; Early Purchase Content Revealed

Hertfordshire, 19th January 2016—KOEI TECMO Europe announced today the release of Atelier Escha & Logy Plus: Alchemists of The Dusk Sky exclusively for the PlayStation®Vita handheld system. Those who purchase the game within its first month of sale will receive free bonus content consisting of: a Striped Swimsuit costume (for Escha), a Last Resort costume (for Logy), a Wedding costume (for Escha & Logy), and an Administrator costume (for Nio). To commemorate the game’s launch, KOEI TECMO has released a brand new trailer focusing on the game’s characters.

Following the success of past Atelier releases on the portable platform, Atelier Escha & Logy Plus is the second standalone installment in developer GUST’s latest Atelier trilogy: the trilogy of Dusk. Preceded by the bittersweet Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk, Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky was released for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system in 2014 and is the first of the PS3 Atelier titles to feature a dual-protagonist story structure, in which the player can choose to see the story unfold through the eyes of the romantic alchemist Escha Malier, or the more levelheaded and rational Logix Ficsario.

The Plus version of Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky comes bursting with new content, including brand new event scenes inspired by the Escha & Logy anime, which released in Japan in celebration of developer GUST’s 20thanniversary. These new scenes delve deeper into the relationship that Escha and Logy share, revealing a sweet secret story that was not available in previous versions of the game.

Additionally, Atelier Escha & Logy Plus includes all DLC from the PlayStation®3 version, a new playable character (Nio Altugle, younger sister of Atelier Ayesha), new costumes, and—to the delight of fans of the Atelier IP—a series of new and more challenging missions and ‘boss’ enemies! GUST has also incorporated PS®VITA-specific features into the game alongside balancing fixes to create a more level gaming experience for the PlayStation®Vita. Atelier Escha & Logy Plus: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky is also compatible with PlayStation®TV.

Hardboiled Sequel Lock And Loaded With Vastly Improved Controls, Cross-Buy/Cross-Save Functionality, Killer Soundtrack and More

Los Angeles, CA– January 19, 2016 – Everyone’s favorite fearsome, feathered fighting force is back with a vengeance! Ratloop Asia is pleased to announce that Rocketbirds 2: Evolution, the sequel to the fan-favorite original Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, is coming soon to the PlayStation®4 and the PS Vita.

watch it on YouTube HEREwww.youtube.com/watch?v=q5kbNffUDrg

“The original Rocketbirds, with its memorable art style and hilariously dark sense of fowl humor, still holds a special place in many gamers’ hearts around the globe,” said Rocketbirds creator, Sian Yue Tan. “We’ve been working on delivering a sequel for some time now, and are thrilled that it will soon be available to players, who will in turn be thrilled that it builds upon and improves just about everything they loved about the original.”

Rocketbirds 2: Evolution picks up right where the cinematic adventure of Hardboiled Chicken left off. Players again will gear up as Hardboiled, the tough-as-nails, plucky chicken super-agent and the original “Cock of War.” The evil megalomaniacal despot Putzki, who wants nothing more than to bend the world to his wing, is still alive, and his evil plans force Hardboiled to hunt him down and eliminate him once and for all. Featuring enhanced gameplay controls, new combat systems, an expanded arsenal, and two new game modes, Rocketbirds 2: Evolution’s new level of depth and replay value also is fueled with jetpack action, space owls, and co-op multiplayer.

Key features of Rocketbirds 2: Evolution include:

  • Improved Controls: New and improved controls provide easy to pick-up-and-play gameplay, plus an upgraded combat system where gamers can run, aim, jump and shoot; all at the same time.
  • New Game Modes: Two new game modes: Story Mode and Rescue Mode
  • Story Mode: In story mode, Hardboiled finds out Putzki is still alive and seeks to eliminate him once and for all. Along the way, Hardboiled realizes the Trans-dimensional Space Owls are behind it all and needs to re-assess who his enemies really are.
  • Rescue Mode: Assemble a strike force of great magnitude and drop-in to a game of (up to four player) online/offline Rescue Mode, a meta collection game that takes place in up to four completely different, procedurally generated locations. Gear up, Rescue and Recruit over 16 hostages to fight the Penguin Regime. Prefer to play alone? You can do that too, but we recommend you Rent-A-Duck mercenary for additional “feather-power” support. And get ready to ruffle feathers in the Dojo, where players can go head-to-head in intense firefights.
  • Hardboiled Humor: Fused with hilarious voice-over moments, Rocketbirds 2: Evolution retains the original game’s sense of humor and builds on it with more laughable and ridiculously absurd moments
  • High Flying Soundtrack: The talented band New World Revolution, which provided the kick-a$$ soundtrack for the original game, is back with an exclusive soundtrack to bring the game to life.
  • Unlockables and Easter Eggs: Discover loot locations throughout Rescue Mode to unlock 100+ weapons and costumes, money to buy ammo, better weapons, or rent-a-duck for combat support.

Ratloop Asia will be releasing more information for Rocketbirds 2: Evolution in the coming months, including an exact release date. In the meantime, stay up to date on the latest Rocketbirds 2: Evolution updates on Twitter and Facebook.

Dragon Ball Project Fusion Announced for 3DS

Dragon-Ball-Project-Fusion.-Scan-01jpg

As far as new Dragon Ball games comes this one is certainly the strangest I have ever seen! Following on from the much more tame 3DS release Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden, Dragon Ball Project Fusion has been leaked in Japanese magazine V-Jump and while very little information was released alongside the announcement, the primary image of Super Saiyan Goku and Legendary Super Saiyan Broly performing the Fusion Dance should tell you everything we need to know.

goku-dende-fusion-01

What we do know for sure is the game will be a Nintendo 3DS exclusive, will be releasing this year and it will be an RPG. There are some 3DS games which don’t make their way to International markets but with a premise this crazy I certainly hope it does, just imagine the possibilities! Drop your most crazy/most wanted DBZ fusion in the comments below!
