Get up close and personal with new War Rock update

‘Blackshark’ update lands this month; adds new map, weapons and more

On 16th March, free-to-play shooter, WarRock will receive a new update that brings with it an intense, close quarters map, new elite weapons, special events and rewards.

Modern House, is a brand new map that offers WarRock veterans a new type of combat experience – close quarter action. As the safe house of the BlackSharks – an elite squad of high-ranking officers from NIU’s special operation force – Modern House, is absolutely loaded with their trademark tiger-striped weaponry.

Players can take up arms with newly designed weaponry from a selection of guns (MPX, VSS, M4A1, M202A1), now with the BlackShark design to fit in amongst the troops.

Darbaran has caught wind of the location of the safehouse, which means it’s just a matter of time before his squad of mercenaries show up, and raise hell – turning the place upside down in a search for the arms stash.

Throughout April, all players that take up arms will be granted an 100% bonus on all EXP on Modern House. While those players who play for at least 30 minutes a day can earn up to five coupons a day, which can be used to purchase items.

Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill Reprise Roles for Animated The Killing Joke

killing-joke-first-image-01

Last year it was announced the graphic novel would be receiving it’s own animated movie and we now have confirmation that Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill will be reprising their roles as Batman and Joker respectively from a long list of games and other animated material. Very famous female voice actress Tara Strong will voice Barbara Gordon and Ray Wise will voice Commissioner Gordon.

The Killing Joke is one of the most popular stories in the Batman mythos and was even represented in a few scenes in last years Batman: Arkham Knight game. The story is critically acclaimed as one of the best Batman works out there and details the origin of The Joker which is a fairly rare topic.

Alongside this confirmation we also received the first official still from the animated film which can be seen at the top of this article. No home release date has been set but the film will premiere at San Diego Comic-Con which will take place from July 21 to July 24.

The novel is well known for it’s ‘open to interpretation’ ending here so I am very excited to see how the animated version handles that. According to Mark Hamill’s Twitter they are doing something very exciting with it based on his latest Tweet.
