Last year at Tokyo Game Show we learned that Toukiden 2 was in the works from Koei Tecmo and Omega Force and although we have been given bits and pieces of information since the announcement, we have yet to see an official trailer for the title outside of a few videos here and there. That changed earlier today when Koei Tecmo released their first official trailer for the game showing off the new open world and enhanced combat systems that will be offered in the game.
You can check out the video below and as for the game itself, Toukiden 2 is set to be released in Japan on June 30th for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita and a demo for the PlayStaiton 4 version will be released on April 11th. At the moment Toukiden 2 has not been announced for release in the West.
While many were excited to hear that Nintendo and Game Freak were working on a brand new set of Pokémongames, a number were a bit upset that not even a teaser piece of footage was shown off for Pokémon Sun & Moon. Thankfully it seems that will be changing next Sunday as Serebii is stating that the first footage for the game will debut on the upcoming episode of the variety show Gathering at the Pokémon House.
The games’ series director Junichi Masuda, battle director Shigeki Morimoto, and game director Shigeru Ohmori will be on the episode and will talk about the games as well as debut the footage.
After announcing that fans wouldn’t need to wait a decade for the next Utawarerumono game and then leaving many disappointed with the way that the anime adaptation of the second game was handled, Aquaplus has announced that Utawarerumono: The Two Hakuoros, the third and final game in the series, will be released on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita in Japan on September 21st.
To go along with this announcement Aquaplus has opened up a teaser website as well as a couple of short commercials that provide no footage about the game other than a quote saying “The fate of two countries, Yamato and Tusukuru. What is the truth hidden behind the masks?”
Recently Bandai Namco released the main visual as well as a new trailer for the upcoming Tales of Zestiria the X anime that will be debuting sometime during the summer anime season.
The anime adaptation is being handled by ufotable and will feature a theme song that is being performed by Flow. For those who played Tales of Zestiria in Japanese back when it is released, the voice actor for Lailah will sound different when the anime debuts as her former voice actress, Miyu Matsuki, passed away last year and is being replaced by Noriko Shitaya. The main visual and the video can be found below, though it is worth noting that the video begins with an advertisement for Tales of Berseria and then shifts to the actual trailer at the one minute mark.
It has been announced by Spike Chunsoft that the Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak Academy anime will be split into two separate chapters, with the first one, Future Volume, being broadcast in July with the second, Despair Volume, occurring sometime afterwards. The announcement also gave us a bit of information for each volume as well as a video introducing the series, however they will be filled with spoilers if you haven’t delved into the series.
That being said, with Future Volume following the story of Makoto Naegi, Kyoko Kirigiri, Aoi Asahina, Yasuhiro Hagakure, and the twelve new characters, while the Despair Volume will follow the characters that were introduced in Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair.
A couple of weeks ago Telltale Games announced that the second of three episodes for The Walking Dead: Michonne would be released at the end of March and now that that release date happens to be tomorrow, the company has released a new trailer showing off a little of what fans can expect from the “Give No Shelter.”
In this second episode, Michonne, Pete, and Sam will be running for their lives after making a daring escape from the floating colony of Monroe, but any reprieve they might find will be short as the leaders of Monroe aren’t about to let these three run away without payback.
League of Legends OPL Split 1 Playoffs Start TONIGHT
Following 10 weeks of intense competition, the four teams moving into the OPL Split 1 playoffs have been revealed.
Legacy, Chiefs, Sin Gaming and Dire Wolves have secured their spot in the Semi Finals and will battle it out tonight and tomorrow from 7pm (AEST), for the 2016 OPL Split 1
Championship. The competition between all the teams has been fierce with Sin, Chiefs and Dire Wolves all placing within 1 point of each other. Legacy had an impressive showing this split, finishing on top with a near-perfect run. Theywill be meeting Dire Wolves in the Semi Finals, who lost to Legacy in Week 5 and in the Split 2 semis last year. Dire Wolves have had a turbulent split, winning 6 games and losing 4, but they are hungry to get back into this year’s Split 1 Finals, which they reached last year.
Chiefs have had a rocky split, but now they are back to full strength with the return of their star mid laner Swiffer. They have a chance to reclaim their Championship crown, but first they need to fend off Sin Gaming again, after beating them in last week’s round. Sin Gaming had a slow start, but have come back with a vengeance in the last half of the split and are ready to retake Chiefs to reach their first ever OPL final.
The two Semi Final victors will face off in a best of 5 final on Tuesday 5 April from 7pm (AEST) to determine the OPL Split 1 Champion and the winner will take home $16,000. The final will also be exclusively screened in HOYTS Cinemas across Australia and New Zealand.
