BECOME BEST FRIENDS WITH A TEDDY BEAR BROUGHT TO LIFE IN TEDDY TOGETHER, COMING TO NINTENDO 2DS AND NINTENDO 3DS ON JULY 2

Young children take care of a special teddy bear who can talk, walk, and play games in this new title that’s ideal for parents and children to play together

24th May, 2016 – What child hasn’t dreamed of their favourite toy coming to life? That’s exactly what happens in Teddy Together, a new game joining the ever-growing catalogue of kid-favourite games like nintendogs + cats available on the Nintendo 3DS family of systems, which includes the entry-level Nintendo 2DS system. Ideal for parents to play together with their young children as they’re developing their reading and interpersonal skills, Teddy Together will be available from July 2 in Australia and New Zealand at a suggested retail price of AU$49.95.

The story begins when a teddy bear is delivered to the player’s house, along with a mysterious key. The magic starts when Teddy springs to life and starts to speak to the player! Children can give Teddy a name and enter their own name, creating an instant personal connection between the two new friends. From this point on, the tale of Teddy Together advances a bit each day as children learn more about the teddy’s purpose and the mysterious key, making it an ideal interactive bedtime story that parents and their young children can enjoy together.

This inquisitive little bear is particularly interested in learning more about friendship, and often asks the player questions like, “What do you do for fun?”, “How do you make friends?”, and “What’s your favourite food?”. Teddy will remember those answers and bring them up in conversation later on, forging a unique relationship between Teddy and the player, as the answers are always just between them*. Teddy’s cute reactions and encouraging personality are sure to bring a smile to any child’s face, which might even help them grow in confidence and self-esteem. Players can also introduce Teddy to their friends, who can give answers that Teddy will remember and even mention later on.

Teddy loves to eat too, so children can play fun minigames via the Touch Screen to prepare a range of meals, then feed Teddy. But be careful: sometimes the food will be too hot, and the player will have to blow into the microphone to cool it down! Teddy can be a bit of a messy eater at times, so a little light cleaning might be needed after a meal. Don’t worry: Teddy also loves to take baths, so is never dirty for long! Players can dress their teddy up too, with a big range of tops, hats, shoes, accessories and more, plus different fur colours to unlock too, making each player’s bear even more unique to them. Clothes, special lollies that unlock new fur colours, and seeds that can be planted in the garden are all purchased using coins, which are earned through playing or by tapping a compatible amiibo figure once a day.

The unique simulation game Teddy Together lets young children make friends with a teddy bear that comes to life, talking and asking questions to learn more about friendship. The game will be available for Nintendo 3DS family systems, including Nintendo 2DS which plays all Nintendo 3DS games in 2D, from July 2, 2016 in Australia and New Zealand.

THE FUTURE IS NOW! OVERWATCH® IS LIVE ON CONSOLE AND PC

Blizzard Entertainment’s futuristic team-based shooter available today globally on

PC, PS4, and Xbox One Join the battle at www.playoverwatch.com

SYDNEY, Australia—May 24, 2016—
“The world could always use more heroes”—and today, the watch begins for gamers around the globe. After drawing more than 9.7 million players to Blizzard Entertainment’s biggest open beta ever, Overwatch®—the company’s team-based first-person shooter—is now live on Windows® PC, PlayStation®4, and Xbox One!

Overwatch takes place on a near-future Earth, where teams of soldiers, scientists, adventurers, and oddities clash for control of key locations around the world, from serene castle grounds in Japan to mech-production facilities in the wintry heart of Russia. The game features a diverse cast of 21 unique heroes—including Tracer, the time-jumping adventurer; McCree, the outlaw gunslinger; and Winston, the brilliant gorilla scientist—each armed with signature weapons and awe-inspiring abilities. These extraordinary characters must team up and work together to complete critical objectives in a variety of unique play modes, including Assault, Escort, and Control. Players are able to swap heroes to adapt to the ever-changing situation on the battlefield—the action is fast and fun, and the tactical possibilities are endless.

“We’re thrilled to welcome console and PC gamers everywhere to the future world of Overwatch,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “We’ve worked hard to create a team shooter that anyone can enjoy, with rewarding cooperative gameplay, fast-paced competitive action, and a diverse cast of awesome heroes that we’re proud to add to the Blizzard family. We think shooter veterans and anyone new to the genre will find that Overwatch is an absolute blast to play.”

Different Ways to Play

Overwatch features a variety of game modes for heroes of every kind. Quick Play automatically matches players with allies and opponents of a similar skill level—a quick and easy way to jump into the fight. Play Vs. AI mode pits a team of human players against computer-controlled opponents, with multiple difficulty settings to choose from. Custom Games allow teams of friends to tweak the game’s rules, while the wild Weekly Brawl! offers up an unexpected challenge every week, like “Justice Rains from Above” (an aerial extravaganza starring rocket-powered Pharah and Mercy, the high-flying healer) and the intense “Arcade” brawl, which features more health, faster cooldowns, and quick respawns. And there’s more to come: some time after launch, players looking for the ultimate team challenge will be able to test their mettle, earn ranks, and show off their skill in Competitive Play. Blizzard also plans to patch in new heroes and maps in the future at no additional cost.

As players compete in matches—win or lose—they’ll level up and earn Loot Boxes; each containing an assortment of in-game credits or up to four cosmetic items to customise their heroes, including skins, sprays, voice lines, and new animations. Loot Boxes can also contain legendary skins that dramatically alter their heroes’ appearance, such as the dashing and adventurous Safari Winston, or Young Genji—a version of Overwatch’s mysterious ninja from before he received his cybernetic enhancements.

Gamers can join the fight for the future today by purchasing Overwatch: Origins Edition (RRP $89.95 AUD / $104.99 NZD on Windows PC; $99.95 AUD / $114.99 NZD on PS4 system/Xbox One) from www.playoverwatch.com/buy. Overwatch: Origins Edition comes with a collection of hero skins that provide players with insight into five characters’ pasts—Blackwatch Reyes (Reaper), Strike-Commander Morrison (Soldier: 76), Overgrown Bastion, Security Chief Pharah, and Slipstream Tracer—as well as a cache of goodies for several Blizzard Entertainment games, including glowing Mercy wings for Diablo® III, a Baby Winston pet for World of Warcraft®, a set of heroic StarCraft® II portraits, an Overwatch-themed Hearthstone® card back, and the playable Tracer hero for Heroes of the Storm®.

Overwatch is also available in a limited-edition, retail-only Collector’s Edition (RRP $189.95 AUD / $214.99 NZD on Windows PC; RRP $199.95 AUD / $229.99 NZD, PS4 system/Xbox One) which contains all of the content listed above along with a full-colour source book, the Overwatch soundtrack, and a high-quality collectible statue of Soldier: 76—the vigilante alter ego of former Overwatch commander Jack Morrison. Quantities are limited; players should check with their local retailer for availability. Windows PC gamers also have the option to download a digital PC edition ($69.95 AUD digital only), which includes all 21 heroes and provides players with the core Overwatch experience.

Players on any platform looking to augment their collection of skins, sprays, and other cosmetic goodies may also purchase the same Loot Boxes that they can earn through gameplay. On PC, these are available in quantities of 2 for $2.95 AUD, 5 for $7.35 AUD, 11 for $14.95 AUD, 24 for $29.95 AUD, and 50 for $59.95 AUD. Console pricing may vary by region.

Curve Digital Announces Release Date for Insane Action Platformer 10 Second Ninja X

Curve Digital Announces Release Date for Insane Action Platformer 10 Second Ninja X

Sequel to the Brilliant ‘10 Second Ninja’ Gets Timely Release on July 19 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and PC

LONDON—May 24, 2016—Indie publisher Curve Digital and developer Four Circle Interactive today revealed that its thrilling action platformer and follow-up to 10 Second Ninja, 10 Second Ninja X, will launch worldwide on July 19, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation Vita, and Steam. To commemorate the announcement, Curve Digital and Four Circle Interactive have released a brand new trailer.

The game’s premise is simple: destroy everything within ten seconds in order to continue. But 10 Second Ninja X hides loads more behind its initial promise, as console and PC owners will discover. The studio’s original 10 Second Ninja won many fans, and the standalone sequel improves literally everything about the game’s formula, apart from the strict ten second time limit, which remains at ten seconds. Designed from the ground-up to be instantly replayable, 10 Second Ninja X is as joyous as it is challenging, and failing a level, be that by meeting a painful end or not completing the objective within ten seconds, is guaranteed to be entirely the player’s fault.

10 Second Ninja X boasts 60 immaculately designed levels spread across six rich and varied worlds. While much of the challenge comes from demonstrating the dexterity and reactions necessary to traverse each level within ten seconds, players looking for a bigger challenge will want to complete each as fast as possible. Each level is a puzzle, with its hallowed three-star reward reserved only for the genuinely skilled. Three-starring levels requires such pixel-perfect precision, such error-free choreography, that a perfect run will come rarely. But when it does, oh boy…

New features in 10 Second Ninja X include a bunch of new mini games, a host of unlockable costumes, a ghost mode, a new hub world and all-new HD visuals. And once the game’s 60 levels have been completed, players will unlock remastered versions of the original 10 Second Ninja levels, though with the “dubious” content removed in order for it to pass console certification.

10 Second Ninja was our first game as a studio,” says Dan Pearce, Game Director at Four Circle Interactive. “Despite turning out officially brilliant – <ahem> 90 per cent from God Is A Geek </ahem> – we learnt an awful lot, making 10 Second Ninja X the game we really wanted to make. Though we’re going to be sad when we get knocked off the test leaderboards, we’re ridiculously excited to see people shaving milliseconds off the time when the game is officially released.”

Developed by Four Circle Interactive and published by Curve Digital, 10 Second Ninja X is slated to launch on July 19, 2016 for Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita (cross-buy is enabled for the latter two versions) for $9.99 / £7.99 / €9.99. This title has not yet been rated by the ESRB.
