To celebrate the start of pre-orders* on both systems, a story trailer directed by Shinji Higuchi showcasing the story that awaits fans has been unveiled, along with details on characters and game systems.
In Nioh 3, players take on the role ofTokugawa Takechiyo, poised to become the next Shogun during Japan’s turbulent Sengoku period. In the shadows, Takechiyo’s younger brother, Tokugawa Kunimatsu, consumed by hatred towards his brother’s succession, plots to overthrow him. Empowered by a sinister force, he leads a horde of yokai in a fierce assault on Takechiyo, abruptly ending the era of peace and plunging Japan into hell. Guided by the mysterious power of his guardian spirit Kusanagi, Takechiyo transcends time to survive a kingdom in dire straits and become shogun.
The story of Nioh 3 will unfold on a larger scale than ever before in series history. Covering various eras and regions, including Edo Castle and the Tōtōmi region during the Sengoku period, which players were able to explore in the Alpha demo, as well as the recently unveiled Kyoto, the capital of the Heian period. Players will be able to freely explore each era in open-field experience, featuring beautiful and distinct environments. During his perilous quest to foil his brother’s conspiracy, Takechiyo will face various yokai and other powerful enemies, while taking on the challenge of the Crucible. During their journey, players will encounter various characters from different eras including Takeda Shingen, Minamoto no Yoshitsune, and Minamoto no Yoritomo. Other well-known figures familiar to fans will cross paths with Tokugawa Takechiyo, including Hattori Hanzo, Honda Tadakatsu, and Saito Fuku. Actors Tao Tsuchiya and Kanata Hongo will also be lending their talents in Nioh 3 as Himiko, the mysterious queen of Yamatai-koku, and Kunimatsu Tokugawa respectively. Saros launches Friday, 20 March on PS5, first look at gameplay from today’s State of Play
Housemarque has revealed extended gameplay and new combat systems for its next title, Saros, which is launching Friday, 20 March, 2026 on PS5 and enhanced for PS5 Pro.
The events of Saros take place on Carcosa, a shape-shifting, hostile alien planet; one that changes on every death, and offers a wide variety of environments and enemies for players to encounter. In this gameplay first look, we see the protagonist Arjun Devraj (performed by Rahul Kohli) exploring the planet as a total eclipse nears. Along the way he finds Nitya Chandran (performed by Shunori Ramanthan), one of the ensemble cast, and a key character. The stunning environment Arjun explores is that of a lost ancient civilisation fueled by the twisted enlightenment of the eclipse.

LOS ANGELES – SEPTEMBER 24, 2025 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, announced its upcoming open-world action RPG, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, will launch globally on PlayStation® 5, Steam (PC), and mobile on January 28, 2026. The announcement was made during Sony Interactive Entertainment’s State of Play, accompanied by the debut of a new gameplay trailer.
The newly revealed walkthrough video highlighted the game’s seamless blend of single-player storytelling and multiplayer co-op features. Players will explore the continent of Britannia while engaging in various activities such as fishing, cooking, resource gathering, and more.
