Extreme Arcade Racer ‘Moto Racer 4’ Now Available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4

The popular arcade racing series has returned as ‘Moto Racer 4’ is now available on consoles

Moto Racer 4 launch trailer can be viewed here

PARIS – January 24, 2017 – Microïds is pleased to announce that its popular arcade racing series is back on track as ‘Moto Racer 4’ is now available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It can be purchased through retail stores and digitally on the PlayStation Store or Xbox Marketplace for $39.99. The launch gives racing fans the opportunity to enjoy its frantic gameplay that features 2 styles of play with high-speed racing bikes and Motocross through 2 game modes: Asphalt and Dirt.

Moto Racer 4 recaptures the same intensity that made the original trilogy well-known among the racing community, as it’s developed by Microids and Artefacts Studio with supervision from the series’ original creator, Paul Cuisset. “It’s wonderful to see the Moto Racer series take another lap with the release of Moto Racer 4. Both fans and newcomers alike can now remember why arcade racers used to be so much fun, with intense speed and ground breaking leaps that provide the time to pull off a stunt or two while in mid-air. We’re so thrilled that this current generation of console owners can now participate in the Moto Racer series with Moto Racer 4.” Says Paul Cuisset.

Moto Racer 4 consists of 15 single player and multiplayer game modes and features 2-10 players online and local split-screen multiplayer. There are 2 distinct styles of racing to choose from as well; the high-speed racing bikes (Asphalt mode) and the more high-flying and stunt-filled Motocross (Dirt mode). There is also bike and rider customization to choose from to make the journey through the game even more unique.

With the PlayStation VR, players can now completely immerse themselves in 2 modes: Time attack and Hot Lap. In order to offer them more and more sensations, Microïds and Artefact Studios will progressively and freely make all game modes and races, already available in Moto Racer 4, compatible in VR.

Moto Racer 4 is available today, January 24, on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for $39.99.

It is available as a boxed edition through retail outlets and as a digital download on the Xbox Marketplace and PlayStation Store. And no matter which road fans take, they are in for high-octane racing action that provides 2 thrilling styles that alternate between the speed of asphalt mode and the altitude of motocross.

Utilise the Power of the Demon Hand to Explore a Massive Open World and Defeat Hordes of Dangerous Oni on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®Vita and Windows PC via Steam®

Hertfordshire, 24th January 2017 – KOEI TECMO Europe is excited to reveal today that Toukiden 2, the sequel to the popular demon-hunting RPG Toukiden, will launch on the 24th March 2017 across Europe for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system and on Windows PC via Steam®. A new action-packed trailer was released today alongside a selection of screenshots that highlight the versatile Demon Hand device and the village of Mahoroba, as well as some of the new characters who will aid players on their quest.

During an event known as the Awakening, when Oni ravaged the world and left it in ruins, a group of Slayers – defenders of mankind – set out to defend the city of Yokohama and drive back an attacking force of Oni. In the midst of their fierce battle, a giant demon emerged, and opened a portal that swallowed a lone Slayer. Ten years later, and with no memory of the past, that Slayer awakens in Mahoroba Village. Toukiden 2 puts players into the boots of this mysterious Slayer, who is accompanied by a unique cast of compelling characters: Hakase, a professor keen to learn the truth of the world, Tokitsugu, a Machina imbued with a human soul, Gwen, a young British Slayer and master of sword and shield, Benizuki, a kind-hearted fellow considered to be the strongest Slayer in town, and Homura, an ex-thief turned Slayer who wields a chain whip.

The ever-inventive Professor has constructed a unique device for Slayers which creates a physical manifestation of their thoughts: the Demon Hand. Using this strange apparatus, players can grab onto foes and throw themselves into the air to land blows from above, as well as execute evasive attacks to slam Oni into the ground. Not only is the Demon Hand useful in combat and it also aids in exploration of the game’s vast open landscape, the Otherworld. Areas may be blocked off or out of reach, but using an Oni Smash with the Demon Hand, players can destroy obstacles without ever leaving a trace, and otherwise inaccessible ledges are easily reached with an Oni Grapple.

Besides the beasts that threaten to eliminate humanity, the world of Toukiden 2 is also home to creatures that aid players on their quest. For example, materials for improving weapons and armor can be easily gathered by ordering hardworking Machina out to explore the Otherworld. By upgrading and repairing these robotic partners, Machina are able to bring back rarer and higher quantities of materials to create better equipment at the Blacksmith. In addition, the adorable Tenko companions make their return in Toukiden 2 and can be saved from peril while exploring the Otherworld. Once rescued, Tenko can be cared for, and once a Slayer’s bond with their Tenko is great enough, they can journey together in the Otherworld.

Prospective players who preorder Toukiden 2 will receive the ‘Tenko Costume’ armour, allowing Slayers to dress up as their fluffy partners, as well as the “Sanada Masayuki”, “Sanada Noboyuki”, “Sarutobi Sasuke” and “Chiku Rin In” Mitama to bolster player’s skills and abilities and aid them on their Oni-slaying adventure.

Tekken 7 Launching on June 2

Bandai Namco has announced that they now have a set release date for Tekken 7 and although it might be a few months past their initially announced release window, the developer wanted to avoid launching with a tragically small amount of content like a certain mainstream fighter last year. A Tekken 7 Collectors Edition will include the game, a 12” tall by 18” wide statue that will feature a dynamic pose with Kazuya fly kicking Heihachi in mid-air, a special Steel Book, and the official soundtrack. There will also be a season pass for the game that will give players access to three content packs that will provide new playable characters, new stages, a new game mode, costume packs, and a bonus 35-piece Metallic Costume Pack.

Finally, the pre-order bonus for the game will give players access to the character Eliza, a vampire that debuted in Tekken Revolution and also, those who buy the game on Xbox One, will be given a free copy of Tekken 6 that will be playable via backwards compatibility.

RPG Fantasy Adventure Narborion Saga Coming To Steam in March

RPG Fantasy Adventure Narborion Saga Coming To Steam in March

Epic Fantasy Adventure Makes The Jump From Tablet and Mobile To PC via Steam Greenlight.
Budapest, Hungary, January 24th 2017 – Indie developer Liber Primus Games today announced that its RPG fantasy adventure, Narborion Saga is coming to Steam for PC in March. The PC version will provide an entirely new interpretation of the game totally unique to the PC platform having previously been released on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, iTouch as well as Amazon Kindle and Android on Google Play in December 2014.

Narborian Saga is an epic fantasy story written by Dr Tom Pollak, a professional novelist and former editor of Dragon, the popular Dungeon’s and Dragon’s role playing game magazine. Narborion Saga aims to immerse players into the world of an elaborate RPG fantasy through three major quests set within the same narrative. Players will command the fate of the story’s hero through dynamic non-linear storytelling and rogue-like dungeon exploration. The tale begins with a quest to find and rebuild the chapel of a long-forgotten Goddess and defeat the Master Vampire, Lord Malbor, agent of the God of Death and Magic. The second quest, The God of Orcs, players will need to delve deep into the forces of darkness to uncover a conspiracy of leadership with the mysterious new god of orcs. The third quest, The Swamp of a Thousand Paths tests players even further in an adventure to the Coastless Lake to destroy an ancient Wyrm in search of important artifacts.

“We’re excited to have successfully greenlit Narborion Saga on Steam to a PC audience,” said writer Dr Tom Pollak. “PC allows us to bring an entirely unique version of the series with dynamic rogue-like elements into the narrative to reach a whole new audience of fans”.

The PC version of Narborion Saga for Steam combines three main RPG quests and aims to double the amount of different weapons and armour available to players.Player Vs Player combat through duelling and the ability to learn spells will provide players with the opportunity to develop character abilities. The game will receive an entirely new visual look and chapters will no longer appear one after the other, like in a traditional gamebook, but are broken into small episodes and placed as locations on the game map.

Also unique to the PC version will be Map-based movement: to reach these episodes, players move their character on an overland map and several smaller maps (city maps, swamp, map of the dark forest). Whenever there’s something to do or discover, characters leave the map and enter a gamebook-styled narrative section.

Also as part of the visual upgrade in the move to PC the battle screen no longer looks like the empty tactical grid like it did before, trees, bushes, columns, campfires now embellish the battlefield, these elements, however, can also block the line-of-sight of archers, so movement is more important than ever.

Further details of the PC version will be revealed in February ahead of its launch in late March.
