A new class of six iconic cars from the 1970s and the 1980s joins the already announced 2009 Brawn and 2003 Williams, as well as all of the returning classic cars from last year’s game, to take the total number of historic cars to twenty.

The new F1 2018 reveal, available to view now at www.youtube.com/formula1game,   showcases the cars that will feature in the new 1970s and 1980s class, as well as the cars returning from last year. F1 2018 will release onto PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X and Windows PC via Steam worldwide on August 24, 2018.

These cars include James Hunt’s legendary 1976 championship winning McLaren M23D and Nikki Lauda’s Ferrari 312 T2, both of which featured in the hit movie ‘Rush’ (2013). They are joined by two championship-winning Lotus cars: Emerson Fittipaldi’s 1972 Lotus and Mario Andretti’s 1978 Lotus 79. The 1979 Ferrari 312 T4, as driven by Jody Scheckter as he beat teammate Gilles Villeneuve to the title, and the 1982 McLaren MP4/1B driven by John Watson and Lauda make up the class.

In addition to the six historic cars from the 1970s and 1980s, Codemasters has announced that all 12 classics that featured in F1 2017 will also return for this year’s game. The lineup is completed by the two modern classics from the 2000s (2009 Brawn BGP-001 & 2003 Williams FW25) that are available in the exclusive Headline Edition of F1 2018 at launch, and later as DLC*.

“We are delighted to bring 20 classic cars to F1 2018,” commented Lee Mather, Game Director, F1 2018. “The classics were extremely popular in last year’s game so we naturally wanted to offer our players even more choice this time. The 70s and 80s cars offer a whole new challenge compared to the modern day cars. They look and sound incredible.”

As well as the 20 classic cars, F1 2018 will feature all of the official teams, drivers and circuits from the enthralling 2018 season, including Circuit Paul Ricard and the returning Hockenheimring. The game challenges you to ‘Make Headlines’ in the deepest career mode in the series to date. You will become immersed in the world of F1 more than ever before as you develop your reputation both on and off the track, with time-pressured media interviews that will directly influence your progression in the sport.

Sci-fi Arcade Runner ZIQ Dashes onto PC, and Mac on August 1

Sci-fi Arcade Runner ZIQ Dashes onto PC, and Mac on August 1

PORTLAND, OR – July 12, 2018 – ZIQ, the frenetic sci-fi arcade runner from Midnight Sea and 3D Realms, dodges, dashes, and leaps onto PC and Mac on August 1.

Swarm, an ancient AI turned malevolent and spiteful is waging a war on all life. Having narrowly escaped complete destruction at the hands of organics he both hates and fears them. The AI grows massive, devouring entire planets to fuel and construct his unstoppable armies in an unending vendetta against organic life. Swarm’s armies of nanoform soldiers fair no better. The prototype Z series IQ nanite (ZIQ) is currently being put through countless experiments to improve the soldier’s neural network.

These torturous tests take the form of treacherous obstacle courses that ZIQ must complete. With nanoforms’ ability to endless reconstruct, death offers no respite. With more than 25 obstacles and hundreds of possible combinations he faces a difficult journey. But his ability to switch polarity at any time gives players the edge needed to succeed across seven themed procedurally-generated stages filled with traps such as pools of acid beneath sinking floors, pop-up walls that appear at the last second, and polarized obstacles that can only be survived by quickly swapping polarities.

Crafty players can collect charge cores to complete a sequence for extra points. If these sequences are chained together seven times ZIQ becomes Overcharged and can destroy those pesky polarity traps for additional points by opposing their polarity. Nabbing pickups at just the right time (ranging from good to perfect) affords even more points. Climb up the global leaderboard on the pile of nanites left behind with each excruciating death!

Indifferent to ZIQ’s suffering and deaths, Swarm is as generous with his insults as he is with fresh nanoforms. Voiced by YouTube’s Dash Star, Swarm is not content to simply torture ZIQ with an onslaught of deadly experiments. No no, he has to berate him the whole time, too! The better the player, the crueler Swarm becomes, increasing the difficulty of the stage. Fly through unforgiving stages in abstract sci-fi levels and watch as the dark synth music changes the environment, all while being incessantly heckled.

ZIQ is our first game, and it’s for players like us who love score-chasing and difficult precise reaction-based gameplay,” said Josh Ryan, co-founder of Midnight Sea. “We’re looking forward to the mountain of dead nanites players will amass in order to pass us on the leaderboards.”

ZIQ will be available digitally in English on Steam for $9.99 USD.

To learn more, please visit ZIQ’s official site, or follow the game on Twitter and Facebook.

SEATTLE, July 12, 2018 — En Masse Entertainment, a player-driven publisher focused on delivering great games and great service, today released Phantom’s Keep, the latest monthly content update for their flagship True Action Combat MMO on PC, TERA. Phantom’s Keep includes content for both dungeoneers and open world content fans, with two popular dungeons returning with fresh mechanical and loot updates and the addition of a new type of open world Guardian Legion event: The Dragon Hunt.

As the world of TERA evolves, so should the dungeons that players can tackle! Two previously released dungeons, the popular Dreadspire and Manglemire, are back and better than ever with a fresh set of improvements. Players will once again put their skills to the test as they battle their way up each of Dreadspire’s 10 increasingly difficult floors, earnings a chance at newly introduced Phantom themed armor costume if they clear them all. The deviously mad cyclops Manglemore is back with a fresh bag of tricks ready to keep players guessing in the reintroduced Manglemire dungeon, which will be coming back for limited periods as an event dungeon with the first full weekend taking place July 20- 22. Outwit and overpower Manglemore to earn crafting materials to upgrade gear and take on greater challenges.

Also included are the 2018 Innerwear armor sets Catnap and Catspaw. These are available in game in the Undergarment Box and are purchasable with Goldfinger tokens, an in-game currency that players can get from various means, or through the cash shop. Each method gives players access to one of five different types – Empowering to increase power, Fitness to increase Maximum HP, Fortified to increase Crit Factor, Insulated to increase Endurance, and Performance to increase Maximum MP.

The monthly leveling events kicked off in June continue, with the lancer class being the lucky winner for July. Players who create new or level up older lancers they never reached the level cap with will be rewarded with boxes of in-game goodies at various level milestones. Playniac Brings Its Revolutionary Approach to Card Battling to All Major Platforms this Week Filled with Charm, Humor, Depth, and Multiplayer Appeal

LONDON — Jul 10, 2018 — Award-winning games studio, Playniac, is excited to announce that the robot rebellion has officially begun! The unique card battler, Insane Robots, launches today for PlayStation®4 with Standard ($19.99 USD) and Deluxe ($32.99 USD) editions available for purchase on the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store. The robot rebellion will proceed as planned, also launching for Windows and Mac (via Steam) on July 12, and Xbox One on July 13. For players truly committed to the cause, the Insane Robots — Deluxe Edition includes the base game plus a season pass including six robot pack DLCs upon release.

Initially created as a tabletop prototype with a pile of old business cards, the creators of Insane Robots at Playniac have pulled from both physical and digital design processes, creating a card battling game that captures what players love most about the genre, while removing the elements they hate: namely expensive card expansions, time-consuming customization, farming, and an ever-rising bar that excludes players who don’t purchase more cards. This laser focus freed Playniac to create the perfectly designed battle deck. With only 22 tokens, it is easy to learn and manage, yet full of unexpected turns and strategic depth.

Not to be confused with a collectible card game (CCG), Insane Robots is card battling… HACKED!

Insane Robots finds players leading a robot rebellion through randomly generated survival arenas. Full of fiendish card battles, it’s FTL meets Battle Royale in a card game. Overthrow the malevolent robot despot, The Kernel. Save robotkind in an epic 15+ hour single-player campaign full of peril and twists, as a decaying robot dystopia is revealed.

Master the battle deck and develop strategies in super-accessible multiplayer local and online, as well as single-player robotic skirmishes. Deploy HACKS and GLITCHES in the heat of battle and use your wits to terminate the competition. Battle with over 46 deliciously diverse robots in five hostile environments. Augment devious droids to grow more powerful and trade cutting, robotic insults with opponents along the way.

Key Features Include:

  • This is card battling HACKED with no costly expansions and time-consuming customization
  • Compete in intense local and online ranked 2P multiplayer battles
  • Experience the epic 15+ hour single-player campaign, overthrow the megalomaniacal Kernel and save robotkind
  • Unlock 46 robots and find over 100 augments to boost their abilities
  • Explore your tactical options to survive randomly generated survival arenas
  • Master the 22-token battle deck and define your own style of play
  • A compelling narrative with over 150 branching story events
  • Explore five types of hazardous environment from lush jungles to barren Moonscapes

Developed by Playniac, Insane Robots is rated E for Everyone.

About Insane Robots
The core Insane Robots battle system was originally created in 15 minutes as a tabletop prototype using a pile of old business cards. This was only the start of a substantial physical and digital design process. The Playniac team has been playing and iterating the game since then, running tabletop sessions in their studio and at festivals worldwide during 2013-2014. Development of the digital game started in Jan 2015 and 15 people have worked on it including developer/designer Tom Kail (80 Days, Biome); artists Catherine Unger (Snipperclips, Detecive Grimoire, Haunt the House, The Swindle), Fran Court (Hue, Stealth Inc 2, Frozen Synapse 2, New Art Academy 3DS) and Belinda Leung (Total War, Pokemon Art Academy); illustrator Karen ‘bitmOO’ Teixeira (Twelve a Dozen, Oceans Heart); writers Yasmeen Khan (Fallen London) and James Wallis (The Extraordinary Adventures of Baron Munchausen, Paranoia RPG); and designer/developer Rob Davis (International Racing Squirrels, Cat On Yer Head, Anomaly X). The game’s soundtrack includes tracks by Noise 5000 and legendary French electro producer Kid Loco.

Players will discover an engaging storyline from acclaimed writer Nathan Long (Wasteland 2) featuring beautiful music – composed by Ged Grimes (Simple Minds) and accompanied by some of the world’s top Gaelic singers – that plays directly into the game itself.

The newest chapter in the hugely influential The Bard’s Tale franchise, which first premiered in 1985, The Bard’s Tale IV: Barrows Deep arrives in time for the 30th anniversary of The Bard’s Tale III: Thief of Fate, which was featured in the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s The Art of Video Games exhibit.
