Retro-throwback Blazing Chrome Releases Jaw-Dropping Gameplay Footage Showcasing New Weapons, Levels and Combat
Modern mechanics and fast action on display in this Contra and Metal Slug-inspired platformer
PARIS – JULY 28, 2018 – Developer Joymasher unleashed all-new gameplay footage today of the upcoming Blazing Chrome, a classically inspired but supremely modern take on action platformers. Announced earlier this year, Blazing Chrome has been decorated with several accolades during its first outings at the Game Developer’s Conference and PAX East (http://joymasher.com/blazing-chrome/).
The gorgeous, eye-popping new footage presents the second level of the game, where heroes Mavra and Doyle take on a variety of unique and oppressive enemies like the hovering and damage-dealing Thunderbird and the dangerous bike-Reapers as the heroic duo whiz to glory in their war against militant AI supercomputers. Combining explosive action with a variety of powerful and distinctive weaponry, Blazing Chrome harkens to the golden age of action platformers but harnesses modern-day controls and deep gameplay mechanics.
In Blazing Chrome, an oppressive regime of computers rule the Earth while humans are expendable, lacking power, prestige or status among their machine overlords. When a small group of rebels decide to overthrow their oppressors, it results in heavy casualties and a ton of lock-and-load fast-paced action where scrapping robots and blazing chrome with your powerful weapons is the only thing standing between you and your freedom. Heroes can choose to play as Mavra, a super badass human resistance soldier, or Doyle, the equally groovy and deadly insurgent robot. Either choice will lead you down a path of resistance, culminating in a hellfire of bullets and a revolution that will decide the fate of humanity.

NEW BEHIND-THE-SCENES TRAILER REVEALS HOW ONE OF THE GAME’S MOST FEARSOME ENEMIES WAS MADE INTO A REAL-LIFE, 1O-FOOT-TALL, 1,900-POUND PLAYABLE JUNK ROBOT
LONDON – June 28, 2018 – It’s too late to run, it’s too late to hide! The alien invasion we’ve all been dreading has finally landed. and it comes in the shape of a 10-foot-tall, 1,900-pound junk robot that can be found at a gaming convention near you. “The Screamer” is one of the deadliest enemies in the upcoming motorbike combat racer Steel Rats, and this new trailer reveals how the ingenious Ride Again Workshop in Poland brought this metal monstrosity to life as a playable demo station and junk-infused work of art.
Wreck and ride in Steel Rats, an upcoming 2.5D arcade action title that fuses motorbike combat with death-defying stunt racing gameplay. This heroic biker gang is tasked with stopping an invading horde of alien Junkbots, and now one of the deadliest enemies from the game has been made into a towering robot in real life, which also happens to be one of the most immersive ways to play the actual game.
Built over 90 days from 500 pieces of steel, the giant structure houses five LCD monitors that can be used to play the actual game and has already been on display at EGX Rezzed in London, Pixel Heaven in Poland, and soon at gamescom this August in Cologne, Germany.
Steel Rats is coming to PlayStation® 4, Xbox One and PC later this year and is already lighting up the 2018 awards scene with eight nominations and one win for “Best Gameplay” at the Game Connection Awards, a nomination for “Best Indie Game” at the Digital Dragons Indie Showcase, and winner of “Best Gameplay” at Pixel Heaven in Poland earlier this month.

DEFEND YOUR COFFEE SHOP FROM WAVES OF WOOL-WEARING WARRIORS IN HIPSTER ATTACK
Join the Anti Hipster Movement Using Coffee Bombs, Hipster Traps, and More on PC and Mobile Devices this Summer
June 28, 2018– They are coming, and they’re bringing with them huge twirly moustaches, flannel shirts and their latest mix CD — the hipster invasion starts in Hipster Attack, the upcoming game being created by Televisor. Hipster Attack, coming this summer for PC, iOS and Android, features waves of too-cool-for-you hipsters swarming the local coffee house, and it’s up to you as a buttoned-up office manager to turn the tide by taking ‘em down.
The hipsters are coming with their overpriced coffees and hand woven scarves!
Hipster Attack is a new tower defense game in the vein of a certain plant-themed zombie killer, but instead of undead terrors, you’re battling mindless lemmings that obsess on trends, ironically of course, while trying to look like they’re “deeply” unique. That’s right, much worse than a blood-thirsty zombie, scientists call their kind “hipsters.” Players command a squad of brave and loyal workers from janitors to top-level HR managers in a fight against legions of hipsters who are trying to take over the local coffee shop.
Start out small, using your HR reps to fling job applications at your vinyl-spinning foes, then bolster your forces by adding resource-generating coffee makers (which also fire gobs of coffee beans as an alternate weapon!), sleepy (yet highly efficient) security guards, maids with mauling mops, and more!
Hipster Attack Key Features:
Hipsters of all Shapes and Sizes: From the trendsetter, to poet, to the music master and …. the horrific being known only as flying tofu. The game abounds with a variety of hilarious hipsters to destroy!
Unconventional Weapons and Abilities: Use your HR reps to chuck job applications and wads of paper at the hipsters! Players can power up coffee makers to shoot donuts at incoming enemies, cast the ‘Statue of Hipsterity’ to freeze hipsters in place, or set an ‘urban trap’ filled with stylish sunglasses and hot espresso as bait.
Variety of Characters: Players start out with the junior HR employee, but as they progress through levels, they’ll get a higher level corporate team to take on the hipster onslaught. Utilize security guards, the logistics senior, and even the cleaning lady, to protect the coffee shop.
Built-In Tongue in Cheek: Use tons of different weapons to take down the incoming waves of moustache-twirling, vinyl spinning hipsters. Hit ’em so hard that it knocks their $200 second-hand-store 80’s era denim vests right off! In-game economy is based off of two types of resources: coffee and money. Coffee provides energy and cash is motivation for workers — what more do you need?

Get Ready to Fight for Fortune in World of Tanks: Mercenaries
The next phase of Wargaming’s biggest franchise is available on PlayStation®4 and Xbox now
June 26, 2018 — World of Tanks: Mercenaries, the next evolution of World of Tanks for PlayStation®4 and Xbox, is available globally today. With brand new features including powerful new vehicles, hero Crews, maps, and an explosive story campaign, there’s never been a better time to join the fight. Players can discover the global phenomenon that has attracted over 15 million players on consoles alone and see one of the world’s most popular free-to-play console games in an entirely new light.
Available to download now for PlayStation®4, PlayStation®4 Pro, Xbox One X, Xbox One and Xbox 360, the current release introduces the core concept of Mercenaries to the game, set against the backdrop of a new reality where World War II never ended. Society is fractured, and the world is left tired and hopeless. People are now fighting for themselves and taking up contracts to become soldiers of fortune.
Mercenaries collect parts from captured and abandoned vehicles on the battlefield to create entirely new ones. Bringing together the strengths of some of history’s most powerful war machines, the new Mercenary ‘nation’ and Tech Tree is born. Players will be given the opportunity to earn powerful, never-before-seen Mercenary vehicles for free through the brand new Contract system. Fulfilling certain in-game objectives, such as destroying a number of tanks from a specific nation in Multiplayer battles, can unlock vehicles from the fascinating new armada.
Each vehicle is helmed by a unique Mercenary crew, with their own story and their own playstyle. Want to unleash a hellish storm on your enemies with a Japanese freedom fighter? Storm Hunter is your woman – she rides to battle in the furious heavy tank, Needle. How about pestering enemies with an erratic and aggressive barrage of shells? Crazy Snake is your guy – get him with the mighty light tank, Stubbs! Five vehicles are available at launch, and the Mercenary nation will continue to expand its ranks in the weeks to come.
A brand-new War Stories campaign kickstarts the Mercenaries universe, joining an epic saga of stories set against an alternate history backdrop. ‘The Heist’ is an action-packed tale of espionage, nuclear tensions, and adrenaline-fueled tank battles where you follow a motley crew of Mercenaries who have been hired to set up, execute, and escape from a raid on a secret facility. Their mission, should they choose to accept it, is to steal nuclear material for a client who harbours his own atomic ambitions. However, the crew soon find themselves at the mercy of the combined powers of the United States and the Soviet Union. Journey into danger with The Collector, Don Quixote, and Borscht, and see if they can make it out alive with a paycheck in hand! Players can tackle this story alone (like a true Mercenary), or band together with a friend for co-operative online multiplayer action.
The Mercenaries universe has a far-reaching impact across the entire game. An array of fan-favorite multiplayer battle maps have received total revamps to fit in with the new world. Players can explore, fight through, and discover the strategic intricacies of battlegrounds ravaged by war and time in eight new Mercenary-themed maps.
Even more Mercenaries content will be available in the weeks and months to come, including new additions to the Mercenary Tech Tree, new Crews, new maps, and regular in-game events.
