Sydney, Australia — March 18, 2020 — Today, Ubisoft announced that UNO Flip!, the latest DLC for UNO® will turn the well-known card game rules upside down as it releases on PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X, Windows PC and Nintendo Switchsystem. UNO Flip! is the UNOcard game you know with an exciting new twist: a double-sided deck that gives classic gameplay a competitive edge. 

Switch between the light and the dark sides by playing the brand-new Flip card and get ready to shake things up with unique action cards:

  • Flip Card The Flip card sparks the fun in UNO Flip! as everything inverts once it’s played, including the discard pile, the draw pile and each player’s hand.
  • Draw One Card – When this card is played, the next player must draw one card and miss their turn.
  • Wild Draw Two Card – Play this card to choose the colour that continues to play and make the next player draw two cards and lose their turn.
  • Draw Five Card When this card is played, the next player must draw five cards and miss their turn.
  • Skip Everyone Card – This card can swing games as it skips everyone in line and gives the player who placed it an extra turn.
  • Wild Draw Color Card – Once this card is in play, the player chooses a color for the next player to draw. No matter how many cards it takes, the next player must keep drawing until they find the chosen color, and they also lose their turn.

For those who want to draw even more, UNO Ultimate Edition is bundled with UNO andUNO Flip! and includes UNO Just Dance®, Rayman®, Rabbids® and winter themes. These variations remix the fun in different ways by adding new theme cards that require different strategies for players to win.

In UNO, players take turns matching a card in their hand with the colour or number card shown on the top of the deck. In addition to classic UNO gameplay, the UNO video game will also have a variety of online and social features. Players will have the ability to drop in and out of game as well as connect with family and friends using voice and video chat. To up the ante, players who strategize and stack their way to winning matches can snag a spot on weekly and global leader boards. Additionally, the UNO video game will give players interactive tutorials, in-game tips and the display of house rules before every match.

Sydney, Australia – March 18, 2020 – Today Ubisoft® announced that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, the latest opus from the Award-winning Assassin’s Creed franchise, will have a Free Weekend from March 19 to March 24 AEDT on the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC.  Players can pre-load Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Uplay starting today.

The Free Weekend timings for the ANZ region are:

Sydney, Australia – March 18, 2020 Today, Ubisoft announced that Onyx, the 49th Legend in Brawlhalla® and first new Legend of 2020, is available today, ready to engrave her imprint in the halls of Valhalla with Gauntlets and Cannon.

Onyx escaped from the Infernal Realm, finding herself in a mysterious castle when she finally emerged from the pit. Desperate to hide herself from would-be captors, she soon discovered the secret to her salvation: binding herself to the stone of the castle. Onyx then pledged service to the great fortress. For hundreds of years, Onyx acted as the Guardian and Protector of Castle Batavia until one fateful day when the castle finally fell. In the midst of the legendary Siege of Lions, the commander of the assailants showed her the depravity of the mad king she defended. Onyx knew she had to let the castle fall even if it meant her own return to the Abyss. One of the many Valkyries above the battlefield, seeing her sacrifice, swooped in just ahead of the demons and offered her a place in Valhalla.                                                                              

Onyx is available to purchase for 7200 Gold. Her skins, Guardian Onyx, Project-0NYX and Soulbound Onyx are available to purchase for 140 Mammoth Coins each. On the battlefield, Onyx has six signature attacks:

  • Cannon Signatures
  • Side Signature – After a big forward swing of her tail, Onyx shoots a blast of energy forward.
    • Neutral Signature – Onyx grabs the cannon with her tail and shoots a huge blast of energy diagonally upwards.
    • Down Signature – Onyx quickly turns to stone, then explodes out of the stone armor with her wings, tail, and cannon.
  • Gauntlets Signatures
  • Side Signature – Onyx uses her wings to float about the ground, then swipe her claws into the ground to launch her opponents.
  • Neutral Signature – Onyx uses her wings to fly up diagonally and swipe with her big claw.
    • Down Signature – She slams the ground, making huge shards of rocks come up, then follows up with a big tail swipe.

Onyx releases alongside the Cannon update that brings changes to three attacks:

  • Side Light – This big swing had its movement and arc of the weapon swing both changed.
  • Neutral Light – Instead of thrusting the cannon forward, this attack now has a forward blast that is followed up with a spin and second blast on hit.
  • Down Air – This attack now shoots a blast instead of swinging the weapon. It shoots diagonally downward and splashes off of the ground.

Developed by Blue Mammoth, Brawlhalla is an epic free-to-play platform fighting game that brings players to the fight for glory in the halls of Valhalla. Choosing from over 45 unique characters, players can jump into single-player and co-op modes as well as online and local competitions.
