Maneater Official Soundtrack Emerges from the Depths, Out Now on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Deezer and Bandcamp

Developer and Publisher Tripwire Interactive Bucks Traditional Sales Model Adopting Collaborative, Artist-Friendly Release with Soundtrack Composer

ROSWELL, Ga. – June 25, 2020 Maneater developer and publisher Tripwire Interactive announced today that the official soundtrack for the award-winning action-RPG where you play as a shark (ShARkPG) is out now. Available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes and Deezerwith direct-from-artist purchase on Bandcamp, the official soundtrack for Maneater will take players on an audio journey from the shallow swampy waters of Fawtick Bayou to the depths of the deep blue sea in The Gulf.

In addition, Tripwire Interactive is proud to break ties with traditional official soundtrack sales models, and have adopted a more collaborative perspective to the soundtrack release. That deeper creative partnership bore an agreement where the soundtrack’s creator, Metal Gear Solid V composer Daniel James, will retain full, exclusive rights to sell the official soundtrack after launch and will keep 100% of direct sales revenue, while Tripwire Interactive maintains the rights to use that music in current and further Maneater content and marketing. This invested, collaborative approach to working with artists of all mediums mirrors the driving philosophy behind Tripwire Interactive’s publishing division, Tripwire Presents, and their commitment to supporting independent creatives, offering contract artists, who are normally part of the gig economy, a more vested stake in the projects they take on.

“This arrangement gave Daniel a sense of real ownership for the Maneater soundtrack project,” explains Mark Muraski, Audio Director at Tripwire Interactive. “The level of commitment from Daniel throughout this collaboration far outweighed any revenue Tripwire Interactive would “lose” from sales with a standard sales model. Our company has always paid royalties to composers, but we believe this new model offers an even greater step towards providing contract artists a vested stake in the projects they take on.”

“One of the joys of working with Tripwire is their unfaltering support in the vision of artists and this agreement further proved that point to me,” noted Maneater soundtrack composer Daniel James. ‘We support our artist’ is an easy thing to say, but allowing me to publish my own work and exclusively profit from it goes beyond a generous gesture to a genuine support for me as an artist.”

Maneater is a single player, open-world action-RPG (ShARkPG) where YOU are the shark. Starting as a small bull shark pup you are tasked with surviving the harsh world while eating your way up the ecosystem. To do this, you will explore a large and varied open world encountering diverse enemies — both human and wildlife. Find the right resources and you can grow and evolve far beyond what nature intended, allowing the player to tailor the shark to their play style. This is fortunate, because to get revenge on the cruel fisherman that dismembered you will take evolving into a massive shark, an apex predator of legends. Eat. Explore. Evolve.

With a truly unique premise and never-before-seen approach to the action-RPG genre, Tripwire Interactive looks forward to taking players on a journey through uncharted waters with Maneater.

Maneater is out now for $39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99 MSRP with an ESRB rating of M for Mature, PEGI 18 rating, and USK 16 rating. For more details on Maneater, please visit the official website – and follow the developers at Tripwire Interactive on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch.tv, and Instagram.

FAIRY TAIL’s UNISON RAID WIZARDRY TO SPELLBIND ANIME FANS AND GAMERS ALIKE

Unique Magical Abilities Highlight this JRPG’s Stunning new Team-Up Ability

Hertfordshire, 25th June 2020 – KOEI TECMO Europe and developer GUST Studios are excited to announce the first details to a host of enchanting new magical abilities featured in their otherworldly upcoming JRPG, FAIRY TAIL. The game is set to launch across Europe on the 30th July 2020 for the Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC via Steam®.

FAIRY TAIL’s extraordinary world of magic and dragons is captured in remarkable detail throughout this all-new gaming experience, with a phenomenal focus of delivering the type of magic and mystique fans of the worldwide sensation anime and manga series have been craving. In FAIRY TAIL, characters can now combine in a Unison Raid to unleash their magic spells at once to overpower enemies. This Unison Raid ability originally premiered in the FAIRY TAIL anime and manga, but in the game, all new magic and character team-ups will be featured, introducing exciting new powers from never before seen character combinations.

In addition, a series of Extreme Magic Spells will also be introduced, including Kanna’s Fairy Glitter – which can be activated when magic attacks are combined, Makarov’s “Giant” magic, and even a spell known as Exceed Special, which will help your party out in times of terrible trouble. Each magic spell carries unique elemental properties and affinities, with magic dealing more damage to specific opponents. Characters can then upgrade their magic spells by gaining experience points throughout their journey.

Also, by using magic attacks during battle, the party’s Awakening Gauge increases. When the gauge is fully filled, characters can be Awakened, enabling them to utilise even more powerful magical abilities – and with each character employing different Awakening Modes, players will be able to expand their strategies across a broad range of sorceries and enemies.

FAIRY TAIL is currently in development for the Nintendo Switch™, the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, and Windows PC via Steam®, and is available now for pre-order through select retailers. Digital pre-orders are also live across Europe from today; purchasing any version of the game, physically or digitally, within a limited time from launch will also unlock the Early Purchase Bonus special Miss FAIRY TAIL costume for Erza.

Alternatively, a Digital Deluxe version of FAIRY TAIL has also been revealed, boasting special Grand Magic Games team costumes, a bonus Lacrima set, and a DDX Limited Ryza costume for Lucy!

Dreadlands Adds Two New Support Classes and 13 New Gang Logos

Blackfox Studios today revealed it has added two new support classes for its post-apocalyptic turn based game Dreadlands. Set in a Shared World where players frequently encounter and interact with each other, either in cooperation, or against each other in bloody PvP battles as gangs of misfits and mercenaries in a battle for survival and supremacy. “We’d love to know what players think of these two new classes, not to mention the new community created gang logos we’ve added” Said Peter Nillsson, CEO and Founder of Blackfox Studios.

The new class additions are The Mushroomancer for the Tribe-Kins and the Engineer for the Scrappers!

Dreadlands has also added 13 new gang logos created by their amazing community! https://playdreadlands.com/logo-contest-winner

Mushroomancer
Covered in moss and mushrooms, the Mushroomancers use nature itself to either bestow the All-Mother’s blessing or curse upon the battlefield.

Signature skills:

Healing Spores
Throws an explosive mushroom that will heal any target within the area of effect.

Toxic Spores
Throws a rare strain of death cap that explodes and sends out spores that poison anyone in the proximity.

Engineer
While they would rather spend all day and night inside of their workshops (tinkering away and creating all manner of crazy inventions!) sometimes the Engineers will join their gang for some field-testing and “research”.

Signature skills:

Turret
Deploys their masterpiece (until their next invention, that is) and guardian to wreak havoc on the battlefield.

Tinker
Using their ingenuity and spare scrap to either fix up man or machine with additional protection or repairs.

Now is the perfect time to join us in the Dreadlands as the game is currently on a 20% discount at Steam https://store.steampowered.com/app/1054690/Dreadlands/

Thank you for your continued support and feedback.

See you in the Dreadlands!

Multiplayer party brawler Gerrrms infects the eShop on July 23rd

The human body is a biological battleground

Poland – June 25th, 2020 – Poland-based Indie developer Bugbomb Games is happy to announce that it’s single-celled party brawler, Gerrrms, is launching on Nintendo Switch via the eShop on 23rd July for £8.99 / €9.99 / $9.99. Gerrrms invites you and your friends to engage in microscopic brawls of epic proportions!

Gerrrms is a multiplayer party brawler where players take control of minute germs as they fight for dominance within the human body. Choose from 12 quirky germy candidates and start swinging from hooks inside a corporeal arena to move around as you engage in microbial warfare, competing in seven gutsy game modes, either in single-player or local multiplayer up to 4 players. Naturally, you’ll come in contact with rival germs so it’s important to stand your ground. Practice your sick single-celled moves and utilise power-ups: dropping dirty mines, packing a punch,  launching microscopic missiles, getting gooey to slow your opponents down, exploding in size to push your rivals into surrounding hazards, making lightning-fast dashes or tactically using a pseudopod to instantly switch items with someone else – be it a flag or a bomb.

Gerrrms offers seven game modes including: Deathmatch – Swing your germ around and eliminate your foes by bouncing them onto spikes surrounding the arena. Swing for the win to be the last germ standing! Capture the Flag – With only one flag, four germs and countless obstacles, be sure to hold on for the win. Hot Potato – Bombs 101: don’t be holding it when the timer runs out… Makes a good gift for fellow germs though. Synapse Snatch – The goal is simple: grab the ball and bring it to your coloured corner. Like typical cell behaviour, there’ll be copies. Try to stop the others from doing the same! Gobble – A germ’s gotta eat! Make sure you’re first to the feast when food spawns around the arena. Antibody – Avoid ‘Barney the Antibody’ at all costs. He’s big, mean and out to get you so keep him busy by encouraging your opponents to pay him a visit instead.

Gerrrms has been highly anticipated since its debut at the Big Indie Pitch at White Nights Amsterdam 2020, where it was awarded second place from the twenty games on show. With its two-button control scheme and straightforward gameplay mechanics, Gerrrms is the perfect game to jump into with friends regardless of their skill level. Featuring a huge variety of game modes, a bountiful roster of bacterium and intuitive controls, Gerrrms offers a fun and frantic experience for all as they battle to become the germicide master!

“Since gaining second place at the Big Indie Pitch we couldn’t wait to bring Gerrrms to the Nintendo Switch – It’s multiplayer mechanics and accessibility lends perfectly to the console.” said Robert Kujawa, co-founder for Bugbomb Games. “This will be the first time that germs get good press and we’re happy it will be in such an entertaining manner.”

In Runersia, a continent created by the Rune God, mana rains down endlessly. Eons ago, five Mana Stones were brought forth by this continent and passes through history alongside human nations, eventually embedding into special Brigandine equipment to create Rune Knights – special individuals who can wield the mana power and stones embedded into their armor to cast skills and magic as well as summon and control ancient monsters. Six Brigandine nations of Runersia, each with conflicting ideals beliefs, histories, and faiths, are divided by Brigandines of Justice, Glory, Freedom, Sanctity, and Ego, while the sixth nation exists without Brigandine. The goal is to win battles to expand their nation’s influence until the entire continent of Runersia has been taken over by the player.

Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee coming this August to Australian retail stores!

Time to save Oddworld’s endangered species!

Sydney, AU and Oddworld, CA – June 25, 2020Oddworld Inhabitants Inc. and Microids team up to announce that the physical version of the classic game Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee will be coming to Australian retail stores August 25th for Nintendo Switch.

Currently available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch, Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee is an adventure game with an ecological heart ported to the world’s most innovative and popular handheld, tabletop, and traditional all-in-one gaming console.

The voices for Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee will be available in the following languages: French, German, Spanish and Italian!

Owners of the game will have the possibility to download a free patch for all of the game’s dialogue.

Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee storyline:

The story begins with you playing as a Gabbit named Munch, the hero of the Oddest Oddysee of all. Munch’s luck is about to change – for the worse.

How would you feel if you broke your leg in a scrab trap, were abducted by soulless scientists, had an alien device implanted in your skull, and found out your race had been hunted to extinction?

Due to the rich variety of consumer products derived from the Gabbit species, their legacy has nearly come to its end. For the amphibious Gabbit, there is only one lonely individual that survives. However, it will not be spotted where one might typically find such a Gabbit. This one is currently an entrapped test subject within the horrible animal testing facility known as Vykkers Labs. It is up to you to help guide Munch in his efforts to rescue fellow test creatures. These critters will be forever loyal to Munch and in turn enable his escape.

Once free, Munch teams up with Abe and together they are guided by the wisdom of the Almighty Raisin.  They are informed as to how to accomplish their goals, but in order to do so, they must work together. For Munch, his dream is to bring back his species from the brink of extinction. For Abe, it is to rescue his Mudokon buddies.

You can “switch” between Munch and Abe depending on the situation. Using special psychic powers, cool power-ups, and other special abilities to deliver payback to the Vykkers, Abe and Munch set out to reclaim the last gabbit eggs on Oddworld, which have been packaged in a can of gabbiar.

May Odd Help You!
