After being pushed to the fall it looks like Bandai Namco has now nailed down perhaps the best possible release date for a horror game one can hope for that isn’t Friday the 13th for The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope. Supermassive Games has announced that the game will now be releasing on October 30th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC with the game still featuring the same pre-order bonus “Curator’s Cut” early access that will eventually be released for all players.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope is the second game in The Dark Pictures Anthology. Trapped and isolated in the abandoned town of Little Hope, four college students and their professor must escape the nightmarish apparitions that relentlessly pursue them through an impenetrable fog. A new trailer has been released for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch version of Giraffe and Annika and this time around Atelier Mimina and NIS America are focusing on showing off how gameplay will work in the title as well as introducing some of the characters that players will encounter. This cute looking game will feature rhythm based combat and plenty of exploration as the young girl named Annika awakens from a strange dream, finding herself stranded on “Spica Island” with no memory of how she ended up there.
She quickly meets with a boy named Giraffe, who seems to know her, and is tasked with finding three special star fragments on the island in order to unravel the mysteries of her forgotten memories. While searching for the fragments, Annika meets Lily, the Witch of the Mysterious Forest, who challenges her to a battle! Fortunately, Annika emerges victorious, and uncovers a star fragment. She absorbs the fragment and is suddenly granted remarkable visions. What secrets await this unlikely trio of adventurers on the island of Spica?
Currently Giraffe and Annika is set to be released on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on August 25th in North America and August 28th in Europe though the PC version of the game has already been released.

PUBG MOBILE FURTHERS ANTI-CHEAT MEASURES WITH NEW SPECTATING SYSTEM UPGRADE
The Spectating System is updated with addition of a live review mechanism
LOS ANGELES – July 10, 2020 – Today, PUBG MOBILE reveals a new anti-cheat measure to improve competitiveness and crack down on cheaters. This update builds upon the existing Spectate Mode, added a peer review mechanism. The game server will now determine in real-time if a given player is visible in the view of the game host, using that information to decide whether or not to transmit the location data to spectators.
The updated Spectating System Upgrade aims to achieve two key improvements:
Resolve the use of cheating by manipulating the existing Spectate Mode
Further improve upon Spectate Mode to better identify and eliminate suspicious behaviors elsewhere in the game.
The Spectating System consists of three separate roles, including the host, game server and spectator. Previously, cheaters were able to take advantage of Spectate Mode by using two devices to pinpoint in-game enemy players and gain an unfair advantage. But now, the newly added mechanism can determine that if a player is not visible in the view of the host, it will not transmit the location data of the player to spectators. This upgrade not only eliminates the possibility of the unfair cheating by spectating, but also ensures plug-ins will not be able to modify game data, which strongly guarantees the security and reliability. In addition, this solution does not affect the experience of users who spectate matches normally.
By improving the ability to detect new forms of cheating, PUBG MOBILE is taking more stringent action against cheaters with 10 years ban and continues to enhance the security of the game in all aspects to create a fair gaming environment.
PUBG MOBILE is based on PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, the phenomenon that took the world of interactive entertainment by storm in 2017. Up to 100 players parachute onto a remote island to battle in a winner-takes-all showdown.
