Tuesday, July 28, 2020 — InnoGames, Germany’s leading developer and publisher of online and mobile games, today announces the start of the summer festival in the successful strategy game Forge of Empires. Beginning July 28, 2020, players return to Forge Island where they can complete tasks and spin the wheel to claim exciting prizes. The event runs until August 17, 2020.

After boarding the ship and arriving on Forge Island, the local governor will greet players with swashbuckling stories from the past year and offer them a chance to spin the mysterious “Wheel of Fortune.” To spin the wheel, players will need Doubloons, which the governor and the local pirate Jane are happy to provide in exchange for completing tasks. Each spin of the wheel will also give players a compass which will help guide them across the map on a fantastic voyage. Choice of two editions are now available to pre-order on Steam; deluxe version to include three-day beta access before launch, digital artbook, and a quest to unlock a flotsam of cosmetics for stranded survivalists and monkeys to wear.

Tuesday, 28^th July 2020 – Team17 is today announcing that Steam pre-orders are now open for the upcoming solo and co-operative survival and crafting game, The Survivalists, which is scheduled to launch later this year on PC and consoles. Two editions, a standard and deluxe version, are available to pre-order on Steam, with both editions giving players access to the Monkey Business downloadable content.  

Once completed, the Monkey Business DLC provides players with additional accessories for their stranded humans (the exclusive Straw Hat, The Escapists Guard Hat, and Unicorn Hat) and six additional hats for their monkeys (Top Hat, Lumberjack Hat, Chef Hat, Crown, Hard Hat, and Pirate Hat). The deluxe edition also contains the official soundtrack to the game, a digital artbook, and three days of beta access ahead of the official launch. Those who pre-order the deluxe edition of The Survivalists will receive a 10 percent discount on the full launch price

The Survivalists takes place in The Escapists universe and sees up to four players stranded on a procedurally generated island, where they’re tasked with rescuing, befriending, and training their island’s monkey population while exploring, crafting, and overcoming marauding orc groups in order to survive.
