Warner Bros. had a bit more to show off this weekend besides their new Batman game as they have also revealed that developer Rocksteady Studios has been hard at work at a new game that will be placing players into the shoes of the villains in Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League when it is released in 2022 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League allows players to play either solo or with four people through online co-op and gives players a “third-person shooter action” experience that will feature Suicide Squad members Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark who must take on an impossible mission to save Earth and kill the world’s greatest DC Super Heroes, The Justice League. Restrained with lethal explosives implanted in their heads, all four DC Super-Villains have no choice but to band together and carry out this untenable assignment as part of Amanda Waller’s infamous Task Force X.
Warner Bros. has revealed that their next major game is called Gotham Knights and is being developed by Warner Bros. Games Montreal and will be released sometime in 2021 for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC. The game will be set after the passing of Batman and will instead place players into the boots of Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin as they rise up to protect Gotham City from a new wave of criminals that have swept through the city.
Gotham Knights is a third person action adventure game and will see players facing off against some of the most infamous villains, including Mr. Freeze who has already been confirmed for the game in the gameplay footage that was revealed today and can be found below. Every hero has unique abilities, gear, weapons and a customizable suit. Batgirl wields her melee tonfa; Nightwing uses his signature dual Escrima Sticks; Red Hood has trained to reach peak human strength; and Robin is expertly skilled with his collapsible quarter staff while the game itself can be played solo or online with a friend in two player co-op.
WINDBOUND PRE-ORDER UPDATE; MURAL TRAILER TEASES STORY
Discover the meaning and mystery behind The Forbidden Islands
Sydney, Australia, 22nd August 2020 | In anticipation of Windbound’s launch on 28th August, Deep Silver is unveiling a brand-new Mural Story Trailer and previously unannounced pre-order incentives for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Nintendo Switch™ and Google Stadia.
“Kara”. The mural speaks of her name. It warns of a treacherous path that lies ahead in her heroic voyage through ancient lands and the seas that surround them; fulfilling a destiny that is shrouded in a long-forgotten history with its remnants scattered like whispers throughout the lands.
She must fight through The Forbidden Islands and face its storm to return to her tribe, but it will take time and perseverance to understand its true nature, as unexpected dangers test her resolve and will to survive.
Players who pre-order the game on Microsoft Store, Steam Store or Epic Games Store will receive Kara’s Ancestral Gear bonus items at launch. If players pre-order on Nintendo Switch or purchase the game within two weeks of launch, they will be entitled to redeem Kara’s Ancestral Gear DLC via the Nintendo eShop, until 10th September, 23:59. For Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong customers, the bonus items will be available to download a week after Launch on September 2nd until September 15th 23:59, at no extra cost.
For PlayStation Store and Stadia, players will not be able to pre-order, but will receive Kara’s Ancestral Gear bonus items if they purchase the game within the first two weeks of launch until 10th September, 23:59.
To Kara’s tribe, the exploits of her ancestors are legendary. Hunters, fishers, warriors, poets and philosophers, their stories tell of a people who lived in perfect harmony with the natural world and swam the deep waters in the company of gods. Though the tale of their downfall has been lost to time, their legacy lives on in these artefacts that have endured to this day.
Ancestral Attire
This treasured garment – fit for either a warrior or a priest – has been handed down from generation to generation, and now the time has come for Kara to honour her past.
Ancestral Oar
The Oceanic Gyre was revered in times past, though its true significance is enigmatic to Kara’s people today. Nevertheless, this salt-treated wooded oar remains sturdy and functional, despite its age.
Ancestral Knife
How or where the ancestors acquired these Sea Shards remains a mystery, but few would deny their efficacy. Luminous, durable and impossibly sharp, this blade cuts as well today as it did a hundred years ago.

If there is one thing that’s sure to get people talking about your upcoming game, it’s the news of exclusivity. Sure, that talk might no be all in a positive light since even a mere mention Epic might draw out some polarizing views from the PC crowd. But you know what they say, there’s no such thing as bad publicity. Or maybe there is? Only time will tell.
The third game will complete the reboot trilogy and a newly revealed location will take us all the way to Dartmoor in England to apparently solve a murder. Or cause a few more, as it is expected from Agent 47.
In any case, we’ll have to wait until January 2021 if we want to get our hands on the new entry in the Hitman franchise. Or an extra year if you’re adamant about having all the games in one place. The exclusivity period for Hitman 3 will last a year. But don’t just take my word for it, here it is from the heads at IO Interactive themselves:
HITMAN 3 pre-orders are scheduled to go live later this month and we’re pleased to have an updated line-up of platforms. In January 2021, you’ll be able to play HITMAN 3 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC, where the game will be available exclusively via Epic Games Store for 12 months.
As an independent studio, our partnership with Epic has given us the freedom to create HITMAN 3 exactly as we imagined and self-publish the game to our players directly.
And lastly, to get you hyped up for the upcoming installment in the trilogy, 2016’s Hitman will be free to download and keep from 27th August to 3rd September on Epic’s store.
