KING Art games released a new trailer collecting some of the praise to say thank you to their backers and community who supported the Germany based studio all the way through development. Iron Harvest  is available now via Steam and GOG for PC. A console version and other digital versions for PC will be available at a later date.

Sydney, Australia – September 7th, 2020 – Milestone have announced that RIDE 4, the latest chapter of its beloved franchise dedicated to all two-wheel lovers, will be available on PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X on January 21st, 2021. Players purchasing the PlayStation®4 version of the game, will be able download the PS5™ version at no extra cost until April 30th, 2021, including all DLCs already purchased. While players purchasing the Xbox One version of the game, will be able to automatically download the Xbox Series X version of the game at no additional cost thanks to the Smart Delivery feature.

Both next gen consoles’ specifications are incredibly inviting for a racing franchise like RIDE, where players expect to experience the excitement of riding a 200 HP bike in fast paced and adrenaline-filled races all over the world. Players will be now able to experience a smoother and shining gameplay, at 60FPS with a resolution up to 4K. Revealed at Realms Deep 2020, GRAVEN delves into a gruesome medieval world of deities and monstrosities as a disgraced Priest of the Orthogonal Order. When a heretical member of the Order sacrifices the Priest’s adoptive daughter, the Priest lethally retaliates in a bout of righteous fury. Tried and found guilty by his brothers and now exiled to the burning sands, he closes his eyes for one last prayer, for peace. The Creator speaks to him directly: “You will have to earn your peace.”

Return to previously-plundered areas with new abilities to uncover secrets and entirely new areas. With more than 30 weapons and spells, GRAVEN encourages experimentation. Play solo, with one friend in split-screen co-op, or even in a party of four online for complete arcane chaos.

It has been over nine years since The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya franchise appeared to have came to an end in its final light novel but it looks like that will no longer be the case. The author, Nagaru Tanigawa, and Kadokawa announced that a new novel called The Intuition of Haruhi Suzumiya will be released on November 25th and will tell a brand new story with three short stories collected into one novel.

To go along with this news Yen Press announced that they will be releasing The Intuition of Haruhi Suzumiya digitally in English on the same day it releases in Japan, giving fans a chance to immediately dive into the story with an eventual retail print release planned for sometime in the future. The company went on to say that they will also be re-printing the long out of print light novels of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya under their Yen-On label which will please many as the only physical versions currently available are high-priced used versions. Details as to when to expect these releases will be released sometime in the future.

September 5, 2020 – At Virtual Crunchyroll Expo, the first-ever digital edition of Crunchyroll’s yearly flagship anime convention, Crunchyroll announced that it will partner again with Adult Swim on the production of Shenmue, an original anime series based on the beloved SEGA game franchise. This latest Crunchyroll and Adult Swim Production will stream worldwide outside of Japan and mainland China on Crunchyroll and air on Adult Swim’s Toonami in the domestic United States.

“The first Shenmue video game was released more than twenty years ago and we’re so excited to be working again with Adult Swim to bring this franchise to life through anime,” said Sarah Victor, head of development, Crunchyroll. “We’re eager to show our fans more of this action-packed adventure series as we move through production.”

Shenmue is an anime series with 13 episodes, following the journey of Ryo Hazuki. After he witnesses his father’s murder at the family dojo, Ryo dedicates his life to finding the man responsible – a mission that takes him from the streets of Yokosuka, Japan to the sprawling metropolis of Hong Kong, and beyond. Soon he’ll learn that larger, mystical forces are at play as he trains to become the ultimate martial artist in his quest for revenge.

PUBG MOBILE ANNOUNCES BREAKTHROUGHS AND PROGRESS OF ANTI-CHEATING

The popular mobile game announced the recent new plug-in crackdowns as well as the Security Defense Tech upgrade and Replay Review System

LOS ANGELES – Sept. 4, 2020 – Extending their ongoing efforts to create a safe and fair gaming environment, the anti-hack and operations teams of PUBG MOBILE recently revealed an announcement of a massive wave of new in-game measures to winnow away cheaters. The implementations address several suspicious behaviors, including assorted plug-in software, auto-aim and other hacks, and adds new upgrades to existing preventative systems.

Plug-ins to abuse PUBG MOBILE gameplay that are addressed by the game’s anti-cheat team (the names of the software have been omitted for security reasons):

Plug-Ins Z and M

Since earlier in the year, “Plug-In Z” has allowed cheaters to kill other players immediately after parachuting, causing initial gameplay to be severely altered. In early July, the plug-in was successfully countered, and the corresponding accounts have been penalized as well. In the latest version, the counter has also upgraded to strengthen the defense. Similarly, jail-broken Android devices with Plug-In M, which in the past allowed for unfair behaviors such as “Zero Recoil, “Zero Screen Shake”, “Auto-Aim”, “Vision Expansion”, and “Fog Removal”, have also been identified. Cheaters caught using these plug-ins have received ten-year bans on their accounts.

Auto-Aim

For fairness in weapon aim, in PUBG MOBILE Version 1.0, the anti-cheat team focused on identifying and successfully removing approximately 20 different methods of auto-aim and increased the penalty of auto-aim hack at the same time. Additional methods are continually monitored and addressed through updated detection protocols.

Grass Hack

The ongoing “Grass Hack,” which provides cheaters with an unfair visual advantage in battles, has also been eliminated. Existing security systems that identify this behavior now include increased security for prevention.

In addition to the newly-addressed unfair in-game behaviors, PUBG MOBILE’s in-game security systems have been revamped. The Replay Review System, which will be implemented in the near future, will allow players to help the official Anti-Cheat team identify and report suspicious behavior.

The Version 1.0 security defense tech upgrades also include:

  • Optimized Spectating System – The monitoring scope of enemy’s position visibility via spectating has been optimized and expanded. Cheaters can no longer manipulate the existing Spectate Mode with multiple accounts to gain an unfair visual advantage.
  • Optimized Monitoring Performance – Optimized the impact of security monitoring on performance and reduced the power consumption and lag caused by security monitoring, ensuring a smooth gaming experience while protecting the game’s integrity
  • Miscellaneous Updates – Several other countermeasures have been implemented, including fixed engine security risks, process and tools of security protocols, increased Livik penalty thresholds, chat channel plug-in promotions and a crackdown on Team Death Match cheaters.

The PUBG MOBILE Anti-Cheat team encourages all players to report suspicious behaviors by filing reports with game replays and screenshots by tapping the in-game Report button, contacting customer services through Settings and visiting the Official Report Forum and Anti-Hack Channel.

Tony Hawk Skates In Real Life Warehouse Level Recreated To Celebrate Launch

After months of hype and anticipation, the wait is finally over — Tony Hawk’s™ Pro Skater™ 1 and 2, the videogame let players pull off insane skateboard combos from the comforts of their living room, arrives today. Now fans can be the G.O.A.T with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 on PlayStation® 4, PlayStation® 4 Pro, the family of Xbox One devices from Microsoft, including the Xbox One X, and on PC through the Epic platform.

The faithful remaster of the first two legendary games in the franchise returns in one glorious package, combining all the original levels, OG pro-skaters and tricks, including revert, lip tricks, wall plant with new ways to play, new pro-skaters, new music and more, all in beautiful 4K on supporting systems. And yes, Create-A-Park and Create-A-Skater modes are back! New to Create-A-Park this time around is a robust editor enabling new ways of customization. Players will be able to share parks online with friends and outfit skaters with customization options. New features to the remaster also include even more goals than before, added challenges to amp up gameplay and more.
