Race for the stars as Mario Kart Tour heads to Los Angeles

For the past year, the free-to-start Mario Kart Tour game for smartphones has welcomed thrill-seeking racers to a variety of recognizable locations inspired byfamous real-world spots. This month, everyone’s officially invited to cruise on through the City of Angels in the new Los Angeles Tour event, which is available to play now and runs until Oct. 6 at 10:59 p.m. PT.

While LA may be known for its bumper-to-bumper traffic, you can leave those worries behind as you whip your in-game kart past Santa Monica Pier. Or get some true circuit training and flex your skills when you rip through Muscle Beach. With enough practice and luck, you can turn the home of the stars into the home of the Grand Stars.

During the first week of the Los Angeles Tour, you’ll find Mario (Sunshine), the Surf Sailer kart and the Starchute glider in the spotlight for some true fun under the sun. The special item for Mario (Sunshine) is the Giant Banana. Finding one could finally be your big break, so deploy it strategically to help you peel away from the pack.

In week two of the Los Angeles Tour, you might want to bring your kongas to the beachside drum circle. You’ll find Dixie Kong, Funky Kong, the Bolt Buggy kart, the Offroader kart, the Pink Flower glider and the Banana Wingtip glider all in the spotlight. Dixie Kong’s special item for the week is Triple Bananas. That’s a whole throng of Kongs and a bunch of bananas!

If you’re a first-time racer or it’s been awhile since you’ve drifted around some corners, Mario Kart Tour has continued to add features since its launch, so it’s a great time to join the fun. The game now features real-time multiplayer with your friends, people nearby or competitors around the world. Taipei – September 23, 2020  – Kingston Technology, a world leader in memory products and technology solutions, today announced it has been ranked the top third-party DRAM module supplier in the world, according to the latest rankings by revenue from analyst firm TrendForce (formerly DRAMeXchange). Kingston retains its number 1 position with an estimated 80.33% market share on $12.9B (USD) revenue, according to TrendForce. The rankings for 2019 mark the 17th consecutive year that TrendForce has placed Kingston in the top spot.

TrendForce states DRAM prices were lower in 2019 due to an ample supply combined with weaker demand from both the server and client sides, thus resulting in less revenue for many module makers. Kingston was one of the few manufacturers to go against this trend and see market share grow, according to the analysts. Kingston has maintained its competitive advantage by working closely with its partners and customers to remain flexible while adapting to their ever-changing needs as well as market conditions.

New Wafer Lithography Leads to Higher-Density DRAM for DDR4

As the industry transitions from current memory modules built using 8Gbit density DDR4 chips to 16Gbit, Kingston stands ready to assist customers and address their concerns with the compatibility of these new higher-density chips on legacy platforms. Ambiorix’s unique ability is the “King of the Eburones,” where he gains additional Culture based on unit cost when a non-civilian is trained. Melee, anti-cavalry, and ranged units receive bonus Combat Strength for every adjacent combat unit. The Gaesatae unique unit replaces the Warrior; it is more expensive to train but receives additional Combat Strength when fighting stronger units and district defenses. His unique district is the Oppidum, which is cheaper and available earlier than the Industrial Zone and unlocks the Apprenticeship technology when constructed. It is defensible, offering its own ranged attack, and receives a major adjacency bonus from Quarries and strategic resources.

Content is being delivered on a bimonthly basis until March 2021, and the third DLC – Byzantium & Gaul Pack – will launch on September 24, 2020 for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC, Mac and Linux.

Season Pass level progression will also see players in for the opportunity to unlock amazing rewards.

And for those who are looking to take their World of Tanks: Hot Wheels™ experience to the next level – there will be a World of Tanks Hot Wheels Ultimate pass available, featuring the colossal Bone Shaker™ TS-5 tank and crew – as well as a huge array of other rewards and tanks.
