Dark Psychological Thriller Martha Is Dead Reveals Brand New E3 Trailer ‘Tale of The White Lady’

Wired Productions and LKA Lift the Lid on Revolutionary Soundtrack Recorded Underwater

Watford, UK, June 12th, 2021: ‘The White Lady’, the spirit of a murdered, tortured soul whose one goal is to seek a moment’s relief by dragging others into the water to suffer the same fate…

Video games publisher, Wired Productions and leading Italian studio, LKA, today lift the lid on a brand new trailer for forthcoming first-person psychological thriller Martha Is Dead, titled ‘Tale of The White Lady’.

This story trailer depicts the beautiful relationship between Giulia and her Nanny, and the loving way which the child cajoles the nanny in order to tell the tale of ‘The White Lady’ – a drowned maiden, murdered in a fit of jealousy by her lover who now stalks the shores of the lake where she suffered in her final moments, looking to drag others towards a similar demise.

What makes this trailer even more chilling: This particularly savage story is based on a real-life Italian legend, passed down from one generation to the next in much the same manner as in the trailer.

Serving as the latest reveal ahead of the 2021 launch of Martha Is Dead on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, Wired Productions and LKA also revealed play will be accompanied by a progressive, haunting soundtrack, in part from Danish group Between Music, with music created by performers playing custom made instruments whilst the band is completely submerged underwater – a suitably sodden setting for Martha Is Dead. To sample the sonic delights of a live performance, watch the video online:

It’s a process that delivers a powerful yet dark composition and a truly unique score – one bolstered further by the appearance of talented Italian composer Francesca Messina – AKA Femina Ridens – whose tracks feature a vintage style that compliments Martha Is Dead’s 1940s setting – and Aseptic Void, who also composed for the critically acclaimed The Town of Light.

We’re excited to be able to reveal more and more of Martha is Dead as we head towards launch, with this latest trailer helping to set the tone for what’s to come,” offers Luca Dalco, Founder & Director, LKA. “The soundtrack is also incredibly important when it comes to supporting play with the right atmosphere, and we can’t wait for gamers to engage all of their senses with play.”

Built in Unreal® Engine 4, Martha is Dead combines real-world locations, working in links to historical events, superstition, folklore, and deep psychological distress.

Martha is Dead will launch in 2021 for PC, PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5 and the Xbox family of devices. Players can add the title to their Steam Wishlist here.

Far Cry 6 Season Pass Trailer Highlights Playable Past Villains

Ubisoft continued their E3 presentation by spending quite a bit of time with Far Cry 6. The company revealed a new trailer focusing heavily on the game’s villain Anon Castillo with no gameplay footage and also focused on perhaps the most interesting aspect, the game’s Season Pass. Anton Castillo rose to power on the promise of restoring the once-prosperous island nation of Yara back to its former glory and plans to forge his vision of paradise by any means necessary. With his 13-year-old son Diego reluctantly following in his father’s bloody footsteps, Antón has the future of Yara clenched tightly in his hands.

In Far Cry 6, players will engage Anton’s regime through lush jungles and decaying cities. As for the season pass, it appears that players will eventually have the ability to play as past villains from Far Cry 3, 4, and 5 in brand new story segments. The brand new footage can be found below while the game itself is currently set to be released on October 7th for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Announces A Second Year of Content

In the meantime, players can look forward to The Siege of Paris expansion and Discovery Tour: Viking Age

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – June 13, 2021 – Today, during Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft announced that for the very first time in the franchise history, Assassin’s Creed® Valhalla will offer a second year of content. With Assassin’s Creed Valhalla already well into its first year of post-launch, players can currently jump into the recently-released Wrath of the Druids expansion, and will soon be able to dive into the second expansion, The Siege of Paris, as well as to learn more about the history of the time period in Discovery Tour: Viking Age.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s second expansion, The Siege of Paris, will release later this summer. Set in Francia, this new adventure will set Eivor on a dangerous path full of gripping questlines across the French countryside, towards one of the most infamous conquest battles in Viking history. Players will get their hands on new weapons, abilities, gear and skills, to take on new enemy types. The Siege of Paris will also mark the return of the Black Box Infiltration missions, where players will have full liberty in choosing the best way to eliminate a designated target. The Siege of Paris will be available for all Season Pass** owners or as a separate purchase for AUD$39.95 by all owners of the main game.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will also continue adding free events and updates for all players, including the Basim Outfit, already available in Ubisoft Connect, and the much-anticipated one-handed sword in the coming weeks.

This fall, all Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s owners will also have the chance to enjoy Discovery Tour: Viking Age for free. Following Discovery Tour: Ancient Egypt and Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece’s line, the brand-new chapter of the Assassin’s Creed educational expansion will shed a light on the Viking era and allow players to discover more about the history and traditions of the time. Designed with historians and archeologists, this non-violent interactive learning experience will let players embody different characters of the time and take part in their big and small adventures set in ninth-century Norway and England. The standalone version of the Discovery Tour: Viking Age will be available via Ubisoft Connect.

Lastly, the Ubisoft Forward segment closed on an enigmatic image of a mysterious portal set in a dramatic landscape. Eivor’s journey is not over, but players will have to be on the look out to discover where it leads.

In addition, Ubisoft reveals the new Animus Collection with the Master Assassin Ezio figurine, inspired from Assassin’s Creed® Brotherhood and depicted in an iconic pose with his dual hidden blade. To be released in September, all fans can pre-order this new product visiting the Ubisoft Store
