Ubisoft Reveals Rocksmith+, the Future of Interactive Music Learning

Experience unlimited access to guitar learning in Rocksmith+

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — June 13, 2021 — Today at Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft announced Rocksmith+, a new subscription service that teaches players how to play guitar and bass through their favourite songs. Building upon the award-winning Rocksmith method, which has helped almost five million people learn how to play guitar, Rocksmith+ will release Winter 2021 for Windows PC exclusively through the Ubisoft Store.* Rocksmith+ will also launch on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®5, Xbox One and PlayStation®4 in Spring 2021. Rocksmith+ will be available on iOS and Android devices at a later date.

Compatible with acoustic, electric, and bass guitars, Rocksmith+ will start with thousands of songs and grow to millions more in the future, within genres spanning from rock, classic, indie, alternative, hip-hop, pop, metal, country, Latin, R&B, and more. At launch, Rocksmith+ will have a variety of authentic arrangements that represent songs the way the artists originally played them, and all songs in the library will be playable with chord charts for players to hum and strum to.

Users can take advantage of an entire suite of new and improved practice tools including Riff Repeater, wherein they can directly practice specific riffs in their favourite songs; and Adaptive Difficulty, wherein Rocksmith+ dynamically adjusts to a guitar player’s skill level while they play. These tools are designed to give guitar players control over their learning journey. Rocksmith+ will be available for AUD$24.95 AUD for a 1-month subscription, AUD$59.95 for a 3-month subscription, and AUD$149.95 for a 12-month subscription.

Developed by Ubisoft San Francisco, the team behind Rocksmith® that provided guitar learning for over 10 years, Rocksmith+ is the only subscription service that offers interactive music learning using official song masters and powerful real-time feedback.** 95% of Rocksmith guitar players have improved their skills, and Rocksmith+ builds on the proven method with new songs, learning modes, and practice tools to be added for years to come.*** In addition to improving their mechanics, users will also receive access to free online videos to learn about proper technique, music theory, gear, instrument care, and more.

In addition, users can play with an acoustic guitar or an electric instrument and amp using the Rocksmith+ Connect mobile app, which offers phone-as-mic technology. By pairing their mobile device with their PC or console, the on-board microphone can track their guitar – allowing them to play with no additional gear needed. Rocksmith+ is also compatible with consoles using the Rocksmith Real Tone Cable. For PC users, Rocksmith+ is compatible using the Real Tone Cable or existing guitar interfaces on electric and acoustic-electric instruments.**** Rocksmith+ is also partnered with Gibson, Epiphone, Kramer, Ibanez, Ernie Ball, Ernie Ball Music Man, Marshall, Orange, and Mesa/Boogie.

Rocksmith Workshop, a new user-generated content system that allows users to add arrangements from a list of pre-licensed songs to the library, will bring the music community to the heart of Rocksmith+. For the first time, the Rocksmith community has more control over adding the arrangements they want when they want. The publicly accessible Rocksmith Workshop will let users create all aspects of a song from the transcription to the tones. Community arrangements are peer-reviewed for quality and available to all users.

Rocksmith+ has world premiere learning tools that takes the guesswork out of music mastery. But even the world’s premier music learning software needs to be fine-tuned for the millions of songs coming down the road. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction Launches on September 16

The next mainline instalment in the Rainbow Six franchise, Extraction is a brand-new tactical co-op experience.

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — June 13, 2021 — Today at Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft® announced that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, the next mainline instalment in the Rainbow Six franchise, will release worldwide with full cross-play, cross-save, and cross-progression on September 16, 2021 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Amazon Luna, Stadia, the Ubisoft Store on Windows PC and Ubisoft+, the Ubisoft subscription service.*

Formerly titled Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine, Rainbow Six Extraction is being led by a seasoned team of veterans at Ubisoft Montreal.** Inspired by the long-standing legacy of co-op Rainbow Six shooters, Rainbow Six Extraction is a brand new tactical co-op PvE experience bringing operators together to fight against a mysterious threat.

Three years ago, in the quaint town of Truth and Consequences, a meteor crashed down on a New Mexico community, releasing an unknown parasite. A handful of operators from Rainbow Six Siege seemingly contained the initial outbreak – until the Chimera parasite reappeared in multiple sites across the U.S., deadlier than ever. To take on this threat, the Rainbow Exogenous Analysis & Containment Team (REACT), a highly specialized and outfitted organisation was formed by Eliza “Ash” Cohen, Dr. Elena “Mira” Álvarez, and Jordan “Thermite” Trace.

In Extraction, players will join the REACT Team and assemble a one to three-player squad of well-known and beloved operators from Rainbow Six Siege to confront mysterious alien creatures known as the Archæans. After completing each objective, players must make a difficult choice: extract and collect their rewards or push deeper to face tougher enemies and earn greater rewards in a chaotic and intense experience. This gamble could mean temporarily losing one of their operators who are caught Missing in Action (MIA) within the containment zone. To recover an MIA operator, players must squad up and risk it all in a rescue mission.

Choose from 18 Rainbow Six operators, each equipped with specialised REACT gear, weapons, gadgets, and abilities to learn and master, lending to highly replayable and immersive gameplay. The uniqueness and different playstyle of each operator allows for limitless options in customising a roster; striking the right balance on each REACT squad will be the key to success. Deploying into unpredictable containment zones with strategic loadouts will be integral to gathering the intel needed to stop the alien threat.

Set in four regions across the U.S., containment zones are aggressively dominated by the parasite, creating an evolving and unstable ecosystem within their walls. With a selection of 12 uniquely designed maps featuring plenty of challenges, infestations, and enemies who increase in difficulty, the dangers are constantly evolving. The deeper players go into each map, the richer the rewards, but greater the risks their squad will face.

Players who own and play both Rainbow Six Siege and Rainbow Six Extraction will instantly unlock the entire roster of 18 operators in Rainbow Six Siege, and players will receive the elite United Front cosmetic bundles in both games.*** The Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition of Rainbow Six Extraction are available for pre-order now. Players who pre-order Rainbow Six Extraction will receive the Orbital Decay bundle with exclusive Epic items including the Orion uniform and headgear for Finka and Lion, the universal Vaporised weapon skin and the Crashlander charm. Rainbow Six Extraction will also include live service support.

Serial Cleaners’ Bob Hides, Slides On Blood He Later Vacuums

Cracow, June 12th, 2021 — Draw Distance, the Polish studio behind Serial Cleaner, Ritual: Crown of Horns, Halls of Horror for Mixer, as well as games set in the World of Darkness Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York, and Vampire: The Masquerade – Shadows of New York has just launched a new Serial Cleaners trailer at Guerrilla Collective.

Serial Cleaners, a sequel to Serial Cleaner, is a single-player stealth action crime story in which you alternate between playing four eccentric mob cleaners taking on the bloodiest jobs the carefree 1990s had to offer. If you remember the nineties differently, their dirty work is the reason why.

The new gameplay trailer, showcased during Guerrilla Collective revisits the Fargo-inspired Cabin map. This time, we can not only see the 90s inspirations along with the era’s music, but also the core of Serial Cleaners gameplay: stealth. The original protagonist, Bob C. Leaner makes a comeback, slides on blood which he later vacuums, carries and hides bodies as well as evidence.

The sequel takes place over 20 years after the original game, in 90s New York City, so players can get ready for a healthy dose of nostalgia conveyed via Basquiat-style graphic design, as well as the era-inspired music, and a tongue-in-cheek story.

Serial Cleaners will be available on Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, and consoles later this year.

Players can now wishlist the game on PC platforms:

Steam
Epic
GOG

Get hands-on with mecha brawler combat starting June 16 during Steam Next Fest

STOCKHOLM – June 12, 2021 – One year after announcing Wolfstride at the inaugural Guerrilla Collective, developer OTA IMON Studios and publisher Raw Fury have revealed the game’s combat system in an exciting new gameplay trailer. What’s more, you can experience this action for yourself with the new PC demo available on Wednesday, June 16, during Steam Next Fest. The demo takes you to the arena to test both your strength and skills in two replayable matchups, with the chance to upgrade your mecha COWBOY between each turn-based battle.

Wolfstride is a role-playing game about three former partners in crime facing a turning point. When they inherit a legendary mecha called COWBOY, they reunite to find a new path together as a team in the most popular sport on the planet: GIANT MECHA BATTLES. They arrive at the worldwide championships with their fate and the future of the world hanging in the balance.

Each member of the team lends their unique experience to the team. Outwit the best mecha opponents from around the world in turn-based combat. Repair and upgrade COWBOY between matches to gain a strategic advantage. And explore the city to find odd jobs to earn the cash to pay for it all.
