The Critically Acclaimed title out-performs all goals for its first few weeks of sale!

Moscow, Russia, September 10, 2021 — Owlcat Games and META Publishing announced with pride that Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous has surpassed 250,000 copies on PC alone during its first week of sales. As well as seeing more than double the number of concurrent players during the first weekend enjoying the game compared to Kingmaker launch! But it’s not just all exciting numbers, players and press alike have given overwhelmingly positive feedback. 

“For a long time, we’ve been working extremely hard on making Wrath of the Righteous everything we originally conceived at the start of development and even more after the phenomenal support during the Kickstarter campaign. We wanted this to be a landmark moment for CRPG fans, pushing the genre into new spaces, with mechanics that tried to give players an experience that brings the flexibility and freedom found in Tabletop adventures,” says Creative Director Alexander Mishulin. “We’re glad that players and critics are really feeling that we’ve given them that and even more. As with every video game launch, there are still issues to solve. Owlcat is already working around the clock to resolve these and give players a truly friction-free experience. With 3 patches already released and more coming every week, the team isn’t slowing down now that the game is live.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is now available on all major digital stores including Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG for $49.99. It will also be available on consoles for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions slated for release on March 1st, 2022. Prime Matter, Koch Media’s premium gaming label, will distribute the physical console copies.

Friday, September 10, 2021 — From today until September 29th, the fantasy city-builder game Elvenar gets ready to celebrate this year’s Autumn Zodiac event. 

Players will meet Chyou the halfling, a trained monk and a worshiper of Kirit and Karak who will guide the players’ path among the local halfling artists. Together with her, players will celebrate the zodiacs and await the arrival of another magical evolving bear: the Red Panda Master. 

By following the questline and fulfilling tasks for Chyou, players will be rewarded with Golden Keys which they can use to open Spheres containing all kinds of prizes. Each Sphere players open will also reward them with a small amount of Star Dust. It gathers in their progress bar towards the special Grand Prizes, including Evolution Artifacts for the Red Panda Master, this year’s new bear. 

The Red Panda Master will provide players with population, culture and other bonuses depending on their chapter and its evolution stage.  

Also new this year is the Royal Prize Pass. This is a special Premium option which players can purchase to get extra rewards with each Grand Prize acquired in this event. The Royal Prize lane becomes available with purchasing the Royal Prize Pass, which can be purchased at any time during the event. Once unlocked, for every 20 Stardust collected, players can simultaneously receive one of the Royal Prizes, containing even more rewards for their city.

First look at God of War Ragnarök

The team at Santa Monica Studios has unveiled the first look at the highly anticipated sequel that picks up a few years after the events of God of War (2018). The freezing winds of Fimbulwinter have come to Midgard, making survival for Kratos, Atreus, and Mimir in the Norse wilds even more challenging than before. 

While the last game built an enormous amount of trust and understanding between father and son, there is still a great deal of complexity in their interactions – especially after the revelation of Atreus’ Giant heritage and the hidden prophecy only Kratos saw.  Together, Kratos and Atreus will have to make a choice about which path they will take. Whatever they choose will define the fate of all those living in the Nine Realms as God of War Ragnarök approaches.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Marvel’s Wolverine revealed 

Veteran developer Insomniac Games has created two new exciting titles for PlayStation 5 consoles. Firstly, players will continue the journey of both Peter Parker and Miles Morales in their most epic single-player adventure yet with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, coming exclusively to PlayStation 5 consoles in 2023.

Today’s game footage trailer is merely just a glimpse at what’s in store in terms of the new abilities our heroes will acquire, suits they will wear (more on that some other time), and the villains that will try to hunt them down. Speaking of villains, make sure to check out the trailer to see who’s coming to Spidey 2!

Another exciting announcement was the first glimpse of Marvel’s Wolverine. Marvel’s Wolverine is a standalone game being directed by Brian Horton (creative director) and Cameron Christian (game director), who recently led the creative efforts on Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

Gran Turismo 7 arrives on PS5 and PS4 March 4

Gran Turismo7 is both the culmination of the series which answers the expectations of Gran Turismo fans throughout the years, and at the same time it is a title that marks a beginning of a difficult mission to contain the full breadth of car culture from the past into a single video game.  Even more exciting is the firm release date, coming March 4, 2022!
