For Honor’s Year 5 Season 4 Frozen Shores Launches with Frostwind Celebrations Event Today

In Year 5 Season 4 Frozen Shores, For Honor’s factions recover from their losses caused by the perils of Tempest, until mysterious ships show up at the docks. Hertfordshire, 9th December 2021 – KOEI TECMO Europe is excited to announce the long-awaited release of Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX, launching digitally today on the Nintendo Switch™, Windows PC via Steam®, and iPhone®, iPad®, and iPod touch® via the App Store®. A launch trailer was also released to celebrate the return of the series, with a special message from the Monster Rancher series Executive Producer, Kazumi Fujita.
In celebration of the series 25th anniversary, Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX bundles together the fan-favourite Monster Rancher 1 (1997) and Monster Rancher 2 (1999) and brings them to modern hardware for the first time. The beloved titles allow players to birth monsters from their favourite music, using an online database to choose the album they desire, with each album birthing its own monster. Players will then raise their monsters and train them to compete against other eccentric creatures in combat and tournaments – each with their own attributes and abilities – allowing players to find the perfect companion to secure their victory!
Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX features the complete versions of both games, with the inclusion of content that never originally appeared in the original Western launch, such as additional save slots, Freeze slots, Monster Hall of Fame slots, and 27 additional monsters. Update 5 ‘Gathering of the Gods’, Fresh Blood Arrives to Help Save the Multiverse
Denver, CO – December 9th, 2021 – Independent developer Room C Games in co-production with Croteam and in partnership with indie publisher Versus Evil today announced the latest major content update for their rogue-lite RPG game The Hand of Merlin before the game leaves Steam Early Access in early 2022.
Titled ‘Gathering of the Gods’ the latest update introduces new features to the game including two new Guardians to aid players in their quest to stop the Cataclysm: Oberon and Atlantes.
As the king of faeries, Oberon communicates only through an emissary, but watches the battlefield closely. Treating the flora and fauna well gains his favor and raises the player’s Faerie Reputation. The value of which can produce either a blessing or a curse upon the party later on.
Atlantes is a cosmic being like Merlin himself, but one who is not particularly bothered by the fall of each world. Amused by Merlin’s desire to save worlds, Atlantes provides aid to the party, but conceals his true motivations.
Each Guardian bestows a unique benefit upon the party, and gives players access to an array of powerful spells to thwart the invading abominations.
The Gathering of the Gods update also adds a brand new Nourishment system, an upgrade to the current Supplies resource. Players will now get stacking buffs (or de-buffs) based on how long they travel well-stocked or poorly stocked. These attributes will affect Heroes’ combat stats in a significant way!
New Relics are also introduced in the update along with sound effects for encounter events and improved visual effects for several existing spells. Since entering Early Access in May 2021, The Hand of Merlin has had five major updates on its path to 1.0. To further spread the spirit of giving, Wargaming will offer charity bundles for sale to both PC and console players, with all proceeds going to global humanitarian organization Save the Children. Finally, upon completion of the livestream, Wargaming will match the funds that have been raised by viewers with a donation of its own.
From Saturday 11th December, 4am AEDT, players and fans can tune into the livestream, donate, and earn in-game rewards. All proceeds of the entire livestream will be dedicated to Save the Children, which works every day in more than 100 countries to give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. This is part of a continued partnership with the charity, which has seen Wargaming’s community raise over USD$88,000 in previous years.
