• Headset-based Controller Tracking: With inside-out tracking, PS VR2 tracks you and your controller through integrated cameras embedded in the VR headset. Your movements and the direction you look at are reflected in-game without the need for an external camera.
• New Sensory Features: PS VR2 Sense Technology combines eye tracking, headset feedback, 3D Audio, and the innovative PS VR2 Sense controller to create an incredibly deep feeling of immersion. Headset feedback is a new sensory feature that amplifies the sensations of in-game actions from the player. It’s created by a single built-in motor with vibrations that add an intelligent tactile element, bringing players closer to the gameplay experience. For example, gamers can feel a character’s elevated pulse during tense moments, the rush of objects passing close to the character’s head, or the thrust of a vehicle as the character speeds forward. All of these advancements in PlayStation VR2, combined with the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers from the PS VR2 Sense controllers, enable players to feel and interact with games in a much more visceral way. Explore two different skill trees in Dying Light 2 Stay Human, each full of new abilities

Wrocław, Poland — 6 January 2022 — With less than a month before the release of Dying Light 2 Stay Human, Techland has shared new information for fans: Two skill trees will be available for main protagonist Aiden Caldwell’s development, each filled with new parkour and combat skills, and these skill trees can be advanced through a new approach to character progression.

While performing specific in-game actions, players will earn experience points in one of two areas—parkour and combat. Traversal actions like climbing, jumping, or vaulting will be rewarded by progressing a parkour-centric experience bar. The more complex and skillful movements players perform, the more experience will be gained. Likewise, to earn combat-centric experience points, players should take the fight straight to enemies and perform combination attacks to net even more experience points.

Completing quests can quickly fill both experience bars, and players shouldn’t neglect the new abilities they pick up along the way, which can be used in concert for bigger experience gains. For example, with the right timing, the combat skill Grapple can throw enemies to the side using their own momentum. Follow up with Stomp for an opportunity to instantly kill enemies you’ve just thrown to the ground. Many such inventive combinations exist for players to incorporate in their playstyles. Of course, these combos extend to parkour skills, as well. Dart temporarily increases your running speed, and combined with Double Jump, a Skill that helps you jump higher while vaulting obstacles, all sorts of unreachable places open up.

Ubisoft Bringing Ubisoft+ to Xbox and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six ^® Extraction to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass Members

Sydney, January 6, 2022 – Today, Ubisoft announced that it will bring Ubisoft+, its subscription service, to the Xbox platform in the future. The company also shared that it will offer Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six ^® Extraction, a tactical co-op FPS that brings a whole new squad-based PvE experience to the millions of players in the Rainbow Six universe and beyond, to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass members when the game launches on January 20.

Ubisoft+ brings players more than 100 Ubisoft games – including the latest releases, DLC and classic games – and rewards which include customisation items, boosters and other in-game perks. Ubisoft+ is currently available on PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna, and soon will be available on Xbox.

Rainbow Six Extraction builds on all the tactical gameplay elements introduced in Rainbow Six Siege. Ubisoft shared that Siege also will be available for PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members starting January 20 and will see its availability on Xbox Game Pass extended.
