Ready Your Weapon! Monster Hunter Rise Lands on PC Today

The award winning and top-selling Monster Hunter™ series brings the critically acclaimed Monster Hunter Rise™ to PC today with a global launch on Steam. The PC release of Monster Hunter Rise offers features including 4K resolution support, advanced graphics options, voice chat, ultra-wide monitor support, and more. Following its highly regarded Nintendo Switch™ release earlier this year, Monster Hunter Rise transports players to the colorful Kamura Village as it prepares to defend against the looming Rampage. At launch, hunters can tackle all previously released post-launch and collaboration content up to the Nintendo Switch 3.6.1 update solo, or with up to three other players in cooperative online play!

To overcome the looming Rampage, the hunters of Kamura must make use of the new Palamute hunting companions and “Wirebug” grappling mechanic as they engage in the series’ trademark action-packed combat. The “Canyne” Palamute companions join the series favorite “Felyne” Palicoes in assisting players while out on a hunt. In addition to lending their considerable offensive capabilities to any fight, Palamutes can also carry hunters on their back to swiftly chase any fleeing monsters and traverse the open maps. Wirebugs, on the other hand, allow hunters to nimbly grapple in any direction during a hunt, and can be paired with each of the 14 weapon types to create unique “Silkbind Attacks.” Damaging monsters with these new attacks will make them susceptible to the new “Wyvern riding” technique, which allows players to temporarily take control of a monster and yields spectacular battle sequences during a hunt.

When players aren’t exploring the five expansive locales, such as the Shrine Ruins, Flooded Forest, and Sandy Plains, they can also battle hordes of massive monsters in the new Rampage quest type introduced in Monster Hunter Rise. In these quests, hunters must work with the citizens of Kamura Village to prepare their defensive installations and guard the Stronghold barricades against waves of invading monsters, including any powerful Apex monsters that may arrive during the siege. In addition to the new game mode, Monster Hunter Rise also introduces new “Switch Skills” for each weapon as hunters progress through the game. By swapping out these new skills with existing Silkbind or regular attacks, players can create all new combos and strategies that match their preferred playstyle.

Monster Hunter Rise will also include new features to improve joining up with others for hunts. Dynamic difficulty scaling for multiplayer automatically adjusts as new players enter and exit a hub quest. The new “Hunter Connect” feature will allow players to create tags with their objectives and playstyle, search for other players with the same tags or invite friends to any tags they have joined. Upon completing a quest in multiplayer, players will also be able to like the other hunters in their party, and increase the likelihood of finding each other in matchmaking.

The PC release of Monster Hunter Rise includes a robust roster of monsters to overcome, including all content up to the Nintendo Switch 3.6.1 update. These free title updates featured multiple additional monsters including the returning fan-favorites Chameleos and Valstrax, in addition to collaboration content with iconic games such as Okami, Ghosts ‘n Goblins, and more. Future post-launch contents will be synched with the Nintendo Switch version at the end of February 2022. Additionally, the massive Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak™ paid expansion will be arriving for players on both Nintendo Switch and PC in Summer 2022. More information regarding Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will be available at a later date. In addition to the Standard Edition of Monster Hunter Rise, a special Deluxe Edition will include the Standard Edition of the game, as well as a digital DLC pack voucher that can be redeemed for bonus in-game content such as a “Kamurai” full layered armor set, exclusive gestures, cosmetic items and more. PC players will receive a free celebratory item pack filled with useful items at launch, alongside access to the Guild Cross armor set, which offers high defense to get through the early-game quests and reach high rank in no time

Azerion consolidates its position at the forefront of the Metaverse & Web 3.0 by integrating NFTs in Habbo

Owning a Habbo Avatar unlocks Habbo Club and Builders Club perks, an exclusive NFT Furni and a special Habbo Avatar skin

Helsinki, FI — January 12th, 2022 — Sulake, part of the digital entertainment and media platform Azerion, announced today the completion of the first stage in evolving the Habbo metaverse by bringing it to Web 3.0, with owners of NFTs from the Habbo Avatars collection being able to play in-game with their NFT Avatar as their own unique character while receiving new perks including HabboClub and Builders Club memberships and exclusive NFT furni items. NFT furni is one of the most exciting integrations of NFTs in the game so far and can be used to decorate your Habbo room like any other furni.

Habbo is looking to spearhead adoption of this new technology positioning itself at the forefront of blockchain gaming with these new ways of integrating NFTs into your normal game experience,” said Valtteri Karu, CEO of Sulake. “Our goal is to make Habbo a leading example of the possibilities of NFT gaming in the new Web 3.0 metaverse.”

“While the Metaverse has been on everyone’s lips this autumn, Habbo has already begun integrating NFTs into its existing game,” said Jurriaan van Teunenbroek, Vice President of Games & Content at Azerion. “Habbo is ahead of the curve in this respect, which is a huge accomplishment for an existing product that has been around for over 20 years. This is a testament to the prominence of the Habbo brand”

In order for owners to receive these in-game perks, players had to connect their Ethereum wallet to their Habbo account. Additionally, NFT furni is distributed using the Immutable X (IMX) service, an environmentally-friendly way of transferring items across the Ethereum blockchain with minimal carbon impact. As such, owners had to register their Ethereum wallets in IMX before December 8th, 2021 in order to receive the furni airdrop, or risk missing out on these exclusive items.

Habbo Avatars NFT Owners received their exclusive NFT furni on December 8th, 2021. And finally, access to the owners’ Habbo Club / Builders Club perks and the ability to use the Habbo Avatar NFTs as their own unique in-game character all came into effect by December 22nd 2021.

Rogue Command Brings Back Classic RTS Action Q3 2022

Console, Mac Versions Harvesting Resources For Release Later

FRANKFURT, Germany Jan. 10, 2021 – Rogue Command, a love letter to the classics from the real-time strategy (RTS), deckbuilding, and roguelike genres from developer Feneq, prepares units for battle on PC via Steam Early Access in Q3 2022, with a console and Mac version providing reinforcements alongside PC’s 1.0 release in 2023.

Command the adorably dangerous Engineer, an A.I. with recently gained sentience who decided working endlessly isn’t a way to live for the next millennia. The Engineer is going rogue and will put it all on the line to push back the interstellar planet core mining corporation coming for his solar system and his day off.

Lead this robotic uprising against the Planetary Core Extractor Company (PCX) by building a base from scratch in procedurally generated battlefields across a star system with 16 distinct planet biomes. Explore through the fog of war, harvest resources to construct foundries, and assemble an insurmountable army.

After each mission, select a blueprint card that allows the construction of a new unit-producing building for this run. Visit a bot buddy at the scrap shop to buy some of the 40 special upgrades to add exciting properties to each blueprint card to get an edge in the war against 25 different rival machine types. Push decks in crazy directions by choosing from more than 100 different strategy-altering blueprints and 90 distinct units. Utilize combos like the nano-darkness of robo-necromancy to swarm your foes or set the maps ablaze with fiery chain reactions consuming forests and opposition alike.

Select a route during every run in true roguelike fashion to make a deadly visit with the mysterious master ruling over these automatons. Rogue Command mashes together three beloved genres to deliver gameplay that feels immediately familiar to fans of classic RTS games while the blend of roguelike deck-building makes it feel right at home in the current gaming landscape.

“We have sincerely missed the spirit of playing fun skirmish matches in the RTS games from our childhood,” said Mario, game designer of Feneq. “That is why we are making Rogue Command our first game. We believe that by combining the RTS, deck builder, and roguelike genres we can bring that old school RTS fun into the modern day for anyone to enjoy,” added Martin whose code makes everything work under the hood.

Rogue Command will be available on PC via Steam Early Access in Q3 2022 with English, German, French, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Italian language support. The console and Mac versions will arrive at a later date.
