SpecialEffect charity kit to be made available in EA SPORTS FIFA 22 ULTIMATE TEAM

Electronic Arts are supporting charity partner SpecialEffect by featuring an exclusive FUT kit in FIFA 22

The kit will go live in game on Monday 11th April at 6PM BST, as a reward for a weekly objective in FUT 22

SpecialEffect are a UK-based charity that provide custom-designed control setups for people with physical disabilities who want to enjoy video games. FIFA is one of the most popular games requested by people they help.

The kit is being launched at SpecialEffect’s local professional club Oxford United with guests including beneficiaries of the charity, and an appearance of the Premier League Trophy by kind arrangement with EA Sports.

20th Anniversary Event Unveils Next Entry in the Award-Winning Game Series that Kicks Off the “Lost Master Arc” in addition to a Brand-New Mobile Game

SYDNEY (April 11, 2022) –Today, as part of the 20th anniversary celebration of the KINGDOM HEARTS franchise, SQUARE ENIX® and Disney announced that KINGDOM HEARTS IV, the newest instalment in the beloved RPG series, is in early development, and also revealed a brand-new mobile game, KINGDOM HEARTS Missing-Link.

In the announcement trailer, Sora makes a triumphant return with an updated look at the beginning of an epic new storyline titled the “Lost Master Arc.” Beginning with Sora facing off in a boss battle against a giant enemy, players are introduced to the Quadratum, a large, expansive city set in a gorgeous, realistic world unlike anything ever seen before in the KINGDOM HEARTS series. Fans will be excited to see the return of Sora’s well-known companions Donald and Goofy, in addition to the first appearance of Strelitzia, a mysterious new character who appears before Sora in this strange new setting.


Fans can also look forward to KINGDOM HEARTS Missing-Link, an all-new game for iOS and Android devices, which allows players to embark on adventures from the realm of Scala ad Caelum into the real world. Players will be able to engage in exhilarating battles against the Heartless and discover a new, original story. A closed beta test is planned for 2022*.

SQUARE ENIX and Disney hosted the KINGDOM HEARTS 20th Anniversary event in Tokyo, Japan where together with fans, they celebrated the past 20 years of the beloved franchise and provided a first look at what’s to come next. The event also featured a live music performance, a showcase of stained-glass artworks and on-stage appearances from Series Director, Tetsuya Nomura, series’ composer, Yoko Shimomura, and other development members. Fans can enjoy photos from the event on the official social channels and look forward to a recording of the event which will be shared at a later date.

ORCS MUST DIE! 3 TIPPING THE SCALES DLC LAUNCHES TODAY ON XBOX, STADIA, PLAYSTATION AND STEAM

Robot Entertainment, an independent development and publishing studio, announced the all new Tipping the Scales DLC for Orcs Must Die! 3 is launching today on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Stadia, Steam, and PlayStation® 4. Featuring the brand new Tuatara Race and its four enemy types, players will come equipped with a new Hand Gatling weapon, the Briar Patch Trap, and a Reptilian Carapace Trinket all set in a new desert biome. 

The Tipping the Scales DLC also includes five new scenarios including a War Scenario- Untrained Grounds (inspired by Orcs Must Die! Unchained Training Grounds map), Sandstorm Shelter, Oasis Outpost, Sand Sea Castle,  and Desert Wall (War Scenario). Lastly, four Endless Maps, two new skins – Cygnus Sand Skin and Vorwick Sand Skin and six new Achievements will be included in this new DLC. White Shadows is a cinematic puzzle platformer available for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S where you play as a little Ravengirl trying to escape a brutal dystopia founded on propaganda that puts her at the bottom of its hierarchical social ladder. Fantasy Town Brings Grand Farming Adventure with Today’s Soft Launch

Users across these regions can start enjoying the title’s vibrant mix of exploration, RPG, and adventure game mechanics while working to build their own thriving town. Produce and farm crops, trade goods, explore, and defend citizens from evil Trolls that are bent on causing harm and havoc.

Open Drive, the new eye-controlled driving game from gamers’ charity SpecialEffect

There’s an exciting new sandbox driving game on SpecialEffect’s eyegazegames.com website that’s already gaining fans across the globe. Open Drive is optimised for players who use eye gaze technology as their primary controller, and promises tricks, challenges and trophies. 

Like all the games on the site, Open Drive boasts a range of eye gaze settings and controls, but it can also be enjoyed using touch, assistive mice, keyboard, gamepad, a switch or switches. The game will be regularly extended with additional worlds to explore.

GET YOUR GALACTIC GROOVE ON WITH MARVEL’S GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY: WELCOME TO KNOWHERE EP ORIGINAL VIDEO GAME SOUNDTRACK

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Welcome to Knowhere EP Original Video Game Soundtrack features four EDM influenced tunes that combine breaks, beats, outworldly vocals and earth-shattering basslines to rock any dancefloor, in any galaxy. Furthermore, in response to numerous fan requests, the EP also contains the music from the “Huddle” – the anthemic power up rock build-up, as well as the Spaghetti Western influenced music for the karaoke showdown with notorious smuggler, Lipless.

A fan favourite, Knowhere is the lively mining port based inside the head of a dead Celestial being, and is full of places to drink, gamble and reflect. Our gang of misfits visit Knowhere during their adventure, giving players an unforgettable and outlandish experience while exploring this infamous destination. Music was key for making Knowhere feel alive, with each visitable destination given its own signature sound. Collectively, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Welcome to Knowhere EP Original Video Game Soundtrack brings this music together and features six out-of-this-world weird and wonderful tracks drawing inspiration from alien techno, to dark haunting industrial, to new age synthesized sound.
 
All featured tracks are composed, performed, and produced by BAFTA and IVOR NOVELLO nominated composer Richard Jacques, with the bonus EP available for free across all major streaming platforms from 8 April 2022.

Players can shred their way through new, epic riffs as the Unplugged journey to rock-stardom continues

Sydney, Australia, April 8, 2021 – Vertigo Games, the VR specialist publishing and development arm of the global Koch Media Group, and Anotherway, VR development studio with roots at Microsoft Hololens and Activision, are launching the first ‘Riff Pack’ for their cheered-on VR music game Unplugged on April 14 (April 15 AEST). The downloadable bundle consists of tracks from Gossip, Muse, Rob Zombie and Slayer, and is coming to botch Meta Quest and PC VR* (*Valve Index Controller compatible headsets only). The Riff Pack is the first realisation of Vertigo Games and Anotherway’s plan to expand the musical library of Unplugged.

Through the use of hand-tracking technology, Unplugged offers immersive air guitar play to the tunes of world famous rock-songs. With real-life guitar -and amplifier brands, an experienced all-star rock team behind the game and a solid setlist of over 20 songs, Unplugged brings an authentic and exhilarating sense of rock-star realness. The game was awarded ‘Game of the Year 2021’, ‘Best Quest Hand-tracking Game’ and ‘Most innovative Design’ by Upload VR. Expanding its musical library with the Riff Pack was a logical next step in continuing the Unplugged tour.
