Sydney, Australia, May 20^th, 2022 – “Thou shalt champion the forces of Justice and Prevail against Evil” is the 10th commandment of chivalry – and what drives Theoderich von Akenburg, the hero of our story. One of his former brothers-in-arms, Ulrich, has become obsessed with re-uniting Aaron’s rod, an ancient and mysterious relic, and is on a reckless crusade through Europe and the Holy Land to find the missing pieces. If Ulrich succeeds, the world will face grave consequences. Theoderich had vowed to never take up arms again, but chivalry forces him to embark on the holy quest to stop Ulrich, gathering new loyal companions along the way.

The Valiant is an upcoming action-RTS with RPG elements, designed to bring a fresh experience to players wanting something new in the genre. Focused on more tactical combat with smaller forces, players encounter a sweeping, story-driven campaign where each mission’s challenge is unique. Decisions both on and off the battlefield count, as players will want to select their forces carefully for each mission (no base building here!), as well as decide the skills and equipment given to each hero. With three unique skill trees per hero, there are plenty of options to explore when finding the playstyle that fits best, and Valiant’s fast-paced, melee-centric combat will give new challenges to even the most veteran RTS player

The Valiant also offers two different multiplayer modes: competitive and cooperative. While the game’s campaign is designed as a single-player experience, 3 friends can enjoy the Last Man Standing mode together and hold their ground against waves of enemies, including mini-bosses and bosses. Success will be rewarded with experience to level up the selected hero, granting new skills and better stats for future challenges. The PVP mode offers 1v1 or 2v2 scenarios that consist of swift and thrilling clashes as players capture control points and build up their forces. As players earn more victories, they’ll be able to unlock a wide range of visual customisation that can be leveraged throughout the game experience.

Sydney, Australia – 20^th May, 2022:  Rebellion, one of the world’s most successful video games developers and publishers, has today released a new gameplay trailer for Sniper Elite 5 which showcases the enhancements made to its genre defining slow motion Kill Cam. For the first time in the series Kill Cam can now be triggered by particularly clinical shots using SMGs and pistols as well as for eliminations using rifles and takedowns.

Enhancements have been made to both the physics and the visuals behind Sniper Elite 5’s Kill Cam. Bullets can now ricochet off bones causing even further internal devastation which is shown to the player in more detail thanks to enhancements in the visual representation of the characters including more definition on the skeleton, muscles, organs and sinew.

The inclusion of iron sights for both SMGs and pistols, a first for the series, will allow players to be more accurate with those weapons, which will in turn trigger a Kill Cam for the most clinical of shots. Players will also have control over the Kill Cam in real time with ability to speed up/slow down the cinematic as well as being able to adjust the camera angle.

A favourite feature with fans of the franchise, the frequency with which a player sees Kill Cam can be adjusted in the game’s menu, including the ability to turn it off completely.

The weapons in Sniper Elite 5 have been painstakingly recreated from real world reference to ensure maximum authenticity. Players can now customise their weapons by discovering workbenches hidden within the missions. Each workbench will unlock further customisation options. This means that they can adjust their chosen loadout to suit their individual play style and the objective that they are undertaking.

Sniper Elite 5 releases physically on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 4 & 5 on Thursday 26th May. The game features an immersive campaign, which is playable in single player and two player co-op, adversarial multiplayer for up to 16 players and a new Invasion Mode which allows another player to join your game as an Axis Sniper tasked with taking you out.

Players who pre-order Sniper Elite 5 will also receive the latest mission of the much heralded ‘Target Führer’ campaign titled “Wolf Mountain”. The Deluxe Edition is also available to pre-order and will include Season Pass One (2 Campaign Missions, 2 Weapon skin packs, 2 Character Packs, 6 Weapon Packs), Target Führer and a P.1938 Suppressed Pistol for those who pre-order.

• The recent launch of “BuildAbility” in Minecraft: Education Edition. In May, M:EE launched an accessibility World in partnership with the PEEL school, where students can understand, identify, and work to eliminate accessibility barriers in their school and community… all within the Minecraft universe.
• Xbox Accessibility Guidelines (XAGs) 3.0 update with information on mental health. Based off community and developer feedback, the Xbox Accessibility Guidelines (XAGs) 3.0 update published in May includes a new mental health guideline, as well as info on motion sickness and expanded details on text sizing.

Today, 2K and Gearbox Software released the Glutton’s Gamble DLC for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands®, available for individual purchase or through owning the Season Pass*. Check out the new trailer and prepare to face the monster in Vesper‘s second Mirror of Mystery. Trouble is brewing as Imelda, Witch of the Sand, unleashes her latest culinary creation—a potion that imbues her with a voracious appetite and fearsome strength.

A Challenge You Can Dive Right Into

As with the other Mirrors of Mystery, Glutton’s Gamble can give you a chance to face a more difficult dungeon and farm higher-tier loot to help you complete the main story. You can test your mettle with this challenging, re-playable gauntlet while Vesper shares the self-contained story of Imelda’s origins.

Vesper and her Mirrors of Mystery are located in the Dreamveil Overlook, just outside of Brighthoof in the Overworld. The enemies within have a baseline level of 13, and will scale to your Fatemaker’s level beyond that, making the Mirrors of Mystery a worthy, repeatable endeavour whether you’re still early on in your Fatemaker’s quest or you’ve forged yourself in the flames of the most difficult Chaos Levels. But tread carefully, because dying within a Mirror of Mystery will kick you out of the looking glass; you’ll have to start over if you want to show Imelda who’s boss.

Four Weeks of Boss Battles and New Loot

For three consecutive weeks following the launch of Glutton’s Gamble, Imelda will cook up a new potion transforming her into an ever-more voracious beast. With each progressively tougher form, new Legendary gear will be added to the loot table, giving you good reason to return for some rematches. Those new items are in addition to the wide array of fresh cosmetic items you can collect, whether as random drops from enemies within the Mirrors of Mystery or when spinning Vesper’s Wheel of Fate using the Lost Souls you’ve collected during your mirror-dimension battles.

A full schedule for when Imelda takes on new, deadlier forms is available on the game’s official website. You’ll have to beat each form consecutively, even if you’re playing Glutton’s Gamble after the initial dates have passed. Vesper will reveal unique insight into Imelda’s motives with each difficulty level; beat all four to hear the full story.

Additions to Endgame Experience

If you can successfully complete Glutton’s Gamble at least once, its five unique level layouts and the Imelda boss fight will be added to the pool of Chaos Chamber possibilities for even more endgame dungeon variety. Combined with the ongoing series of limited-time mini-events and weekly Featured Runs that are constantly being added to Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, there’s lots to be gained from besting Imelda’s new forms each week. Good luck defeating Imelda and her cauldron full of culinary chaos!

Four kids and family friendly video games by Outright Games are coming this year!

Super UFO Fighter, Competitive Online Extraterrestrial Action, Beams Down to Switch, PC 14 July, 2022

TOKYO – 19 May, 2022 – Super UFO Fighter, the head-to-head party action game from Japanese developer VV-LABO and published by Phoenixx, lifts off on Thursday, 14 July, 2022, on Nintendo Switch and Steam for PC.

Compete in an intergalactic 1v1 showdown, where flying saucer pilots contend for the Galactic Shwoop Master Title. Smash open capsules to find items that can raise the enemy’s goal or lower your own. Grab the Target item and fling it into the opponent’s goal using the Shwoop Beam to score, or use the UFO’s smash attack to keep the enemy from scoring. Master each UFO’s unique beam and attack to become the undisputed champion of the universe.

Battle in six colorful arenas, including Bubbletopia Palace and Corner Caboodle, each with different layouts and stage-specific elements, making every match a one-of-a-kind challenge. Mix things up in the Super Ball mode, where each competitor tries to get the explosive ball to the other side of the screen before the timer runs out, and the unfortunate UFO gets blown up!

Compete in any game mode in either local or online multiplayer, with cross-platform support between Steam and Nintendo Switch. Learn the ropes in the single-player story mode, where Earth’s own Lulu finds herself exploring the galaxy, learning the ways of the Shwoop Beam, and battling against nefarious would-be challengers. 

Initially set to land on Earth in January, developer VV-LABO returned to their home planet after feedback received during premieres at INDIE Live Expo Winter 2021 and The MIX Next. With this extra time, the team included gameplay balancing improvements, a new stage, and secret content.

INTRODUCING THREE SPECIAL JOBS SELECTED AND VOTED FOR BY THE COMMUNITY!

LONDON (May 19th, 2022) – Today, award-winning developer FuturLab released a special anniversary update for Steam Early Access title POWERWASH SIMULATOR. Published by Square Enix Ltd, the 0.9 update features three Special Jobs selected and voted for by the PowerWash community! 
 
POWERWASH SIMULATOR lets players wash away their worries with the soothing sounds of high-pressure water. Players can build their very own power washing business and blast away every speck of dirt and grime that they can find. POWERWASH SIMULATOR focuses on player relaxation and escapism with a unique take on the simulation genre. 
 
To mark the first anniversary of the game’s release into Steam Early Access, FuturLab has released a selection of community map requests to mark the occasion. Throughout the last 12 months, POWERWASH SIMULATOR has had nine updates and added over 25 new jobs and 2 new game modes; the community has grown to hundreds of thousands and garnered over 18,000 overwhelmingly positive reviews. 
 
The new community maps feature a fabulous Gnome Fountain, a sensational Steam Locomotive, and a magical Mini Golf Course. All three of these Special Jobs were proposed, selected, and voted for on Discord by the PowerWash community from hundreds of suggestions.

That’s not all for this community-focused update; players can now earn money in Free Play & Special Jobs, there’s a new fixed camera view for washing to improve accessibility and help combat motion sickness, and some of the older levels have had a facelift to match the grace and beauty of the game’s more recent jobs.
