Tuesday, June 21, 2022 — The most anticipated sporting event in Elvenar is back with new experiences and with challenges never seen before. Rufus, the biggest fan of the Elvarian Games, is inviting players to meet again and enjoy the water competition together. The Lucky Little Fin will be available in the game between June 21 and July 13. 

Rufus is particularly excited this year about the Grand Hippocampus Hoop Derby, since this time around it comes with a racetrack that is designed to evolve over time. Seahorses of Elvenar are set to compete in every stage, challenging their speed, durability, and wits. As everyone gets tangled in the excitement of the competition, Rufus notices a runty seahorse among them – Seacookie and starts to feel for them. Players are set to find out what will happen to Seacookie by solving the quests and progressing through the event. 

Fulfilling tasks for Rufus will bring players Seahorse Food that can be used to feed and strengthen the seahorses in the competition. This can also be earned by reaching quest milestones, daily visiting the city, or can even be found on the outskirts of the city. Seahorse Food will help seahorses swim through hoops and stumble upon many treasures.  

Each time a Seahorse reaches the end stage, they will reward players with Grand Prizes, including the special Glory of the Nimble evolution building. For the first time ever, this evolving building introduces Random Productions for the players’ cities. Each stage of the building has a different set of possible rewards, which can be claimed every 24 hours. Evolving the Glory of the Nimble at its final stage will bring the chance of winning an amazing reward of 50 Knowledge Points, every time the players roll its dice! 

But that’s not all! Along with the Evolving Glory of Nimble, there’s also an impressive collection of buildings to be won in the event: the golden Azure Stables producing Heavy Ranged units from the Mercenary Camp, a lucrative boost of mana coming from the Manta Rays and Manta Boats, or the fancy accommodations for all the visitors of the Elvarian Games within the Crab Hotel Deluxe.

Summoners Fate is a roguelike adventure game that fuses traditional turn-based combat with card-slinging spell combat. BURBERRY X BLANKOS BLOCK PARTY: NEW NFT COLLECTION AND SOCIAL SPACE

London, June 20, 2022 – Burberry has today announced it is partnering with Mythical Games for a second consecutive year to launch a new NFT collection in its flagship title, Blankos Block Party. As part of the collaboration, the brand is opening new spaces for its communities by creating a bespoke social space within the game where players can come together and enjoy a unique virtual experience.

Draped in Burberry’s new TB Summer Monogram and inspired by the brand’s Animal Kingdom house code, the limited-edition Burberry Blanko NFT takes the form of a unicorn named Minny B. A playful interpretation of the mythical creature, Minny B is a kind, gentle, and cheeky character that melds art and creativity to evoke a sense of limitless possibility. Minny B is equipped with a signature spiralled horn and set of white wings, enhancing the character’s magical quality and allowing the Blanko to explore new spaces by flight.

The new NFT collection will include Burberry branded in-game accessories, including boomboxes, TB sliders, lucky horseshoe necklaces, and a ‘Shellphone’, a seashell-inspired mobile phone accessory, which players can add to their virtual portfolio of online accessories. Blankos Block Party players that own Burberry’s first NFT character, Sharky B, will also be rewarded with a free Monogram bucket hat accessory which will be released in coming weeks.

Road to Early Access and full PC & console launch for adventure inspired by Animal Crossing and Stardew begins today

Oslo, Norway – June 17th, 2022 – Independent developer Snowcastle Games today launched the two-week Open Beta on Steam for Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure, the upcoming adventure about crafting, thwarting pirates and befriending animals. Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure, is coming to Steam Early Access later this Summer. Details about the Early Access release date and the roadmap towards a full PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One release will be revealed in the near future.

Taking inspiration from titles like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley, Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure adds to compelling exploration, resource gathering, crafting and customisation systems with a host of fun gameplay ideas that give this colourful title its own twist. Befriending local wildlife and using their unique abilities to help you access new areas of the island offers a compelling exploration mechanic unlike anything you’ve seen in the genre before. Expect to encounter perilous pirate camps and battle monsters as you uncover Ikonei Island’s secrets. Perhaps most importantly, look forward to doing all this with your friends! Multiplayer is one of the key features that Snowcastle will add to the game as it builds out the title’s features during Early Access.

Set in the universe of the Earthlock RPGs, Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure takes the rich world-building and magical setting of the franchise into new territory. As you explore a diverse and intriguing landscape with secrets waiting to be uncovered, you will discover ancient ruins from a bygone civilization and unlock a host of different biomes, ranging from icy mountains and parched deserts, to dense jungles and humid swamps.

Alongside the game’s satisfying crafting systems, farming, combat and everything else Ikonei Island has to offer, players will have the opportunity to make the island their own. An upgradable hamlet serves as a base of operations and unique placeable items allow you to customise the island to your liking. That extends to your home, which can be decorated to your own tastes!

More details on the roadmap for Ikonei Island’s Early Access journey will be shared soon, along with the Early Access release date, but Snowcastle invites players to start offering their feedback now on the Snowcastle Discord. The community will be vital in shaping the tweaks and additions made to the game during its time on Early Access, so Snowcastle are eager for players to get involved in the process and tell them what they think!
