Eclipse Crisis Event Plunges Operators in the Dark in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six^® Extraction

Evade detection in new Crisis Event that brings stealth-oriented gameplay, a new Operator, and more!

Sydney, Australia — August 12, 2022 — Today, Ubisoft announced Rainbow Six Extraction’s third Crisis Event, Eclipse, is now available. In addition to the content from the last two Crisis Events, this limited-time event continues to add more postlaunch content for players to enjoy. Eclipse forces Operators into partial darkness as they venture into three sub-zones against a new threat.

As Operators dive deeper into the Truth or Consequences map, they will encounter the source of the darkness: the Neoplasm, a threat which sends out pulses that detect movement within a radius. In each sub-zone, players must weaken the Neoplasm with a stealthy takedown. If movement is detected, the Neoplasm will flee to the next sub-zone, making the next encounter increasingly difficult.

To progress from sub-zone to sub-zone, players will have to restore power to a generator while facing an onslaught of Archæans. The crisis climaxes in the third sub-zone, where players must eliminate the Neoplasm for good and make it to the extraction point safely.

Alongside Eclipse – Rainbow Six Operator Echo joins the REACT Team today. Known for his efficiency in gathering intel, Echo will be a valuable addition to the Rainbow Six Extraction roster both in Eclipse and the main game. Echo’s Yokai drone transmits a video feed to him and can fire ultrasonic bursts that disorients all targets it hits.

A new piece of REACT tech, the Aura Grenade, is also available for players to unlock. The Aura Grenade can be unlocked by completing the quest, ‘Stealth Kill 50 Archæans,’ and can be completed in any game mode. This new piece of REACT tech can lure Archæans and be remotely detonated to obliterate or stun enemies. It can also self-detonate after a set amount of time.

• Experience a breathtaking recreation of a bygone era, from the 1982 NCAA National Championship to the 1998 NBA Finals. Each challenge features a pre-game interview with a luminary who was a part of what made every game special;

Today, 2K and Gearbox Software announced the fourth Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands® DLC, Shattering Spectreglass, is now available for individual purchase and to owners of the game’s Season Pass*. Headlining Shattering Spectreglass is the all-new Blightcaller class, which allows players to harness the noxious essence of swamps with potent precision, alongside new ways to customize your Fatemaker, including an all-new voice.

Shattering Spectreglass begins in Dreamveil Overlook, where players will face Vesper’s most personal Mirror of Mystery yet. Shattering Spectreglass offers a window into Vesper’s memories, which are plagued by visions of Redmourne the Trivern, a mighty beast that can grow multiple heads and feeds on fear, siphoning his power from lost souls. Bringing down this winged behemoth once and for all is the only way to help Vesper escape her past.

Blightcaller class, new multiclassing, and new character customization

Blightcallers are adept at dealing elemental damage, particularly Poison, and get further boosts to their elemental damage whenever they apply a Status Effect thanks to their Class Feat, Whisper of Rot. With this new class, players will have even more Multiclass builds to explore.

Additionally, new character creation options for your Fatemaker include a new Grim voice personality that provides delightful doom-and-gloom demeanour. You also get the ability to further tweak starting stats thanks to four fresh backstories to choose from: Nerfed by the Bunkermaster, Clownblood, Apprentice Barnacle Scraper, and Street Urchin Success Story.

New boss, four weeks of battles, and new loot

In the weeks following the launch of Shattering Spectreglass, the new big bad, Redmourne the Trivern, will recoup and regenerate his element-spewing heads, ready to terrorize with a swath of new attacks. With each progressively tougher version of this battle, new Legendary gear will be added to the loot table, giving players good reason to return for rematches.

New legendary loot, including a wide array of fresh cosmetic items, can be rewarded from Vesper’s Wheel of Fate after players defeat Redmourne at least once, as well as random drops.

Expanding the endgame experience

Completing Shattering Spectreglass will add four unique level layouts and the Redmourne boss fight to the pool of Chaos Chamber, the endlessly replayable endgame of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. This will expand the myriad of combinations for your randomized dungeon, making each run that much more unpredictable.

A New Insightful Short Film Reveals Who-Plays-Who In This Spiritual Nightmare

Sydney, Australia – August, 12^th, 2022 – Watch the fresh and finest short film that will enlighten you on the depth and psychology of The Chant’s colourful cast of twisted characters.

Find out what brought each of them to the Prismic Spiritual Retreat on remote Glory Island. Learn how their minds work, understand the deep darkness within each of them and follow their terrifying journey.

For the first time, the performers reveal what it was like to bring their characters to life in the upcoming horror action-adventure game, The Chant.

We begin with our lead character. Jessica Briar, performed by Siobhan Williams, is asked by her friend Kim Mallari  (played by Kira Clavell) to come to this remote Glory Island on a spiritual retreat. Jess is happy to take a few days away from the city and her stressful life and career. Why not?

Considering herself someone who is willing to try new things, she is also ready to deal with some much needed closure from a traumatic event shared with Kim from their teenage years. What she does not know is that she will be forced into a new way of thinking in order to survive the horrors at hand.

What happens on Glory Island…

Kim´s been looking forward to the retreat ever since she first heard Tyler Anton (actor Adam Millard) talk about it at one of his seminars. Since becoming a student of Tyler, she has felt more alive than ever. She is very grateful that Tyler allowed and even encouraged her to invite Jess to join, but is Tyler the healing, powerful and spiritual leader he claims to be?

He inherited the island from his troubled mother and now he’s ready to welcome a small group of followers for a transformational journey into Prismic Science. Definitely, the sign he’s been waiting for. It’s time to leave his mark on the world and maybe even the cosmos.

Hannah Wilson played by Emily Tennant, feels nothing but excitement at the thought of welcoming the retreat attendees. She has spent the past several months as Tyler’s right-hand; never before has she experienced such a sense of belonging.

Maya Kalani (voiced by Nicole Anthony) is on the island because she believes this retreat is her first step towards confronting her scars from her past to find true healing. In her wandering she met Tyler, whose keen eye saw her pain and enrolled her in the retreat with ease. She embodies a special spirit and energy.

Since connecting with Tyler, Sonny Sonti (Praneet Akilla) has decided to channel his energy (and some family wealth) towards his vision to help promote Prismic Science and create a movement. This is his chance to find greater meaning and leave behind a pattern of broken promises and self-destruction.

Multiple characters, multiple reasons to be there. One interconnected journey that will avow the strengths and weaknesses of each of the spiritual retreat attendees on Glory Island.
