SEVEN KNIGHTS 2 RELEASES GLOBAL UPDATE WITH NEW CHARACTERS, EVENTS AND CONTENT

LOS ANGELES – August 31, 2022 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality mobile games, announces a new global update for the mobile role-playing game Seven Knights 2. The update features a new playable hero and pet, events and more.  

Starting today, players can acquire Arc of Azure Light Taka in the Summon Shop. This attack- type character is the adopted son of Teo and Orly. As a member of the Night Crow, Taka is devoted to perfecting his swordsmanship. His Danse Macabre skill is a powerful move that inflicts heavy (and increasing) damage to targets. His ultimate, Cool Wind Strike deals even greater damage to the target and causes a bleed effect. Other features include defense ignoring mechanisms and increasing single target skill damages of allies making him a must-have to maximize the team’s damage output.

The newly added pet, [Legendary+] Empress of Aisha Rin is also available to players. Her skill increases the ultimate skill gauge by 50% while also providing disguise for 8 seconds if the hero’s HP is under 30%. 

As part of the update, players can experience new content including:

  • Celestial Tower Addition: The preexisting Celestial Tower 1F~120F is now changed to the ‘Easy’ difficulty level, while a new ‘Normal’ mode is added with higher difficulty. In Normal mode, players will encounter new boss types like the Gargoyle of Destruction.
  • Formation Expansion: Six new types of formation are added including: Charge, Defense, Speed, Fatal, Block and Invasion. A total of 28 positions for strategy are ready for players to test their tactics. 

For this update, players have the opportunity to earn their favorite costumes for free just by participating in various fashion-themed events:

  • Fashion Box: Players receive Fashion Boxes which can be opened for various rewards.
  • Fashion Box Collection Event (Aug. 31 – Sept. 14): Players will receive costume tickets based on the number of Fashion Boxes they collect throughout the event. These can be exchanged for a costume of choice and a Legendary+ Equipment Ticket. 
  • Preparing Fashion Show Check-in Event: Players can obtain Fashion Boxes just by checking into the game daily.
  • Play Field Exploration and Raid: Players can obtain additional Fashion Boxes from playing Field Exploration and Raid

Seven Knights 2 takes place 20 years after the original Seven Knights, and centers on the Daybreak Mercenaries who embark on a journey to find the last member of the Seven Knights “Rudy,” after a series of events involving a mysterious girl named Phiné. Starring an array of characters depicted with stunning graphics powered by Unreal Engine 4, Seven Knights 2 will immerse players in a true sequel featuring the fun and innovative gameplay of Seven Knights enjoyed by players around the world. LONDON (Aug. 31, 2022) – While we have to sit in our offices, Tchia lives on a tropical island, soul-jumping her way from adventure to adventure. In a new in-depth video showcasing all-new gameplay, environments and story elements, Game Director Phil Crifo guides viewers through a typical day in Tchia, Awaceb’s upcoming open-world adventure. Take an extended look at the game’s gorgeous New Caledonia-inspired setting and watch as Tchia traverses a variety of true-to-life landscapes with her unique soul-jumping abilities. Effortlessly venture from the world’s rocky mountains to sky-blue waters, and solve creative puzzles – whilst also playing a song or two on the ukulele on the way.  

Traveling across the landscape, Tchia can run, jump or glide vast distances, as long as her stamina is up. But other methods of getting around are much faster, or at least, more unique. Tchia can climb to the top of a tree and catapult herself across the canopy, as well as climb almost any larger obstacle, whether rocks or mountains. But with an entire archipelago to explore, two legs just don’t cut it. Tchia’s soul-jumping ability allows her to quickly hop into the body of almost any animal or inanimate object you can find. Take to the seas and explore the ocean depths as a dolphin, or traverse distances by sky as a seagull.

Not everything is calm and relaxing in Tchia though. The island Tchia calls home has been invaded by strange fabric creatures called the Maano, who under the orders of the archipelago’s evil ruler, have abducted her father. Players will have to use everything at their disposal to take them out, choosing between burning the cloth menaces with lanterns or stunning them with Tchia’s trusty slingshot. Soul-jumping offers additional solutions, with Tchia being able to control a nearby lantern and fling it at an enemy. 

Also aiding Tchia on her journey is her trusty ukulele. While players can simply play a few chords on it whenever they want, the instrument itself is filled with magic, letting Tchia change the world around her. With a few simple strums, players can change the time of day, weather or use powerful magic abilities.

World of Tanks PC rolls out brand-new content and biggest technical update of 2022

New Italian tanks, map, technical and visual improvements, changes to matchmaking

August 31st, 2022 – World of Tanks PC is releasing its biggest content and technical update of the year! Rolling out of the garage is a new map, significant matchmaking changes, rebalanced vehicles, and thanks to surviving blueprints and archived materials, a large convoy of new Italian tanks, to bring new content to millions of players globally.

Uriy Kuryavyi, World of Tanks PC Publishing Director says update 1.18 is unique and comprehensive.

“I am proud of the hard work of the huge international team of developers that were working on this massive update. We have updated the performance of many vehicles, improved a large pool of Random Battles locations and introduced important matchmaking changes for light vehicles and SPGs,” said Uriy.

The new addition of Italian tank destroyers consists of six researchable vehicles, from Tier V to Tier X. All tanks will feature strong frontal armor, excellent gun depression angles, and starting from Tier VII—a classic autoloader with unusual implementation, as a unique gameplay feature.

They include the Semovente M41; Semovente M43 Bassoto; the Semovente Controcarro mod. 1956 (starting with this TD the branch begins to take on its main features); the Controcarro mod. 67 (embodies all the finest qualities of Italian tank destroyers); the Controcarro 1 Mk (an incredibly dangerous opponent in close and mid-range combat); and the Controcarro 3 Minotauro (the jewel in the crown of the new line).

“Almost all these new vehicles existed only as incomplete design project, and only a few of them were physically built-in metal. But thanks to surviving blueprints and archive materials, we have taken these forgotten concepts to the next level and recreated machines in the game as if they might have existed in real life,” said Uriy.

A new map is also making its debut in Random Battles: Outpost. This is a picturesque summer map that combines open green areas, city ruins and trenches, and an impressive fortress with an outpost of its own. All these elements make the location diverse both visually and in terms of gameplay.

Tank commanders will welcome important changes to matchmaking. New rules are being introduced for balancing light and wheeled tanks, and for the number of SPGs per team. The matchmaker will now always try to match light/wheeled tanks so that both teams have identical number of vehicles with a limit of no more than one in a platoon from Tier VII onward. Concerning the number of SPGs, the players will take the battle with 0-2 SPGs per team.

Within the Update 1.18, players will enjoy new visual changes which scale based on the PCs capability. It delivers vehicle tracks beginning to look even more realistic. Now, the tracks of vehicles in the game unwind correctly when hit, fly off and stay on the ground if the vehicle is hit while moving at high speeds.

20 licensed courses are set to challenge players with more to come post-launch

2K today revealed the officially licensed courses available to play in PGA TOUR® 2K23. In addition to 17 courses returning from PGA TOUR 2K21, three new courses – the South Course of Wilmington Country Club, The Renaissance Club, and St. George’s Golf and Country Club – round out a full list of 20 courses available at launch to keep players swinging with swag and challenging their crews on a total of 360 unique fairways and dance floors.

In order to create pristine in-game renditions of real-life courses, 2K and HB Studios use a combination of aerial drone footage, lidar data, high resolution photography, and supporting assets provided by each course’s management to ensure each course is true to life and features realistic buildings, signage, hazards, fairways, greens and climate. The process ensures the most authentic PGA TOUR video game experience available to date. Courses such as Riviera Country Club, home of the Genesis Open, which was recently named by PGA TOUR as an elevated tournament for the next season, truly shine, down to the smallest detail.

Transformers make a heroic return to World of Warships: Legends this September

The Spring update sees a branch of German battleships entering Early Access, a new campaign starring Japanese battleship Musashi

and an exciting return of the TRANSFORMERS brand collaboration with new content

30th August – World of Warships is announcing the first of its Spring updates for World of Warships: Legends. This update introduces a new line of German battleships to Early Access, Japanese battleship Musashi available through the new Bushido campaign, and the return of the TRANSFORMERS brand collaboration. Other additions to the game include three seasons of ranked battles, aircraft carriers in the Bureau, and a new in-game event.

German battleships drop anchor in Early Access

Leading this Spring update is a new branch of German battleships coming to Early Access. Ranging from Tier IV to Tier VII, these ships carry torpedoes on board and feature a slew of enhanced secondaries. Available across a number of regular and Big German battleships crates, each of the new ships – from Tier V Mackensen to Tier VII Zieten – come accompanied by a special dedicated mission. This new line of ships will become researchable in the next update and will see the arrival of the line’s crown jewel, the Tier VIII Prinz Rupprecht.

Premium Japanese battleship up for grabs in Bushido campaign

Another five-week, 100-milestone campaign enters the game in this update with the Bushido campaign, offering up a bounty of in-game prizes along the way to the enviable Tier VIII Musashi as the campaign’s final reward. Those who make it to the end will add this battleship, sistership of the famous Yamato and its powerful 18.1-inch guns to their arsenal. With the catch-up mechanic enabled, players will have the flexibility to finish the campaign in their own time.

TRANSFORMERS return to the high seas

Making a triumphant return, TRANSFORMERS bring a brand-new full range of content to Legends. The new range of content includes six special skins for Legends anniversary update campaign ship Tier VIII République and five other Legendary ships.

Inspired by some of the acclaimed Autobot heroes and devious Decepticon villains, some of the TRANSFORMERS’ most iconic characters are represented, with skins themed around Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Hot Rod, Grimlock, Megatron and Rumble. These skins, TRANSFORMERS Commanders and much more will be available through the game’s revamped Cybertronian Container in the Store.

Marking 30 seasons of Ranked battles

With seasons 29, 30 and 31 coming in this update, Legends’ celebrates its landmark 30th season of ranked battles! Players will compete across all three seasons in a no-aircraft-carriers, four-on-four format to battle it out for the highest rung on the ladder and win a plethora of prizes spanning Steel, crates and Commander Progression items.

Legendary carriers and Premium British battleship come to Legends

Rounding off this update, a new shipment of Legendary aircraft carriers enters the Bureau as standalone projects: America’s Midway and Japan’s Hakuryū. British Tier III Premium battleship Agincourt is also up for grabs exclusively in the new Majestic Days in-game event, taking place across three weeks.

This update also brings bug fixes, upgrades, and balance changes to the game.

Welcoming Savage Game Studios and Expanding the PlayStation Community

Sony Interactive Entertainment has today entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Savage Game Studios, a hugely talented team of creatives with many years of experience making some of the most popular mobile games enjoyed by players around the world. Together, Savage Game Studios’ goal of fearlessly exploring bold new ideas and PlayStation Studios’ tireless ambition to innovate will bring PlayStation to more people than ever before.

The team at Savage Game Studios are joining the newly created PlayStation Studios Mobile Division, which will operate independently from console development and focus on creating fresh, on-the-go experiences for new and existing PlayStation IP. 

Hermen Hulst, Head of PlayStation Studios took to the PlayStation Blog to say, “I hope you’ll join me in welcoming Savage Game Studios into the fold, and that those of you who enjoy mobile gaming in addition to console or PC will look forward to what they have in store. They’re already working on a new unannounced AAA mobile live service action game. It’s too early to reveal more, but I’m so excited for when they’ll be able to.”
