Roditeli Productions partners with Running With Scissors, lines up heavyweight slate of industry talent
TUCSON, Ariz. – 10 August 2026 – Running With Scissors, creators of the (in)famous POSTAL series, in partnership with the renowned artists at Roditeli Productions, release an official digital preview for the first-ever POSTAL comic book series, giving fans a 19-page preview of the diabolical action arriving in late 2026.
With tens of millions of copies sold across the POSTAL game franchise, the greater POSTAL universe has expanded through sequels, spin-off games, a documentary film, and a movie. Now, the POSTAL Dude will make his comics debut in a series produced/co-written by Kevin Roditeli (SWAT Kats, X‑O Manowar, Bad Omens: Concrete Jungle) and co-written by Rob Cannon (Freak Snow, Anime Animay).
The POSTAL Dude makes his way through what appears to be a normal Monday until his fragile peace of mind is shattered once again – this time by an ad for a sinister dating app that sends him into a spiral of conspiracy-fueled madness.
Drawn by Artist Alex Riegel (Image Comics’ Standstill & Scumbag), featuring colors by Moreno Dinisio (Deadpool/Batman, Avengers, Power Rangers), the POSTAL comic also boasts industry heavyweights Serge LaPointe (Fantastic Four, Assassin’s Creed, WWE, Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins) on lettering and design and Chris Stevens (Marvel Artbooks) as editor.
The series will also feature covers from prominent guest artists, including:
Jim Mahfrood (Fortnite, Tank Girl, Ultimate Spider-Man, Post Malone’s Big Rig)
John McCrea (Creator of DC Comics’ Hitman, 2000AD, Batman, Deadpool)
Daniel Hillyard (Plastic, Plush, Vinyl, I Was A Fashion School Serial Killer)
Vlad Legostaev (Cover artist of Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Exquisite Corpses)
Frederik Hornung (Boom Studios’ Hello Darkness)
Drew Moss (ThunderCats, Disney’s Gargoyles)
More cover artists will be revealed.
“As a diehard POSTAL fan for over 20 years, I’ve been ecstatic about putting together a POSTAL comic,” said Kevin Roditeli, CEO and creative director at Roditeli Productions. “We’ve gathered some absolutely top-notch talent for this and worked closely with Running With Scissors’ Vince Desi and Mike J to pack as much raw POSTAL energy as possible into every panel.”
The POSTAL FIRST EVER COMIC BOOK Kickstarter campaign launches Tuesday, 11 August 2026, and fans and backers can follow the page now to get alerted when the campaign goes live.
The campaign goal is set at $100,000 USD to cover art production, printing, and manufacturing of backer rewards. Those include a Kickstarter-exclusive hardcover book with premium printing and exclusive content that will never be released outside of the crowdfunding campaign, as well as exclusive new POSTAL merchandise including T-shirts, pins, and art prints.
About Roditeli Productions
Roditeli Productions, led by Kevin Roditeli, is known in the comic book industry for organizing large events, including the recent Swat Kats – First Ever Comic Book, which set the record for the biggest single-issue comic Kickstarter campaign of all time with over $750,000 in funding. Before founding Roditeli Productions, Roditeli helped launch Whatnot Publishing with Whatnot, Inc. (#1 live shopping app) and released comics such as The Exiled by Wesley Snipes. He co-founded Massive, which published titles like Eye Lie Popeye, a hit anime reimagining the classic character. He also co-published and marketed one of the largest graphic novel Kickstarter campaigns, Sean Murphy’s Zorro: Man Of The Dead.
Running With Scissors, founded in Tucson, AZ, in 1996 and now operating from all across the world, is an independent video game studio that develops and publishes outrageous games just for the hell of it. Best known for creating POSTAL, the cult-classic video game franchise. RWS‘s goals is to make action-packed games that are fun, funny, and possibly even politically correct. Our games feature wonderfully excessive amounts of violence; however, we are not in favor of real-life violence and believe it’s a hell of a lot better to act out your frustrations in video games rather than against your fellow man. The studio recently announced its upcoming game, Flesh & Wire, which is set to release in 2027.
Dark Inertia Studios, creators of Age of Rivals, invites players to try their new civilization deckbuilder Bannerlands on August 17th, with a full release planned for Q1 2027.
[August 10th, 2026]: Bannerlands, the roguelike deckbuilder from Dark Inertia Studios – creators of Age of Rivals – will launch an updated demo on Steam on August 17th, 2026. The new demo brings an updated build featuring new artwork and gameplay features, offering players a fresh look at the strategy title as it continues development toward its targeted early 2027 release.
In Bannerlands, players build a civilization one card at a time, forging an empire through a roguelike deckbuilder where war, culture, and economy decide its fate. Each turn, players play cards to strengthen their forces, develop combos, and counter their opponent, adapting their strategy as new possibilities emerge and using powerful late-game cards to turn the tide. Every run is a new campaign, with decisive choices between military conquest, cultural development, and economic power shaping the rise or fall of the empire.
Bannerlands draws on the strategic depth of games like Slay the Spire and Civilization, combining deckbuilding with civilization-building for a fresh take on the roguelike genre. The game can be played solo through PvE campaigns, or in offline and online multiplayer, with players able to lead different rulers, each with distinct strengths and playstyles, and draft from a roster of hundreds of cards, from war elephants and cathedrals to merchants and spies.
Key features of Bannerlands include:
Build Your Empire Your Way. Build an unstoppable engine of culture and wealth, or crush your opponent through military dominance.
Discover Powerful Combos. Combine cards to create devastating strategies and adapt to new challenges each run.
Solo or Multiplayer. Test your strategies in challenging PvE campaigns, or offline and online multiplayer.
Play Unique Rulers. Lead different civilizations with distinct strengths and playstyles.
Hundreds of Cards. Draft everything from war elephants to cathedrals, and merchants to spies.
The updated Bannerlands demo, featuring the new artwork and gameplay features, will be available to download on Steam starting August 17th, 2026. Bannerlands is currently targeting a full release on Steam in early 2027.
Dark Inertia Studios is the developer and publisher of Bannerlands. The company was established by Vijay Myneni, creator of strategy card game Age of Rivals which earned a place on multiple Best of 2017 lists and currently holds a ‘Very Positive’ review score on Steam.

August 10, 2026 | Brocap Studio is excited to announce that Hubert, winner of Best Game at Game Access 2026, is coming to PlayStation 5. Play as a fluffy, overconfident shepherd dog with a nose for trouble. The game is also coming to Steam, where a free demo is live now.
Take a look at the PlayStation 5 announcement trailer below.
Meet Hubert, a fluffy, overconfident shepherd dog with a nose for trouble. He sees the world through movement, scent, instinct, and curiosity. You experience everything through his eyes.
By his side is Lily, a sharp-witted kid who just convinced the grumpiest farmer in the valley to give them both a job. Their mission is to herd dozens of mildly chaotic sheep across the pastures. Easy, right?
Not when the sheep have the attention span of a goldfish, and the farmer has zero patience. Beyond the farm, in the uncharted northern wilderness, the land grows quieter and stranger. Something is out there. Not just a threat, but a call that Hubert understands in ways he cannot fully explain.
A tale of friendship, bravery, and barking at sheep. Warning: This game contains mild mischief, stubborn sheep, and a dog who thinks he’s the main character. He might be right.

Buzzin’ Games launches The Damned Files character reveal series with a first look at Mike Dowd, one of four damned souls forced to play a horrifying game of Rock, Paper, Scissors where every defeat comes at a terrible cost.
London, United Kingdom – August 10, 2026. Indie developer Buzzin’ Games has opened The Damned Files, a new character reveal series for its upcoming psychological horror tabletop strategy game Rock, Paper, Severed, a dark, horror-infused reimagining of the classic hand game Rock, Paper, Scissors, where every lost throw costs a finger. The first reveal introduces players to Michael “Mike” Dowd, one of four playable characters whose tragic past has led him into the clutches of The Old Sire, an ancient entity offering sinners one final chance at redemption through a deadly game where every decision carries a horrifying price.
Inspired by the timeless hand game everyone knows, Rock, Paper, Severed transforms Rock, Paper, Scissors into a brutal contest of strategy, nerve and survival. Every game begins with the same familiar rules, but each defeat brings devastating consequences. Lose a throw and another finger is severed. Outplay your opponent, make clever use of strategic items, and fight to survive long enough to earn a chance at redemption.
THE DAMNED FILES // 001 MICHAEL “MIKE” DOWD
The first soul summoned to The Old Sire’s table is Michael “Mike” Dowd.
Once an idealistic police officer, Mike believed justice was worth fighting for. As the first Black officer recruited into Kent Police’s Margate division, he entered the force determined to make a difference. Instead, he found corruption, prejudice and impossible choices that would ultimately destroy everything he cared about. Scarred by the consequences of a single terrible decision and estranged from the family he once fought to protect, Mike now survives as a struggling private investigator, taking on whatever work comes through the door while searching for a redemption he fears he no longer deserves.
Known as Gauze in Rock, Paper, Severed, Mike serves as the player’s introduction to The Old Sire’s terrifying world. His journey begins with what appears to be a routine missing persons case involving psychiatrist Dr. Amy Chen, but as the deadly trials unfold, players gradually uncover the choices, tragedies and hidden connections that brought Mike, and three other damned souls, to The Old Sire’s table.
About Rock, Paper, Severed
Rock, Paper, Severed is a psychological horror tabletop strategy game that transforms the familiar hand game of Rock, Paper, Scissors into a brutal fight for survival.
Inspired by British folklore and the forgotten tradition of Sin-Eating, players are summoned before The Old Sire, an ancient entity that offers sinners one final opportunity for absolution through a series of horrifying trials. Every throw carries consequences. Every defeat comes at a terrible cost. Lose a round, lose a finger.
Throughout the single-player experience, players face The Old Sire directly as the stories of four damaged souls gradually unfold through dialogue and their encounters around the table, revealing the choices, tragedies and sins that brought each of them to this moment. Those willing to look deeper will uncover a richly woven narrative hidden throughout the experience.
Beyond the single-player campaign, multiplayer casts The Old Sire as the sinister master of ceremonies, presiding over deadly contests where strategy, deception and survival become just as important as the throw of a hand.
Blending psychological horror, supernatural folklore, strategic gameplay and a deadly reimagining of Rock, Paper, Scissors, Rock, Paper, Severed asks one chilling question:
How much of yourself would you sacrifice for redemption?
NEXT FILE: Dr. Amy Chen – Opening soon
