Roditeli Productions partners with Running With Scissors, lines up heavyweight slate of industry talent
TUCSON, Ariz. – 10 August 2026 – Running With Scissors, creators of the (in)famous POSTAL series, in partnership with the renowned artists at Roditeli Productions, release an official digital preview for the first-ever POSTAL comic book series, giving fans a 19-page preview of the diabolical action arriving in late 2026.
With tens of millions of copies sold across the POSTAL game franchise, the greater POSTAL universe has expanded through sequels, spin-off games, a documentary film, and a movie. Now, the POSTAL Dude will make his comics debut in a series produced/co-written by Kevin Roditeli (SWAT Kats, X‑O Manowar, Bad Omens: Concrete Jungle) and co-written by Rob Cannon (Freak Snow, Anime Animay).
The POSTAL Dude makes his way through what appears to be a normal Monday until his fragile peace of mind is shattered once again – this time by an ad for a sinister dating app that sends him into a spiral of conspiracy-fueled madness.
Drawn by Artist Alex Riegel (Image Comics’ Standstill & Scumbag), featuring colors by Moreno Dinisio (Deadpool/Batman, Avengers, Power Rangers), the POSTAL comic also boasts industry heavyweights Serge LaPointe (Fantastic Four, Assassin’s Creed, WWE, Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins) on lettering and design and Chris Stevens (Marvel Artbooks) as editor.
The series will also feature covers from prominent guest artists, including:
- Jim Mahfrood (Fortnite, Tank Girl, Ultimate Spider-Man, Post Malone’s Big Rig)
- John McCrea (Creator of DC Comics’ Hitman, 2000AD, Batman, Deadpool)
- Daniel Hillyard (Plastic, Plush, Vinyl, I Was A Fashion School Serial Killer)
- Vlad Legostaev (Cover artist of Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Exquisite Corpses)
- Frederik Hornung (Boom Studios’ Hello Darkness)
- Drew Moss (ThunderCats, Disney’s Gargoyles)
More cover artists will be revealed.
“As a diehard POSTAL fan for over 20 years, I’ve been ecstatic about putting together a POSTAL comic,” said Kevin Roditeli, CEO and creative director at Roditeli Productions. “We’ve gathered some absolutely top-notch talent for this and worked closely with Running With Scissors’ Vince Desi and Mike J to pack as much raw POSTAL energy as possible into every panel.”
The POSTAL FIRST EVER COMIC BOOK Kickstarter campaign launches Tuesday, 11 August 2026, and fans and backers can follow the page now to get alerted when the campaign goes live.
The campaign goal is set at $100,000 USD to cover art production, printing, and manufacturing of backer rewards. Those include a Kickstarter-exclusive hardcover book with premium printing and exclusive content that will never be released outside of the crowdfunding campaign, as well as exclusive new POSTAL merchandise including T-shirts, pins, and art prints.

About Running With Scissors
Running With Scissors, founded in Tucson, AZ, in 1996 and now operating from all across the world, is an independent video game studio that develops and publishes outrageous games just for the hell of it. Best known for creating POSTAL, the cult-classic video game franchise. RWS‘s goals is to make action-packed games that are fun, funny, and possibly even politically correct. Our games feature wonderfully excessive amounts of violence; however, we are not in favor of real-life violence and believe it’s a hell of a lot better to act out your frustrations in video games rather than against your fellow man. The studio recently announced its upcoming game, Flesh & Wire, which is set to release in 2027.
