Theos: Cities of Myth Gameplay Trailer Teaches Aspiring City Builders How to Appease the Gods

Design and realize the city of your (favored Greek deity’s) dreams in all-new game from the creators of Pharaoh: A New Era

PARIS (Aug. 11, 2026) – Publisher Dotemu (MARVEL Cosmic Invasion) and developer Triskell Interactive (Pharaoh: A New Era) today released an in-depth gameplay overview for Theos: Cities of Myth, a new city building and management game arriving as a modern homage to the greatest city builders released in the aughts. The new trailer offers a divine first look at how you’ll create flourishing cities in tribute to one of seven Olympian Gods of Ancient Greece in Theos: Cities of Myth’s clever evolution of the genre, with gameplay refined by Triskell’s proven expertise for revitalizing the classic fun of city builders. Theos: Cities of Myth launches later this year on PC. (https://store.steampowered.com/app/3002130/Theos_Cities_Of_Myth/)

As shown in today’s trailer, every city you build must begin with The Sanctuary, your God’s seat of power and the central hub your settlement will grow around. You’ll manage all aspects of your city: establishing supply and distribution chains, as well as appeasing residents to improve structures, falls under your control among other disciplines.

But Theos: Cities of Myth’s comprehensive refinements to genre conventions – like granting unprecedented control over guiding the walking units patrolling and aiding your city – resolve traditional pain points, while making the exciting challenge and vast depth of city builders approachable to newcomers and veterans alike. More details: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/3002130?emclan=103582791475668344&emgid=713405247292178696

Fulfill the desires of mighty gods like Ares or Athena to earn blessings, boons or to draw renowned figures to your city, including famous philosophers like Socrates or Aristotle. Tend to your God’s desires even while fulfilling your citizens’ earthly needs for food, housing, culture and entertainment – divine wrath can turn the tides of even the most promising utopia.

Theos: Cities of Myth offers dozens of hours of fun across its adventures and richly malleable sandbox mode, all hosted within a gorgeously realized, mythologically inspired vision of ancient Greece. Pharaoh: A New Era’s acclaimed suite of building tools also returns in Theos: Cities of Myth, empowering even complete newcomers to the genre to intricately design a bustling haven, from awe-inspiring, majestic temples down to the individual walking paths residents wander.

New features distinct from Theos: Cities of Myth’s classical inspirations deepen its strategic challenge. Amass a vast army to keep your people safe from neighboring rivals – or to conquer them as your own in real-time battles. Build a quaint town into a prosperous, far-reaching trading empire brimming with resources. A well-designed city and appeased God will beckon bonus-granting legendary heroes to your colony, reinforcing your empire with powerful might.

Theos: Cities of Myth pairs an intuitive UI, the acclaimed suite of building tools realized in Pharaoh: A New Era, dynamic lighting and thoughtful design to enrich timeless city building fun with current day sensibilities. For more updates on Theos: Cities of Myth, be sure to follow @Dotemu on X.

About SPRAWL zero

A Y2K FPS Built on Classic Console DNA

SPRAWL Zero is a first-person shooter inspired by 2000s console FPS games. Both the aesthetics and design sensibility call back to the Golden Age where the genre evolved from shooting in corridors to building worlds.

A City on the Brink

You play as FIVE, a cybernetically enhanced supersoldier controlled by the Junta. Your directive is to eliminate SILAS, leader of the radical techno-religious group IMAGO-DEI. The city will plunge into chaos as all factions known and unknown grasp for the reins. Reconcile your truths or succumb to the SPRAWL.

Fight Smart, Not Just Fast

Combat in SPRAWL Zero is fast-paced but grounded. Enemy squads will communicate and coordinate to wrestle the advantage. Flanks, covering fire, and grenades will flush you out, creating dynamic firefights inspired by classics like F.E.A.R. and Halo.

In your hands, FIVE must outsmart and outmaneuver the opposition using any advantage possible. Catch their bullets and throw them right back with the Gravity Shield, or bend your shots midair with Bullet-Time for inhuman precision. A massive arsenal of weapons and FIVE’s cybernetics are your tools of destruction.

Gravity-Based Combat Systems

Gravity Gloves, Gravity Shield, and Rushdown expand combat beyond gunplay, enabling aggressive pushes, defensive play, and physics-driven encounters. No problem has just one solution.

Designed for Player Choice

Handcrafted levels feature multiple paths, verticality, and alternate approaches, rewarding experimentation and replayability. Push aggressively, play tactically from cover, or dominate encounters through physics-based combat. Player agency was a fundamental pillar of Y2K design and SPRAWL Zero accommodates players to find their own niche.

Sengoku Dynasty Celebrates 3 Years Of Survival And Village Building With The New Kagura Update And A Special Anniversary Edition

The cherished adventure in feudal Japan looks back on three intense years since its Early Access release

Watch the Anniversary trailer on YouTube

Oberhaching, Germany, August 11, 2026 –
石の上にも三年. This Japanese proverb (pronounced ‚Ishi no ue ni mo sannen‘) translates roughly as “Three Years on a Stone” and encapsulates the journey of Sengoku Dynasty, the open world survival RPG from developer Superkami and German publisher Toplitz Productions, almost perfectly.

Committed to the process and the original vision, Sengoku Dynasty experienced plenty of meaningful updates as well as its normal amount of hardship that needed to be overcome since its release on PC in Early Access three years ago on August 10, 2023. A multitude of gameplay systems were added since. Bugs were fixed and taking the invaluable community feedback on board, quality-of-life enhancements were implemented that extended not only into version 1.0 and beyond, but also into the console versions.

Among the highlights of content additions, you can find the ‘Ikigai’ update which introduced fighting mechanics into the world of Sengoku Dynasty or ‘Kanata’, enhancing the world by adding a whole new island group with its distinct flora, fauna and new enemy types.

Over three years the development team built on the Early Access version as a strong foundation, changing and evolving Sengoku Dynasty to the game you can experience today, a home to a dedicated and thriving community every day.

To celebrate and comemmorate this moment, Superkami will get you into the Anniversary spirit with the free ‘Kagura’ update to version 1.2.3.0. Not only will you be able to wield the legendary Kintsugi weapon set, but you will be able to build house shrines and place spiritual decorations like a Taiko Drum (of course with drumsticks), scrolls, a Varja bell and much more. And you can celebrate three years of Sengoku Dynasty with the new Shakuhachi flute usable in emotes.

This will be followed by the free update 1.2.4.0., a decoration pack, that will include new door models, a shield tower, various tableware, containers, a mochi station, more plants and a plethora of other placable items, among other things. The date for update 1.2.4.0 will be announced at a later date.

Sengoku Dynasty is available now on PC (via Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store) and current-gen consoles (via PlayStation Store and Xbox Store. For more information head over to the respective store pages, where you can also find the Anniversary Edition (available on PC), giving you the full Sengoku Dynasty experience with the main game, the Sakura pack, the original soundtrack and more.

Poké Emo Reimagines Pokémon as Early-2000s Emo and Alternative Rock

Tune In With Chewie returns to GameChops with 17 guitar-driven arrangements spanning eight generations of Pokémon, drawing on Mineral, American Football, and Jimmy Eat World

PHILADELPHIA – August 11, 2026 – GameChops is pleased to present Poké Emo, a new album from multi-instrumentalist and sound designer Tune In With Chewie that reimagines the music of Pokémon through the unmistakable sound of early-2000s emo and alternative rock. Some Pokémon songs have always worn their heart on their sleeve, and across 17 tracks, Chewie leans all the way into that feeling, from the nostalgia of Pallet Town to the loneliness of Lavender Town. The album is available now on all major streaming platforms:

Listen to Poké Emo on All Platforms

“Pokémon has been a series I’ve wanted to do an album on for a long time, but I just never got around to it,” comments Tune In With Chewie. “After the success of Zelda’s Midwest Emo Mixtape, I knew I wanted to do Pokémon in this style. I love this style of music and always have. I grew up listening to a lot of Midwest emo like Mineral, American Football, and Sunny Day Real Estate, as well as 2000s emo like My Chemical Romance, Jimmy Eat World, and Thursday. I even sprinkled in some math rock, something I didn’t really get to do much of on the Zelda album.”

Built around heartfelt guitar performances recorded across a range of alternate tunings, Poké Emo gives familiar themes a sound that is equal parts nostalgic and cathartic. Chewie reharmonized many of the arrangements to fit the desired harmonic language, and the album is dotted with deep cuts for the genre faithful: the “Pokémon Theme” intro takes its chord progression from Sunny Day Real Estate’s “8,” the trumpet threaded through “Jubilife Village” is a direct nod to American Football, and a “Minerals” poster hidden in the album artwork references the band Mineral.

The full track listing for Poké Emo is as follows:

01. Pokémon Theme
02. Pallet Town
03. Littleroot Town
04. Route 201
05. Pokémon Center
06. Slumbering Weald
07. Emotion (An Unwavering Heart)
08. Surf Theme
09. Undella Town
10. Cianwood City Theme
11. Jubilife Village
12. Pewter City
13. Jubilife City

DEMO OUT NOW: SPOT YOUR FIRST FAKES IN ‘THE MONEY MAN’ ON STEAM

Learn your tools in this prequel to the main story.

ONTARIO, CANADA, AUGUST 11, 2026 | Sava Beric and Ahamed Inhaam, the duo development team behind Fenyx Digital, are thrilled to announce that a special demo for The Money Man, their latest pixel-art narrative game, is now available to download on Steam. In this choice-driven dystopian strategy sim, players are challenged to survive in the high-stakes criminal underworld of a crumbling New York City. There, spotting counterfeit bills becomes a matter of life or death.

Under New Management

Set in a sealed-off New York City 100 years after the world’s wealthy abandoned the Earth for Mars, The Money Man puts you in the shoes of a debtor forced to work off a loan in the back of a speakeasy. Your primary duty over the next 31 tense days is to inspect the money other debtors bring, ensuring that no counterfeits reach the vault.

On top of it all, the gates to Mars reopen just eleven days into your new job, bringing in a flood of strange, new currency into the city – if you’re not smart about it, it’ll be your life, or the life of the one you love, on the line.

Unforgiving Business

To manage the flow of dubious cash, you must use tools at your desk like scanners, UV plates, lights, and your reference ledger to cross-check serial numbers and verify portraits. Depending on what passes over your desk and who you speak to at the speakeasy between shifts, you’ll need to make tough choices about who walks free and who gets ruined. These choices culminate in one of nine distinct endings, where you can stay loyal to the mob, become an informant, or even escape to Mars. Even one choice can alter your ending.

Chapter One

In The Money Man’s playable demo, players will have a chance to sit down to master their tools and experience a tense prequel to the main story with its own branching story and moral dilemmas with New York’s desperate debtors.

Over the course of several days, you’ll hear the stories of an orphan boy, a waitress, and a stranger. All three will need you to let their counterfeit money pass for good reasons, but you know that any bad bills you let into the vault come out of your pay at the end of the week, putting you behind on what you also owe to the Family.

You can’t help all three and also help yourself. After five days at the desk, what choices will you make for The Money Man?

Game Features:

  • Inspect Cash Using Tools – Use a scanner and UV light and consult your notebook. Hunt for bad serial numbers, blurred faces, wrong watermarks, and counterfeit threads.
  • Friendly and Not-So-Friendly Faces – Meet recurring visitors whose lives depend on your judgement. The cop, the addict, the family settling a blood debt. None of them is a stranger for long.
  • Access the Rumor Mill – Gather rumors in the speakeasy between shifts and use what you overhear to catch the liars at your desk.
  • A New Day Dawns – Watch the world open on day eleven when a strange new currency starts crossing your desk.

For more updates, wishlist The Money Man on Steam. Interested players can also be the first to sit at the desk in an upcoming playtest.

OUT NOW: EXTRACT, DEFEND, DISCOVER. SCI-FI SHOOTER ‘OMEN’ IS AVAILABLE NOW ON STEAM

Take the role of an immortal starship pilot sent to investigate the ruins of a fallen empire.

Seattle, United States, 11 August 2026 | Indie developer Codex Interactive is excited to announce that their debut title, Omen, is out now on Steam. In this top-down sci-fi extraction shooter, players will explore and loot the war-torn remains of a fallen galactic empire while shoring up a defensive front to combat waves of lurking pirates, opportunistic traitors, and savage cultists.

Galaxy-Wide Calamity
Humanity has been reduced to a post-apocalyptic expanse of broken space stations and nomadic ships. Take on the role of an Astral, an immortal starship pilot whose job is to investigate The Veil, a cosmic anomaly hailed by an army of cultists set on inciting a total war to claim power. Amidst this macabre backdrop, Omen challenges players to root out the forces of the Veil, raid their bases, defend against retaliatory infiltration, and ally with the resistance to recenter the remaining threads of humanity.

Rebuild the Monastery
Omen combines base defense combat, ship customization, item crafting, and extraction looter elements for a cross-genre gameplay experience. At the start of the game, you come across the remains of a derelict monastery suitable enough to use as your base. With the Monastery as your hub, interact with local NPCs to claim missions, customize your ship, and build new weapons for your future raids. It is a prime target for the forces of the Veil, so it’s essential to build out its defenses to survive the brutal waves of enemy onslaught.

A Futile, Four-Part Saga
Every region of the Samarin Empire has unique challenges, quests, and loot. Discover Omen’s four-act structure as you delve further into the burning remains of a once-great civilization. Each act, complete with its own set of questlines, mini-objectives, and loot drops, ends with a high-octane boss battle to test your upgraded weaponry, tactics, and skills. Battle through military bases, secret research facilities, and the Empire’s capital city before reaching The Veil. Secure final weaponry upgrades and team up with new allies to face the abominations of this otherworldly dimension. Do you have what it takes to overcome The Veil for good?

Gameplay Features

  • Base Defense Gameplay: Hordes of pirates, a legion of traitors, and an armada of cultists want you dead. Craft a variety of defensive structures and expand your base to withstand retaliatory enemy raids.
  • Extraction Shooter: Select a mission to complete allies’ objectives and extract valuable resources; if the enemy response fleet arrives, quickly stage your exit or be prepared to face powerful capital ships.
  • Four Act Saga: Uncover the truth behind The Veil across four distinct story arcs against a cosmic backdrop of Lovecraftian-styled myth. Each Act features a unique enemy faction and culminates in an epic boss battle.
  • Over 80 Items and Upgrades: Collect loot from enemy bases, select from a variety of ship hulls, and build a combination of over 80 weapons, defensive structures, abilities, and utility items. There are hundreds of different possible loadouts, each with unique strengths and drawbacks.

Omen is now available for PC on Steam. Players can join the Discord to take part in the Omen community while staying up to date with launch announcements and future patches. For more information about Codex Interactive, please visit their website.

Sharpen Your Blades and Your Skills as Roguelike Adventure Swordcery Enters Early Access Today!

You can finally start that sword collection you’ve been talking about.

[August 11, 2026] – The day has arrived for the savior of Armorial to banish the corruption from whence it came with his trusty…shark? Swordcery is available now in Early Access with an arsenal of spellbound blades you won’t find anywhere else. Hack and slash your way to victory as Colt, utilizing traditional swords, ones that can call upon the elements, or others that are creatures with minds of their own! Each sword is unique, telling its own story and serving its own purpose on its way to saving Armorial.

From Temple Door Games, a duo who helped create 2018’s God of War cinematics, Swordcery is a roguelike ARPG with whimsy, intensity, and swords galore. Discover new blades to wield and upgrades to obtain with each run, allowing you to adjust your playstyle or improve your methods. With countless swords to collect and procedurally generated dungeons to conquer, how Colt saves Armorial is up to you!

Key Features:

  • Fight the Corruption: A giant blade has plunged into Armorial, bringing a hail of smaller blades along with it. The calamitous sword seems to be draining the power of the Armorial itself, and with each passing day, the rain of swords grows heavier and heavier. To undo this vile corruption, you’ll play as Colt, an unwitting hero who has gained the ability to wield the fallen blades. It’s time to make a stand against the Celestial evil that seeks to destroy the kingdom.
  • Unleash the Power of Spellbound Blades: As you venture forth, each new sword you find will come with a unique ability, aka its Swordcery. These abilities allow you to perform magical feats like hurling your sword out in a boomerang-like fashion, thundering down as a bolt of lightning, trapping enemies in a cardboard box, summoning ice cubes from a sword-fridgerator, launching tasty ingredients from a kabob rapier, and so much more!
  • Master the Blades: Every blade you find is categorized into a Sword Class, which has its own set of offensive maneuvers. From specific combos to unique abilities, each Sword Class may be more advantageous due to the terrain or combat situation. It is up to you to master and acknowledge which Sword Class’ attributes and attacks will work in unison along with your mighty Swordcery abilities.
  • Forged for Replayability: Each new run, you can expect to discover new swords, find various relics to add to your playstyle, choose new sword class upgrades, and trek through procedurally generated dungeons.

Experience Swordcery in Early Access on Steam now and join the Discord to chat it up with other heroes about their favorite deadly, magical, and wacky blades they’re using to save Armorial!
