LONDON, UK – August 21, 2023 – Fireshine Games is delighted to share that two of its titles – the eagerly anticipated ‘witch with a walking house’ adventure REKA from developer Emberstorm Entertainment, and the smash hit sandbox mining adventure Core Keeper from developer Pugstorm – have been selected as finalists at the prestigious gamescom awards 2023.

Nominated across multiple awards, REKA has been selected as a finalist for ‘Best Visuals’, ‘Best Audio’ and ‘Best PC Game’, while Core Keeper has been nominated for the coveted ‘Most Entertaining’ award.

This year, fans and visitors of gamescom will be given the chance to cast their vote online for their favourite nominees. Voting will begin during tomorrow’s gamescom: Opening Night Live, with the winners of each award set to be announced during gamescom studio this Friday, August 25.

Visitors can go hands-on with playable demos of both REKA and Core Keeper at gamescom later this week by heading over to the Indie Zone and the Indie Arena Booth. Other playable titles at the show from Fireshine Games include Shadows of Doubt, Toads of the Bayou, Odinfall, These Doomed Isles, Kādomon: Hyper Auto Battlers and Gestalt: Steam & Cinder.
