Might and Magic in World of Warships

Heroes of Might Magic III makes an exciting appearance just in time for the most mystical month of the year! Six new Commanders from the iconic turn-based strategy game come on the 19^th October in Warships to assert naval dominance over the high seas. Each of these Commanders comes equipped with their own unique voice over, including a reprisal of their roles from the original voice actors for Catherine Ironfist of the Castle and Sandro of the Necropolis. These high-fantasy captains all come with ten skill points, ready to lead any armada to victory. A new map directly inspired by Heroes of Might and Magic III can be found in the armory where players will unlock the Commanders alongside various resources like credits, experience points, free access to Premium account and economic bonuses.

Three new Japanese battleships

Hair-raising Halloween Operations

This update also introduces plenty of creepy content just in time for Halloween! Alongside the addition of standard and Premium Jack-o’-Lantern Containers, a special, spooky Operation comes to the game. Running across regional servers from 25 October to 9 November, this mission finds players escorting and defending Transylvania on her perilous journey to find and destroy a portal, and prevent the Forces of Darkness from spreading any further. To compensate for this tricky predicament, ships of all types spanning Tier VIII-IX can participate in this year’s Halloween Operation – with the added bonus of special modifiers to balance out performance.

Starting 3^rd of November Players can find additional Containers for Black Friday 2023 in the Armoury, and four new ships added to the game. This includes the highly requested American destroyer Black B and three other battleships and cruisers from Japanese, German and Soviet navies.

Classic game updated with one thousand officers and new features

Hertfordshire, 12^th October 2023 – Today, KOEI TECMO Europe and developer Kou Shibusawa introduced a variety of new features and enhancements to their recently announced strategy game, Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake, including new officers, scenarios, visuals, voices, and more. Kou Shibusawa’s tactical military simulation is currently under development and will be available digitally in Early 2024 on Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, and Windows PC via Steam®.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake is based on Romance of the Three Kingdoms VIII with Power Up Kit, complete with both the “All Officers Play” and “All Periods Scenarios” features, as well as a host of new content to deliver the most complete Romance of the Three Kingdoms experience to date.

Among the new additions, the number of playable officers has been increased from approximately 600 to 1,000. With newly added officers and forces, players can discover new events and relationships between officers for an even more authentic experience. The “All Periods Scenarios” feature has also been updated to offer over 55 scenarios, including fictional ones, making it the largest number of scenarios available in the series history. From the end of the Eastern Han dynasty to the final age of the Three Kingdoms period, players can choose any officers and which period they’d like to play, creating numerous possible combinations for an experience unique to each player.

To enhance the Romance of the Three Kingdoms experience, new visuals and voices have been added. Combining 2D and 3D graphics, Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake retains the atmosphere of the original game while offering new visuals and illustrations. The game also features the largest number of voices in the series, with officers speaking to players in various situations, as well as animated movies with full voices depicting important events in beautifully rendered illustrations*.

The battlefield map has also been reworked, from a single 2D picture to a mix of 2D and 3D: battlefields are created using the latest 3D technology, while distant landscapes are rendered as ink paintings to create both powerful battles and an immersive experience.

Combat in Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake will remain turn-based, just like the original title, but will feature a completely restructured system, the result of Kou Shibusawa’s 20 years of know-how since the release of Romance of the Three Kingdoms VIII. While retaining the key features such as simple rules, a map that combines field and siege battles, and the use of terrain, the pace and balance of the game have been greatly improved. With the addition of new features such as “Link Forged”, players will discover an easy-to-play yet highly tactical combat experience. The events that colour the drama between the characters can be found in the new “Tales” feature. This feature will allow players to check the conditions, outcomes, and branching of different events, so they know how to trigger the ones they want or how to avoid them. The “Tales” feature will list not only historical events but also the general ones, thus guiding players during their game.

In addition to events involving different officers, they will be linked by fate, represented by the “Destiny” feature, which has two types: “Symbiotic” and “Antagonistic”. The first type will make it easier to get a good relationship with an officer, while with the second, the chances of a bad relationship developing will be greater. Depending on how players choose to progress, non-historically related characters can be linked by “Destiny”, and as relationships deepen, “Link Forged” will occur in battles and missions, providing significant benefits.

To help players easily keep track of the relationships and “Destiny” of the officer they play, a new “Relationship Chart” feature has been added. With this feature, players will be able to keep tabs on rivals, good friends or anyone deeply involved in their lives. By interacting and working with characters they are close to, players will obtain greater achievements and will contribute to the protagonist’s growth. As relationships deepen, it will lead to events that become turning points in their officer’s life, such as sworn siblings, marriage, and child rearing. The relationships that will appear in the “Relationship Chart” will not only be historical as they will change dynamically according to the direction players take in their game.

JUJUTSU KAISEN CURSED CLASH will launch on February 2^nd, 2024 on PlayStation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam!.

In JUJUTSU KAISEN CURSED CLASH, players will be able to select their own 2v2 teams, each capable of executing a wide array of powerful tag-team attacks and combos. Field Boss Season 8 kicks off today centered around the Corrupted Vulcan. His arrival brings in a new Field Boss Season Pass as well. By completing Pass missions, a variety of rewards will be unlocked including an Earthy Yarn that can be used to craft the new Wild Canyon costume.

Other new content and season updates include the Kingdom Dungeon difficulty increased to 7 (max), while adventurers who reach level 80 can access the Legends of Goldpaw artifact page. Additionally, the Familiar Grand Prix and a new season of Twisted Borders are now available.
