September 28, 2026 – Developer Phase 8 Studio and publisher LINE Games have officially launched the playtest for CODE EXIT, the 1–4 player sci-fi co-op survival horror game where every move is watched by the rogue AI Minerva. Starting today through October 19, players can enter Pantheon, complete exploration missions across the facility, secure crucial data, and attempt to get out alive.
Players who survived the May demo will find plenty has changed in Pantheon. The former three-stage structure has been streamlined into a single, more immersive session, with clear, approachable missions replacing complex puzzles. Each run now features randomized terrain and in-game element spawn locations, while fallen players can return as “MiRO” to assist teammates and be revived through interaction. S.O.M.A. also now begins offline, awakening only when it detects nearby noise or movement, keeping players on their toes with an unpredictable threat.
Key Features of CODE EXIT:
- Solo to Four Player Tactical Co op – Choose to face the nightmare alone or team up with up to three friends. The game scales its intensity based on your group size. Success depends on real-time communication and strategic coordination to stay one step ahead of the chaser.
- Adaptive Chaser Minerva – Experience a chaser that does not follow a script. Minerva observes your habits and remembers your favorite hiding spots. If you continuously repeat the same behavior, the chaser will adapt and change its hunting pattern to catch you.
- Tactical Planning and Extraction – Strictly divide roles among your team and plan your routes based on the specific conditions and objectives of each site. Fulfilling the team’s objectives and returning safely to base is the only guarantee of survival for the operatives.
- Persistent Pressure and Dread – Forget simple jump scares. CODE EXIT focuses on a suffocating atmosphere where the chaser is always learning and getting smarter. The tension builds every minute, making each successful escape a true achievement.
