The long awaited addition to the Sword Art Online series, Ordinal Scale opened at #1 in the Japanese box office this weekend. The film produced by A-1 opened in 150 theaters across the country on February 19th.
Those of us wanting to see the film in Australian cinemas will have to wait until March 9th when selected HOYTS cinemas across the country will be screening it as a one-night release, if you’re eager to book tickets you can do so on the HOYTS website. However those attending the Madman Anime Festival in Perth will have a chance to see the film on March 4th, tickets available for sale on the day.
