Australian and New Zealand fans can now level up their memberships with ad-free access to digital manga, including titles tied to hit anime series

Sydney, Australia (October 8, 2026) – Crunchyroll Manga is now available in Australia and New Zealand, giving local fans a single destination where they can read and discover manga from leading publishers and seamlessly stream the anime adaptations on Crunchyroll. The launch was announced by Crunchyroll President Rahul Purini during closing remarks at Crunchyroll’s inaugural Anime Future Forum in New York City, as part of the service’s expansion into select English-speaking markets.
More than 250 titles from J-Novel Club, Square Enix and Yen Press are available starting today on Crunchyroll Manga in localised English via iOS, Android and web. The launch includes The Apothecary Diaries, My Dress-Up Darling, Bocchi the Rock!, Bungo Stray Dogs, Delicious in Dungeon, Lycoris Recoil, Sasaki and Miyano, Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, Konosuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! and many more. Additional titles and publishers will follow, including fan-favourite action titles from VIZ Media.
Available as a premium add-on to Crunchyroll’s streaming service and included as a member benefit with an Ultimate Fan membership in select countries†, Crunchyroll Manga offers unlimited, ad-free reading across mobile, tablet, and web, with offline reading, full two-page spreads, personalised reading lists and curated recommendations, and the ability to move seamlessly between manga and its anime adaption on Crunchyroll. The service is powered by Link-U Group, one of Japan’s leading digital manga service developers. Crunchyroll recently announced a minor investment in the Link-U Group.
