Playable demo at Tokyo Game Show 2026, Steam demo available soon
TOKYO — 16 September, 2026 — Warota: I Live Next to The Demon King’s Castle LOL, a village-building ARPG from developer Team EARTH WARS and publisher One or Eight INC., crashes the Demon King’s nightly nextdoor parties on Steam Early Access on 12 November, 2026. Go hands-on with Warota at Tokyo Game Show 2026 (Hall 2, Booth 02-C12).
Good news: you’ve been reincarnated by a Goddess as a Bounder, a rare being with the power of creation! Bad news: your new home is Luna, a world wrecked by the party-loving Demon King and her monsters. Wield those newfound abilities to transform the leftover scraps into a bountiful village. Rebuild the world, find allies to join the fight, and shut down those parties!
Channel the Goddess’ power with more than 20 Class-granting hats. Become a Farmer, Woodcutter, Warrior, Mage, and more, adapting to the village’s needs on the fly. But you can’t do everything on your own! Place a hat on recruited villagers to assign them a role and set them to work, or take them on adventures and watch them grow into trusted allies.
Go on scavenger hunts for resources with recruited allies. Chop down trees to collect wood, hunt for food, and mine rocks to collect ore. Construct homes and prepare mouth-watering meals to create a thriving community, one happy belly at a time. Foster an army of friends capable of dethroning the Demon King!
Prepare the town for the nightly concerts of Platinum, the idol Demon King next door, and the monster hordes her shows whip into a frenzy. Scour the lands for Goddess Statues to receive powerful blessings. Stack boosts in power, recovery speed, elemental effects, and more to gain an upper hand in the fighting fiesta, then defend the home you’ve built from scratch and stop the Demon King’s madness once and for all!
“Bounders around the globe will soon dive into the comically mystical world of Luna in Steam Early Access,” said developer Team EARTH WARS. “The feedback collected here will be used to help develop the full Version 1.0, which is currently scheduled for release in 2027. This will include a new story, as well as new lands to explore and new hats (job classes!) to wear!”
Warota: I Live Next to The Demon King’s Castle LOL launches on Steam Early Access for $24.99, with a 10% launch discount until Nov. 20, 2026, including language support for Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
