Publisher GIANTS Software and developer Straight4 Studios are turning up the volume in Project Motor Racing with todays’ V8 Power Pack launch. The pack brings together nine V8-powered race cars across three distinct eras of competition, plus a scanned Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.
The V8 Power Pack
Three new classes are set to join Project Motor Racing’s twenty-one motorsport eras.
- V8 Evo brings Australia’s great modern racing rivalry to the sim with the 2023 Ford Mustang AU and 2023 Chevrolet Camaro AU.
- USV8 adds contemporary American muscle in the form of the 2022 Dodge Challenger, 2022 Ford Mustang, and 2022 Chevrolet Camaro.
- Historic USV8 turns the clock back to one of the great periods of American road racing with the 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302, 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, 1970 AMC Javelin, and the iconic 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z28.
Across all three classes, the appeal is simple: big V8 power, rear-wheel drive, and no traction control, ABS, or electronic nannies. The pack takes players from the heroic days of American muscle-car road racing through purpose-built modern USV8 machinery and into contemporary V8 Evo competition – all with the driver firmly at the center of the experience.
Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta
The V8 Power Pack also adds a scanned Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, recreating both layouts – Grand Prix and Short – of this American motorsport icon. The GP layout is a 2.54-mile, 12-turn rollercoaster built into the rolling hills of north Georgia, with rapid elevation changes, fast esses, blind crests, and major braking zones forming an essential part of the challenge.
The V8 Power Pack launches today for Project Motor Racing on PC, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S. It is also included in the Year 1 Season Pass, available separately – fans save up to 30% compared to buying all content separately. Free mods are released as user-generated content on the official UGC Portal.
