The newest title from Wild Forest Studios invites players to slow down and smell the dragon fire as they set out on a vibrant hand-painted adventure to restore the long-lost bond between humans and dragons.
Thursday 24th September 2026, London, UK – Wild Forest Studio and Curve Games have today launched cosy fantasy farming sim Dragon Shelter on Steam. Available from 6PM BST, and set in a vibrant hand-painted world, Dragon Shelter invites players to embark on a cosy adventure as they work to revive the long-lost bond between humans and dragons – spending their days restoring a dilapidated farm, cooking delicious meals for the townsfolk, and breathing new life into a world simmering with magic.
Inheriting a run down farm from their grandfather, players will need to befriend several unique (and adorable) dragons, each with their own elemental magic to assist them with daily tasks – from chopping wood and watering crops, to tending livestock and terraforming land, the dragons will prove invaluable to the renovation efforts once their trust has been earned. It’s not just the farm that needs bringing back to life though, players will need to reconnect with the local townsfolk, learning their stories, cooking them food, and completing their quests as they chase away the gloom that has fallen over the town.

Each dragon in Dragon Shelter uses their specific skill set to assist players in different ways – the fire dragon can use their flames to burn through weeds creating ash for fertilizer or light the forge so the blacksmith can use his anvil once again. And the water dragon can use their elemental powers to help players water their crops, tend to their livestock, and even create culinary delights in the kitchen. While the earth dragon – a sleepy, good-natured lump of a companion – quietly enriches the soil and looks after earth livestock, the electric dragon, shy until they decide you’re safe, tends to their own enchanted plants and creatures with a lasting loyalty once that trust is earned.
