Strange Scaffold’s Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?! Launches September 14 on Nintendo Switch 2

The absurdist anime driving game is coming to Nintendo Switch 2

El Paso, TX – August 19, 2026 – Developer Strange Scaffold (I Am Your Beast, CLICKOLDING, El Paso, Elsewhere) and publisher Frosty Pop today announce that Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?! is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on September 14.

Originally released on Xbox Series X|S and Steam for PC on July 29, Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?! is an absurdist driving game that combines capitalist satire and an isekai-inspired premise. It begins with Carissa, a young woman about to start her new corporate job, being struck by a truck and awakening in a fantasy world as a buff elf.

Players must help her fight ghoulish enemies and get home in the most efficient way possible: spectacular vehicular mayhem and iseka-ing helpful resources into her dimension. Hit pedestrians, break through billboards at full speed, make rushed deliveries, and smash cops into oblivion. Together, you’ll unlock the Galactic Gate, defeat the Skeleton King, and claim his legendary Scroll of Resurrection.

Truck-kun is Supporting Me from Another World?! SWITCH 2 REVEAL:

Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?! is a humorous, OVA-sized spin on the “truck-kun” meme, a recurring anime and manga trope in which protagonists are transported to fantasy worlds after being hit by a truck. True to Strange Scaffold’s style, the game blends absurdist comedy with personal storytelling as its characters find unexpected connection and surmount impossible odds.

Key Features:

  • Dodge cops, make deliveries, and smash through objects in the chaotic small town of Wenvale, USA!
  • Complete objectives across two worlds to power up a Galactic Gate with stars and unlock a subversive, heartwarming story rooted in a love for anime and its absurdities.
  • Run over pedestrians to turn them into monsters Carissa can slay for stars and XP. It’s fine! Don’t worry! Stop thinking about it!!
  • Energetic, ska-inspired soundtrack by award-winning composer David Mason (Dredge, Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 3).
  • A giant, screaming man whose meat you can legally drive through.
