Publisher Daedalic Entertainment and developer Null Pointer Games have announced Hordeguard: Winds of the North, a brutal 3D action tower defense that blends fast-paced combat, RPG progression, exploration, and strategic tower defense in a fight for survival inspired by Norse mythology. Players can also tune into the Daedalic Showcase on August 13 for a brand-new look at the game.
In Hordeguard: Winds of the North, every battle is a race against time. Gather resources, expand your Viking settlement, and strengthen your defenses before increasingly powerful waves of mythical enemies descend upon your village. Before each assault, players must decide how far they are willing to venture from the safety of their settlement. Every resource gathered can strengthen the village, but every moment spent exploring brings the next enemy wave closer.
Whether fighting solo or alongside a friend in local co-op, every decision shapes the outcome of battle.
