Survival horror fans will feel right at home: Tormented Souls 2 features fixed camera angles, resource scarcity, puzzle-solving, and combat against grotesque creatures using makeshift weapons. The game also introduces reality-shifting mechanics—Caroline can traverse between present and otherworldly dimensions to solve puzzles and alter events. The locations are richly atmospheric, including derelict malls, shadowy convents, and forsaken schools, each hiding dark secrets and monstrous threats.
