When the King of All Cosmos’ party goes out of control and he accidentally destroys not only the earth but all of the stars in the sky once again, it is up to us as The Prince to go back through time to restore the stars in the sky through various eras in Earth’s history in Bandai Namco’s Once Upon a KATAMARI.
The beloved Katamari series rolls back into the spotlight with Once Upon A KATAMARI, developed by RENGAME and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. After a cosmic blunder by the King of All Cosmos which destroys the Earth and stars, the Prince is tasked with rolling up a katamari through time itself—visiting eras like the Ice Age, Edo Japan, and even the Jurassic period—to restore the sky’s dazzling constellations.
Using the familiar dual‑stick control scheme, players pick up objects to grow the katamari from pencils and fruit to entire dinosaurs and pirate ships. This time around, new tools such as a magnet that draws in nearby items enhance the chaos and strategy, while rich stage variety and competitive four‑player multiplayer modes (KatamariBall) give the game fresh spin.
