War Thunder Mobile conquers the past to control the future

Age of Sail battles are already available to the players

War Thunder Mobile sets a new course—straight into the past. With the launch of the “Treasure Hunt” update, Gaijin Entertainment introduces a bold expansion into the golden age of piracy. Players can now command massive sailing galleons, fire broadsides in the Caribbean Sea, and hunt for treasure on mysterious islands.

This isn’t just another content update; it’s a strategic move. While others race toward the future, War Thunder Mobile proudly hoists the sails and embraces the golden age of naval warfare that never really went out of fashion.

From April 1st to 8th, players will battle for treasure, collect rare vehicles in pirate trophies, and explore the seas in style. The update bring a stunning Caribbean location filled with reefs, shoals, and that perfect vacation-sunset illumination—if your idea of a vacation involves cannon fire and tactical ambushes. Players will also get their hands on a variety of historically flavored firepower: galleons equipped with broadside salvos, customizable shell types including sail-shredding chain shot, and a new mission system based on pirate map fragments.

Don’t expect the time travel to stop in the 1600s. The developers are already charting a course even further back—toward the oar-driven clashes of ancient history. Research is underway to bring iconic warships like Greek triremes and Persian vessels to life, with their thunderous ramming tactics and tightly packed rows of rowers. Future updates will explore these legendary naval confrontations, continuing War Thunder Mobile’s unapologetic voyage through the most dramatic moments in maritime warfare.
