SHANGHAI – HoYoverse has officially announced that Genshin Impact Version 5.6, titled “Paralogism,” will launch on May 7, 2025, bringing players back to Mondstadt for a major new Archon Quest chapter, alongside a seasonal event in Fontaine, two new playable characters, and a series of limited-time event wishes. Additionally, Genshin Impact has unveiled its first collaboration with an international beauty brand—Charlotte Tilbury—with limited-edition products launching globally on April 30.
Version 5.6 “Paralogism” – Highlights
New Archon Quest – Return to Mondstadt in a new interlude chapter where Albedo is put on trial and the city faces a looming monstrous invasion. Key characters including Venti, Lady Alice, and Dahlia will take the stage in this dramatic continuation of the Archon storyline.
Fontaine Management Event – Players will run a whimsical amusement park in Fontaine with sim-style management gameplay, unlocking special rewards and engaging minigames across the festival grounds.
New Playable Characters
• Escoffier (5-star) – A battlefield tactician who wields her culinary prowess as a weapon.
• Ifa (4-star) – A daring saurian vet who partners with his dinosaur-like companion Cacucu to dive headfirst into danger.
