Sydney, Australia — October 15, 2024 — Today, Ubisoft announced the release of Just Dance 2025 Edition and Just Dance VR: Welcome to Dancity, the latest installments of the iconic Just Dance franchise. Just Dance 2025 Edition is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with an exciting new track list spanning a variety of genres and international hits. Each Just Dance 2025 Edition copy includes a 1-month subscription to Just Dance+, giving access to hundreds of songs and more. For the first time, Just Dance franchise will also be expanding its universe to VR, with the release of Just Dance VR: Welcome to Dancity, an immersive and innovative dance experience, available on Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 3S and Meta Quest Pro.

Up to 6 players can dance together in local multiplayer, with choreography for everyone, from easy to more challenging. Just Dance 2025 Edition also includes modes that will always give you a reason to dance: with Challenge mode, players can be competitive and challenge their friends, while Workout mode offers a great way to start a fitness routine.
Just Dance is bringing a new way to expand and personalize player’s song library with Music Packs, themed collections of six songs each. All songs included in Music Packs can be played online or are downloadable and accessible offline. Thanks to Just Dance’s global platform, all the songs will be in one place, whether purchased through a Music Pack or an annual edition of the game. Music Packs are available for purchase exclusively in the new Shop section on the current Just Dance platform, and are available to players who already own a Just Dance 2023 Edition, Just Dance 2024 Edition, or any future annual edition. The first 3 Music Packs are available exclusively in the new Shop section of the game, where it is also possible to purchase annual editions of the game or subscribe to Just Dance+.
Just Dance VR: Welcome to Dancity
Developed by partner studio and VR expert Soul Assembly, Just Dance VR: Welcome to Dancity immerses dancers to a 360° universe with an added 3D dimension and two-handed scoring, thanks to Virtual Reality technology.
The music surrounds and immerses players in a way never seen before, allowing them to dance to their favorite songs in visually spectacular Danceverses. Just Dance VR: Welcome to Dancity also offers a social hub called Dancity, where up to 18 players can roam freely, meet, and shine in their customizable avatars. In the Apartment, up to 6 players can dance, play basketball, and interact with fun items such as glow sticks and foam hands, while emote stickers and voice chat enhance social interactions.
Ubisoft partnered with Ready Player Me to include their avatars in Just Dance VR: Welcome to Dancity. The avatars offer diverse, extensive, and inclusive customization options, enabling to choose body shape, facial expression, skin color, hair and outfits. While progressing in the game, players can challenge themselves and earn rewards, including in-game emote stickers, toys, aliases, and full outfits to personalize their experience.
