Join the Global Content Alignment Server Today to Receive Rewards
LOS ANGELES – OCTOBER 13, 2026 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, launched the Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Global Content Alignment server today. Players will experience sweeping updates including redesigned progression systems, evolved combat mechanics, improved social and multiplayer features, earlier access to co-op content, stunning new visuals, and much more as part of the new content fans of the franchise can expect beginning today.
Today’s launch also introduces highly anticipated new story content for players, including the story content from the Casterly Rock update, now available to Western players for the first time. Players can travel to the ancestral home of the Lannisters and face new challenges while encountering some familiar–but not necessarily friendly–faces.
And even more content is available with the launch of the Season 3 update, “Trial of the Stormlands Bannermen: Rain and Flame.” The three bannerman houses of House Fell, House Connington, and House Morrigen will become available for players to side with as they ultimately form a united front to oppose the spread of the R’hllor Red Heretic Priest faction. Along the way, players will participate in personal ranking competitions, various open-field exploration activities, and a journey to claim a new “Breath of Balerion” artifact, a remnant from the day Harrenhal fell. This artifact is believed to be fused slag left behind when Aegon the Conqueror and his dragon, Balerion the Black Dread, set Harrenhal ablaze during the Targaryen Conquest.
With the Global Content Alignment server now open, players of the original Game of Thrones: Kingsroad can retain their existing characters and gameplay on the current Western Server, or, for those who want to experience the redesigned gameplay systems on the Global Content Alignment server, a comprehensive reward program will be offered to make the transition, based on both character progression and cumulative purchase history on the Western Server.
