On August 22nd at this year’s Gamescom, CD Projekt Red dropped a new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077. This trailer announces a number of modifications and improvements to the base game, alongside a brand new expansion called “Phantom Liberty”.
The “Phantom Liberty” expansion adds a new region called Dogtown to the open-world RPG of Cyberpunk 2077 with a new storyline and missions. The trailer also shows off a number of changes to the base game, including new weapons, vehicles, a revamped police system, a new skill tree, an increased level cap, and more. Players who already own Cyberpunk 2077 can expect a free update with many of these features.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is set to release on September 26, 2023 and those who already own the game as a $29.99 USD or $44.99 AUD preorder on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. New players can preorder the base game and expansion as a bundle for $79.99 USD or $119 AUD.
