Celebrate the Upcoming Rocket League World Championship In-Game
August 3, 2023 – A new in-game event called Champions Road is now live in Rocket League! Champions Road celebrates the highest-level of Rocket League Esports competition in the world, the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS), and features Event Challenges and Rewards, a World Championship-themed Bundle, and two Limited Time Modes.
The Champions Road in-game event features:
- New Champions Road Event Challenges – Players are able to complete Event Challenges to unlock various RLCS-themed Rewards, such as the Rocket League World Championship Trophy Topper, Pro-Tek Wheels, and Shmeedian Decal (Octane). Golden Trophies are also available as a Challenge Reward and will unlock Items from the Velocity, Triumph, and Vindicator Item Series.
- New RLCS World Championship-Themed Items – The 2023 Rocket League World Championship Bundle is now available in the Item Shop for 1500 Credits. The bundle includes the RLCS Crystalline Decal (universal), Boost, and Wheels, along with the “PANDEMONIUM” by NF Player Anthem, which is the official 2023 World Championship theme song.
- Two Limited Time Modes – 2v2 Heatseeker will be live from August 3 – August 10 and Boomer Ball will be live from August 10 – August 17.
- Esports Shop Discounts – Throughout Champions Road, players will be able to purchase Decals for 200 Esports Tokens, Player Banners for 50 Esports Tokens, and Goal Explosions for 300 Esports Tokens in the Esports Shop.
Champions Road begins ahead of the Rocket League World Championship, which will take place in two phases: the Wildcard Stage running from August 4 – 6 and the Main Event from August 9 – 13. The Rocket League World Championship can be viewed on the Rocket League Twitch channel, Rocket League Esports YouTube channel, and Rocket League TikTok channel.
