RuneScape’s Fort Forinthry Season Continues Today with the Idyllic Woodcutter’s Grove Update

Exactly how much wood could a woodcut cut?

CAMBRIDGE, United Kingdom June 19, 2023 RuneScape’s Fort Forinthry season has just received a brand-new update with Woodcutter’s Grove, launching today. This arboreal addition to the Fort Forinthry storyline introduces a brand-new training area for woodcutting, a new best-in-slot hatchet, and a shedload of woodcutting perks to enhance RuneScape’s most relaxing skill.

Once the Woodcutter’s Grove is built, it becomes a one-stop shop for all woodcutting needs, including a trove of diverse trees for pro woodcutters and budding arborists alike. Notably, this content will unlock the most convenient Elder Tree location in the game, making the journey from level 1-99 a much less daunting task to take on.

This update allows players a chance to unlock the best-in-class Tier 80 Imcando Hatchet. By collecting four fragments of these legendary woodcutting tools throughout their woodcutting ventures, players can combine them with the Dragon Hatchet to make this powerful new skilling item.

Woodcutting is one of RuneScape’s most iconic skills. Not to be underestimated, it gives players access to vital resources required to build everything from deadly arrows to mighty forts. Woodcutting is also a number of players’ first skill that they fully invest in, so there is a nostalgic appeal to the humble Woodcutter’s Grove.

Other additions to RuneScape from Woodcutter’s Grove include general improvements to the woodcutting and fletching skills, upgradable wood boxes for storing logs, and the introduction of Wood Spirits, which provide an additional log to each successfully felled tree.

Fort Forinthry: Woodcutter’s Grove is members’ content. For more information, please visit the RuneScape website. RuneScape is available now on PC, Steam, iOS, and Android, complete with cross-platform progression and play on PC and mobile.

Note to Editors

Fort Forinthry: Woodcutter’s Grove requires the completion of New Foundations, Murder on the Border, and Unwelcome Guests to Tier 1, as well as level 10 Slayer and 50 Construction.
