Many have been waiting to see just when Team Cherry’s next entry in the Hollow Knight series would arrive but it looks like they are going to be waiting at least half a year more as the development team has announced that they will no longer be hitting the “first half of 2023” release window that was initially set for Hollow Knight: Silksong.
According to the team’s marketing director Matthew Griffin, the company wants to make the game “as good as we can” and while they are “excited by how the game is shaping up” that the size of it means they will need more time to ensure the level of quality fans expect. The development team has stated that they will reveal more details when they get closer to release. When Hollow Knight: Silksong does release it is currently set for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Switch, and PC.
