Throughout the years the Kingdom Hearts series has managed to tell its incredibly convoluted storyline throughout numerous genres spread across all types of platforms but one genre that the series has yet to tackle, outside of a mini-game here and there, is the musical one. That will soon no longer be the case as Square Enix has announced Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, an action game with rhythm gameplay, will be heading to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC sometime this year.
Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory will feature over a hundred and forty different songs and feature “many characters” from the series with Disney characters appearing as guests depending on the song being performed and the stage it is occurring on.
